of what we wanted to do - e.g., we liked more smiley and fewer romantic/serious photos. I also explained I wasn’t super into the pictures that are of inanimate objects (like table settings and rings etc) so she didn’t waste a lot of time on those and just took a couple that I’m glad we have. Since we had a covid wedding, there were also a lot of rules at the time, re masks and how many people could be at the church, being outside in the church courtyard under an also last-minute tent, social distancing so Ariel had to stand kind of far away, etc., and she navigated all of these hurdles with ease. The priest also had specific instructions about where he would allow cameras and she heeded these respectfully, while still capturing the special components of the Greek Orthodox ceremony. Ariel made sure to get all of the getting ready photos and group photos we wanted during the reception, but my favorite photos were the absolute STUNNERS outside of the Church following our ceremony in the beautiful garden. She took her time with my husband and I on these and clearly had scouted out the best spots in the church courtyard at some point. They look like they are from magazines! She also is very attentive and caught candid moments that were sweet and also some funny, which was an added bonus. Apart from her beautiful, airy photos, the VERY BEST PART of Ariel’s service (at least as a bride) was that she returned probably about 30 of our best photos the very next morning, already edited. So I woke up with a little highlight reel of our wedding that I could share with everyone at breakfast. My husband and I have now had a child, but our favorite photo Ariel took at our wedding is still (and I think may always be) his cell phone background. We had our first in person meeting at our engagement shoot which she was instrumental in helping us plan and get all necessary paperwork for! We had the best time and our pictures turned out amazing! Next we had a meeting a couple of weeks before our wedding and that helped set up logistics for the day of! Day of Ariel was great! She was so instrumental in making sure everything was happening on time and getting done as discussed! She got all of the pictures I wanted and some I didn't even know I wanted! She was so kind and helpful and even offered to drive me to the venue when I wasn't sure how I was getting there! I'm definitely going to miss her now that the wedding is over, but I'm so glad that she photographed our wedding! Our sneak peek turned out AMAZING and I can't wait to see how the rest of the photos turned out!

We video interviewed a number of photographers during our search and what attracted us the most to Ariel, aside from her gorgeous portfolio, was how well we hit it off right away with her energetic and bubbly personality. With her photos, we loved how much she valued the natural lighting and how well she captures all of the natural candid moments within the events. When it came time to prepare for our engagement shoot, she was very organized and detailed about her process. She had us complete a questionnaire to get a feel of our interests and dynamic as a couple, which helped her to learn more about us and to create a vision for what type of photos we would be taking. We warned her that we've never done any type of professional shoots before and that we weren't big on PDA or having our photos taken, so she helped ease us by making us do ice breaker type routines between each shot to get us laughing and more comfortable with each other and in the moment. She was patient in walking us through the poses and how to best hold each other and angle ourselves, and even showed us the quick result from her camera screen to show us how great we were doing. The entire shoot was a breeze, and by the end we were practically (kind of) pros when it came to doing the posing! When it came time for our micro-wedding, we were already so well prepared by her from our engagement session that it was easier, less stressful, and not as awkward to have our photos taken. She had us prepare beforehand by providing a shot list of every family and wedding party photo combo we wanted, and it led to a very quick process in running through all of them on the day of. We held the ceremony at a Catholic church which held their own set of photographer rules and restrictions on where to shoot, but she was well experienced with such church restrictions and was still able to get all of the amazing angles and shots. On the day of our full wedding, we were practically vets with her along with her 2nd photographer. The photos again were an easy process where we each knew what was needed with little instruction, and she worked graciously and seamlessly with our videographer team in ensuring everyone got their shots right. During dinner we were able to zoom through our 20+ table meet and greet in record time because she and her 2nd photographer were organized in preparing the upcoming table for the next photo. Our entire wedding party and family raved about working with her and loved all of our photos, enough to where we will be seeing her again for our friends' own upcoming wedding. We absolutely enjoyed the many hours we have spent with her throughout our wedding journey and we can't recommend her enough!
