We loved working with LAs for our engagement and wedding photos. They did a great job and were so easy to work with. Loved them so much they are now photographing our child(ren).

When looking for a wedding photographer, we initially thought of LA photography, as we knew the owner and staff and knew their work! We were beyond impressed with their professionalism, kindness, and thoughtfulness. They were integral to our day and took such amazing photos of natural moments. We have a pretty large family and LA was able to be effective and assertive while taking family photos, something that is very difficult to do! Their wedding packages are affordable and make it easy to use photos after the wedding for your personal use. They have excellent options to have rights to photos to print at your leisure. I cannot say enough great things about LAs photography. LouAnn doubled as a day-of coordinator on our wedding day, making sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there and just making sure everything went smoothly! Our pictures were stunning. The value we got at LAs was unbeatable--there were some photographer's packages we found that included less than half of the pictures, less shooting hours, and lesser quality than LAs...for double the price! I have gotten so many compliments on our pictures and there is not one moment they missed on camera. I would not change one thing about our photography experience. Thank you SO much Lori, LouAnn, and the whole LAs team for helping to make our day perfect and documenting it beautifully!

I’m so glad I chose LAs Photography to capture my big day. Nothing got left out and I have so many beautiful photos! LouAnn did an amazing job! I received my photos quickly and love having a copy of all the photos on a flash drive. The only downside was having to chose a few favorites to enlarge out of so many amazing photos! Megan and Morgan were our photographers the day of and they were fantastic -- got along with the bridal party so well and got so many great shots, both posed and candid. I absolutely love Lori and Morgan! When I was in a friends wedding and she had Morgan and Lori, I knew right then that when I got married I was calling them. They know exactly what to do and how to pose and stage everyone while being on schedule. They are wonderful to work with and I am dying in anticipation waiting for my pictures to come in because if they look anything close to my engagement pictures they did, they are going to be AMAZING. We are so happy that we went with Lori for our photographer. Her and her assistant Kat were amazing the day of the wedding. They came in and got right to work. It was obvious they are very experienced with capturing weddings. They helped keep the day going and truly went above and beyond. It made me less stressed knowing they needed no direction and could help when we needed it. When we went to do toast no one at the head table had drinks so they both took our drink orders and got our drinks for us. Lori also talked us through how to cut the cake correctly. The sneak peak photos looked amazing and I cant wait to see the rest!

LA’s Photography is amazing! Lori & her amazing staff photographed my family for years: dance pictures, senior pictures, my sister’s senior pictures, my engagement photos, and my 8/18/18 wedding. The quality of photos are amazing! They also design wedding invitations, save the dates, thank you cards, etc. & address them for you-which is so convenient! On our wedding day, Lori & Morgan were so accommodating. It rained on our outdoor ceremony & yet we were able to get every shot we would’ve if it wouldn’t have rained. Lori even offered to come back a different day to shoot if the rain didn’t stop. I cannot speak more highly of Lori and ALL of her staff! Truly the BEST!

We had two wonderful and such helpful photographers for our wedding! They went above and beyond for us on our special day. They sewed a button that fell off one of the groomsman’s shirt and ran back inside the venue in the middle of pictures to grab my sandals so I could be more comfortable! Our pictures are amazing, we couldn’t of asked for a better experience than LA Photography provided.

First, Lori is amazing, and from the first visit, she walked us through our timeline and talked about a package that worked for us, not just what would make her the most money. We did our engagement shoot that turned out beautifully with LouAnn and then she shot our wedding as well. LouAnn took time to meet with us before the wedding and outlined a timeline for our entire wedding down to the minute. I was nervous about timing for everything and she made me feel so at ease. The pictures (I've seen so far) are absolutely stunning - this girl is seriously talented and got everything we wanted and hoped for in our wedding photos. I couldn't be happier!

I do not have enough adjectives to describe how amazing Lori and Leann were for my wedding!! absolutely 100% what I wanted in a photographer. They were so creative, time efficient, and kept everyone on track. I have a disabled sister and they posed some creative shots where her wheelchair isn't visible. Not only did our pictures turn out PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL, they were able to position a loud, rowdy bunch to where they needed to be! Lori accompanied us to our rehearsal dinner to help direct us on where to go since our venue did not have help. She was professional, fun and amazing at what she does. My wedding party and guests all commented on how great they both were! I highly recommend LA's photography. They're quick to respond and they're turn around for pictures was right on time! AWESOME! They got amazing shots! I wish I would have gotten just bridal shots but I didn't ask. The great thing is that I didn't know what to do for photos but Lori and her daughter knew what poses would be great and had fantastic ideas on what shots would be great for us and they turned out beautiful! We wanted candid photos of our guests too and we had some fun photos of everyone that came! The price is so affordable and the service has been wonderful! we loved LA photography.

She’s so creative and entergetic which made the entire process so much better then I could have even imagined. Our engagement, and wedding pictures are a precious treasure we will forever hold on to. I heard about LA's through a co worker and a friend. I decided to meet with Lori to see what they had to offer me, and when I was leaving I knew I had to book them. I picked photographers LouAnn and Megan, hands down the BEST. They made my day and night. Anytime I asked for a certain pose or photo they were on top of it, or even just to run something to the guys prior to the start of the wedding ceremony. A month after the wedding friends and family are still talking about them! I wanted to make sure that I picked a photographer and company that I knew I would have fun with, get along with and also have memories from the best day of our lives! This company is great!!! Lori was amazing and answered all of my questions promptly and with great enthusiasm. She did such a wonderful job with our pictures and with coordinating everyone. We had a large bridal party and I have a big family so to coordinate big groups of people and have our pictures turn out and everyone happy was a miracle! Lori was amazing! I was an out of state bride and she made everything so easy for me. We had plenty of emails and phone calls leading up until the day and I never felt like I was bothering her. On our big day, we were even more impressed! She was the most efficient photographer I have ever seen. She made sure you got what you wanted and it done on time. A straight shooter but not in a mean way. Very professional. And most importantly, our pictures turned out amazing! I'm going to have a hard time picking my favorite to use for a big canvas photo. Would use her again in a heartbeat.

As a bride you constantly hear that booking a photographer that you LOVE is one of, if not the most important thing you take care of. I had met with a handful of photographers prior to requesting information from LA's Photography - my phone rang almost instantly - and it was during my 45 minute phone conversation with Lori that I understood why it was so important to choose a photographer you LOVED! My wedding was quiet unique in that we had 2 separate events, one being out of town in Traverse City and the other being our reception back home, but none of that seemed to matter to Lori, less than an hour after we got off the phone she had sent me a quote and offered TONS of advice for my 2 event wedding! Little did she know I was already sold on her work! Fast forward to our engagement session, this was really when we fell in love with Lori - we were able to select our dream venue and she brought every vision that we had to life! Lori encouraged us to just be us and hang out with each other, and we did just did! The day of our wedding Lori stayed on track, kept us focused (which we needed), and captured some of the most amazing moments that we will forever cherish. The following weekend Morgan shot our reception and put up with all of our crazy ideas, including our 2 un-photogenic dogs, rowdy family, and intoxicated guests. I would highly recommend LA's Photography, as you can see by the multiple positive reviews that already exists...they are the real deal and know what they are doing! I cannot wait for Lori to shoot my future family in the years to come <3

Lori and her assistant Morgan did an amazing job capturing our wedding on 8/28/16. Our package included and engagement session and album (still have to decide on our photos for that, there are too many great ones to choose from!!). Lori is more than knowledgeable on how to shoot a wedding and capture every element possible, she didn't miss a thing. I was so impressed with how quickly we got our photos back and how gorgeous they were! We had thousands of images that were beautifully edited in different configurations, you can also request a limited number of additional edits like if you want to see certain photos in different hues/filters/contrasts. I didn't have to ask Lori and her team for anything additional, because the options they offered were perfect, they really have an eye for what looks great. I sent 4x6 prints of our photos to the wedding guests along with our thank you notes and everyone commented on how lovely the photos were, especially on the clarity and vivid color. I could not be happier with my wedding photos, Lori was on top of everything that day and really captured the entire day exactly as I wanted to remember it. I'm so happy I chose LAs photography, they really do an outstanding job and the pictures speak for themselves. Thank you Lori and staff!

LouAnn and Megan were so great and so easy to work with. Our pictures turned out beautiful as did the wedding invitations we ordered from them. I can't wait to see our album and thank you cards! LouAnn went above and beyond on the day of my wedding. We were short a corsage and she was able to create a simple yet beautiful one for one of our grandmas with the extra flowers we had on spot! The girls were very organized and efficient even with our large wedding party and even larger family. Definitely recommend!

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! Brides, you can BREATHE! One of the most important vendors you can book is your wedding photographer (and i say that being a cake decorator haha!) and they are it! After all, your photos will be the biggest keepsake you have from your big day! (Your cake will be eaten ;) ) I have been in wedding business doing cakes for some time and by far the photos that get sent back to me, LA's are always my favorite! They know their stuff between the right angle or lighting and when to take the pictures! At my appointment, i explaind that I was very self-consious of my arms and scars to be seen in the photos due to past surgeries, and me being a crazy bride fell in love with a strapless!!!! What was I thinking!?!?!? ( I was thinking of the beautiful lace, the vintage beading, the train, and corsetted top!, WOW! Lol) so I needed the pictures to be just at the right angles and I needed the right person to take the time and help me achieve my goal....praise the Lord for LouAnn! She took the time to tell me to sit up, or turn a bit and the pictures came back beautiful! Not only on this note, but she was on time, (it was a destination too!) She was on schedual, (even when the venue ran 30 min behind, she caught us back up!), And she controlled the photos so they were done very organized,(and we had 12 adults and 14 kids in the wedding!) That takes time, a caring attitude, and talent! Look no farther than LA's, Im so glad I have my photographers for life. Thank you guys for all you have done. Lori and her team at La's photography were wonderful. Lori had taken my senior pictures back in 2010 and it was a no brainer on who I wanted to take my wedding photos. She made sure we got all of the important pictures.

It is so easy working with Lori! I met with her and set up everything, she answered all of my questions. They did my invitations for the shower and the wedding(plus they printed the addresses on the envelops, so I didn't even need to write that! Time saver! Quality was great! My photographers Megan and Michelle were so accommodating and very relaxed! I've got amazing pictures and I didn't even see where they were standing during the ceremony and the reception! They were so good. Met with them in advance as well, so I could explain what I wanted. I would definitely recommend LA's photography! Thank you for all your amazing work!

LA's photography was one of the best experiences I had leading up to my wedding day, and also on my wedding day. Lori came to rehearsal and brought up topics that we hadn't even though of yet. Then on the wedding day she was so helpful, and knowledgeable.. she was honestly like a wedding planner the day of our wedding. One of my stresses on the wedding day was that I didn't have anyone with me that knew how to put up my bustle, so at my last fitting I got a video of how to put it up and just hoped that someone would know how to do it. Lori laughed when I said I needed to show her the video.. she did it faster than the seamstress did. Lori just knew everything about everything, gave us advice on when to cut the cake instead of when we thought was the right time.. everything. She is amazing at what she does and our pictures came out perfectly. Book her. Now.

La's Photography was great to work with from our initial consultation to the very last photo taken on wedding day. Learn was our photographer for our engagement photos as well as the wedding. She and her assistants were punctual, professional and very pleasant to work with. Our photographs are beautiful and we have gotten several compliments. We will definitely use La's Photography in the future.

Lori is honestly amazing. She has the perfect personality for a photographer: high energy and ready for anything. While we were taking some pictures outside, it started to drizzle. Lori was prepared and brought out umbrellas for some shots and took many pictures under a gazebo (which turned out amazing). If you are looking for someone who is excited to get great shots and who is extremely reliable, Lor is your photographer. And all for a great price! My husband and I could not have been happier with both our experience the day of the wedding and the shots we received after.

Lori was the reason why our wedding was such a success. She was a photographer/wedding planner/life saver. She not only took beautiful photos, but she took charge during crisis. There was a plumbing situation at the church and she not only rallied the groomsmen to buy candles, but instructed them as to which brand and scent to buy. She comes to the rehearsal and we needed her there desperately. She got things moving which I really appreciated. Lori truly goes above and beyond the call of duty. Plus, LA's Photography is very affordable. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I got married April 29th 2016 in Bannister, MI and had the fabulous Lori and LouAnn photograph my special day. These two ladies were phenomenal. They were not only photographers but also planners and support the entire day. LouAnn sat with my before my ceremony and talked to me like a friend and calmed my nerves and got me ready to walk down the aisle, all while making me comfortable and perfect in my pictures. Lori worked hard to make sure I had nothing to stress about it and had me laughing, smiling and loving my whole day through. My experience with Lori was AMAZING!!! When my (now) husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Vegas, she was instantly on board and had tons of suggestions for great photo locations! She is creative, fun, enthusiastic and so passionate about what she does! She not only captures the photo, but the emotion tied to it. Lori asked for our input constantly to ensure that we were comfortable (Husband isn’t crazy about taking lots of photos) and was so quick and efficient in getting the perfect shot! Kara and Leanne were our photographers on our wedding day. Kara and Leanne are kind, organized and talented! When I was getting ready in my bridal suite and feeling nervous, they helped to relax my group and made us all feel pretty! Their photo ideas were fun and creative. I did not feel as though I needed to give any direction to Kara or Leanne throughout the event. They worked hard to manage our group respectfully so that we could keep things moving within our schedule. Kara and Leanne struck a wonderful balance by remaining in the background yet still managed to capture intimate photos. My husband and I could not be more pleased with how our photos turned out! We were given a USB drive of all of our photos after our wedding. It has been so nice to print our picture as we wish! I definitely recommend LA's Photography!

These girls went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Great things about this vendor start at the rehearsal. Lori came to our rehearsal so that we could get advice about the flow of the ceremony to get the best pictures. She gave us another perspective that we didn't have already. On the day of our wedding, Lori and Morgan showed up at the hotel for pictures of us getting ready and then met us over at the venue to take some more pictures and then even helped the guys get ready with their boutonnieres. She made sure that they were all in the same place and that everyone looked great! The two of them were great with going with the flow with our group. We had some "characters" in the wedding party like many other parties I'm sure and they didn't miss a beat. Any time we wanted an extra random picture taken, it was done right then with a smile. I watch Lori out of the corner of my eye during our first dance and she was EVERYWHERE on the dance floor snapping pictures. She was going to make sure that she nailed that moment for us. We handed out photo props at the reception and Lori and Morgan showed their fun side off some more by getting into it along with the guests. We LOVED it!! It was awesome to have photographers with great personalities and really enjoying what they were doing. I give these ladies a strong recommendation!!

We absolutely loved our photographer Megan! She was so professional and easy to work with. Our wedding coordinator at the Church was very difficult to work with and Megan was able to accommodate all of the nit picky little things that the coordinator requested. Our photos turned out great and we are so thankful to have found LAs Photography, a local favorite!

The photographers worked our nerves a little on the day of the wedding, but nothing that could take away the bliss of the day. In hindsight I wish they had placed us more for big photos rather than just asking people to join the picture. All in all I am very pleased with the pictures and the experience of the day. Great price and very communicative.

There are not enough words for me to express how awesome I think Lori and her staff are. They shot our engagement photos, which turned out amazing, and our wedding photos turned out better than I could have ever dreamed. Long story short, they are truly amazing at what they do and if you’re looking for a photographer for a special occasion, definitely check out LA’s Photography. I had multiple phone calls with Lori to review details for our wedding and map out a timeline that would work best for us, the photographers, and the venue. She was always really helpful with figuring out how best to achieve what we were looking for. She attended our rehearsal and was definitely a Godsend, as we needed the assistance running through the ceremony. I’m not sure what our ceremony would’ve turned out like had she need been there to make sure everyone understood where they were supposed to be and when! Lori and Morgan arrived before the wedding and helped with final details, making sure all of the corsages and boutonnieres were put on correctly. Of course we had rain during the only time slotted for our photos. While our family and attendants left, they made sure than we got all of the photos we’d wanted for the day and then some, which ended up offering a number of different backgrounds. They were truly amazing to work with and offered a really affordable option for all of what we’d wanted and more.

From being someone who worked in the event planning business for 5 star hotels and resorts across the country, I am probably not the easiest client but honestly just knowing what they will do put me at ease, I would have recommended them to any of my clients in a heartbeat! Honestly could not have been more pleased with how our wedding photos turned out! The amount of planning Lori and LouAnn took to make sure they knew before my day what I wanted and ensured they captured it the day of was so impressive! We get so many compliments on our photos, and they truly paint the perfect picture of our memories of that day. We live out of state but are coming back just to have them do our maternity photos and shortly after photos of our baby girl! They are so good it's worth a 7 hour drive!
