When I first meet a couple, I want to know what makes you “you” as a couple, what you do on Friday nights, how you knew they were the one. Once I know that, I know how to photograph your love the best that I can. During portraits - either your engagement session or your portraits on your wedding, I want you to look like you - you in love with your partner and not some posed person. I direct you into being the cutest, sweetest and in love you can be. I mean, I will for sure make sure you have a happy smiley photo - but I also love showing your silliness and intimacy and you being all hot and steamy with your best friend - your partner! I love colorful, full of fun, romantic, true-to-you weddings! Lark and Lavender’s approach to photography is all about photographing your authentic relationship of you and your partner in a candid, photojournalistic way. I love weddings big and small, I love classic weddings and bohemian weddings – you do you! I photograph weddings because there’s no better way for a couple to express their love for each other than a day dedicated to your love. A little about me, Ariel! I can't live without love, beautiful in-season flowers all over my house and adventure. I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings for the past 8 years; over 200 weddings! If you are not photogenic *like me* she is great at letting you know to have FUN and just enjoy your time with your person! Our engagement photoshoot was amazing and on our wedding day, Ariel and her TEAM were AMAZING, they worked with our crazy family and our crazy big day! They look like they belong in a magazine. Ariel is such a great photographer, and you will treasure her photos of your wedding forever. Best decision!

She was right on time (we were not... wedding day stress!!) and she took pictures of the ceremony venue before we arrived. She was so helpful during the whole day and made us feel very comfortable! We did not have a wedding planner for our wedding, and Ariel guided us through the day and helped with so much more than just taking photos, and we are so grateful for that! We are very happy with all of our photos that we got to remember our special day. We would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a professional and awesome wedding photographer!

For days, my husband and I laughed about how everywhere you looked - there was Ariel! She also helped in little ways too, like helping me with my dress when the zipper broke!
