Stunning historic theater
Located in Cleveland, OH, the Ariel LaSalle Theater is a beautiful venue ready to welcome you and your guests for joyful celebrations and memory-making.
The stunning Ariel LaSalle Theater, a hidden jewel in the heart of the North Collinwood & Nottingham community, is located in a beautiful historic 1927 theater built for vaudeville, but known in the community as a single-screen movie theater, showing films until 1992. In 1995, the building was renovated into an antique car museum, but closed shortly thereafter to sadly stay vacant for over a decade, almost succumbing to the wrecking ball. In 2008 through efforts of the local councilman, the grand building was saved and designated a Cleveland Landmark.
A recent historic rehabilitation brought the building back to life as an event center offering a unique theatre-inspired experience for your special event or wedding, with a capacity of 600 people with theater style seating or 350 to 400 people seated for dinner. Our customizable theatre canopy marquee will welcome you and your guests for a memorable evening. Stroll through the lobby into the majestic main theatre area with a lofting sculpted ceiling, central stage bordered by decorative plasterwork, flanked on both sides by small side-stages featuring pillar columns. Theatrical stage lighting and a custom-designed sound system further enhance your event, creating a unique and distinctive experience for your guests.
