Larina Makeup

Larina came prepared is what I will start with! I got married in the Bahamas where humidity, heat, and wind are working against every bridal look, and making it harder on every MUA. Larina though did not come to play. I booked her for touch ups from 2pm- 8pm and it was so worth it. My look truly lasted me all day. She also is one of the very few makeup artists who does hair as well, and does them BOTH EQUALLY WELL!! That, her organizational skills with her schedule, contract, and overall demeanor is perfect for a bride, especially for a destination wedding. Her prices are fair, and the skill something you won’t find everywhere! She made my mom and I look + feel beautiful. It was a crazy wedding, and you don’t always know how your wedding day will go, but one thing I was confident / glad about is booking larina. She is a true professional and so underrated in the NYC area. She does soft glam and full glam both so well, and is truly so well rounded- which I appreciate so much. Far from a one trick pony, and definitely a seasoned glam artist that you should book for your wedding. I recommend a trial for anything you are uncertain about. She is sweet, professional, and won’t disappoint!! 

Larisa's team is AMAZING!!!! I am so so happy we hired Larisa + team for her wedding. Larisa did my makeup and hair (the bride) and it lasted literally all day and looked amazing. I felt the prettiest I've ever looked, and got so many compliments! Larisa was truly a pleasure to work with - we switched settings for photos and she came with me to the second spot and touched up my hair and makeup throughout all the photos. She stayed until 7pm and ensured I looked perfect before and after the ceremony. She had a great attitude and was so calming and sweet. She also brought a team of 7 or 8 makeup artists + hair stylists total for my bridesmaids, MOH, MOB, MOG, and my grandmother. Every artist was very experienced and amazing! All the bridesmaids looked AMAZING!!! Everyone loved their makeup! My makeup and hair literally stayed in tact ALL night - even until 2pm when the after party ended!! I was dancing and sweating all night, yet somehow my makeup and hair looked perfect!!! Larisa showed up on the day of early and prepared - ready to get to work. Also, ahead of the wedding, she sent very detailed instructions / guidance on how the bride + bridesmaids should arrive (clean, washed, dry hair, no products on face, etc. so there was no room for confusion). Even with 16 women getting their hair and makeup done on a tight schedule, we remained on time all day!! Also, Larisa's prices for the bride + bridesmaids are very reasonable compared to the exorbitant NYC prices. Her add-ons (extra time, extensions, etc.) are also within reason. I also LOVED that Larisa did both makeup AND hair, meaning we didn't have to hire separate vendors for both beauty services. I cannot recommend Larisa enough! I am so so happy with the outcome!
