Rene is the Owner and Creator of the team for Lash & Lox. Her story began in Hawaii in the land of sunshine and sea where weddings are a year round occuring event. Rene began cultivating her skills and passion for Bridal since 2005. She is truely an artist and enjoys, singing, dancing, drawing, writing, painting, and Martial Arts as well. All of this translated beautifully when moving to Oregon. She began building a team to take care of the sheer number of services requested by bridal parties. Textured updos and half ups are the most requested along with Soft Glam Makeup. She is a powerful blend of creative and perfectionist-great for this industry. The week leading up to the wedding I wanted to tweak my hair style and she was super open to doing another trial run the week of my wedding (and she perfectly captured what I wanted!). It was easy for me to put all my trust in Rene and her team on my wedding day - my mom, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids looked phenomenal thanks to her and her team! I highly recommend booking Rene for your wedding day/special events!!

I was married in August of 2024 and had the pleasure of getting in touch with Rene. She was easy to get along with right away. Prior to my wedding she listened to all of my desires...
and made me feel beautiful and comfortable with somewhere along the lines of glam or enhanced natural look. I'm not a makeup expert! She definitely is. I wanted to look like I was wearing makeup, knowing that we paid for a professional photographer as well, her look was perfectly suited!
On the day of my wedding, last minute my mother decided she wanted her hair and makeup done too. Luckily, Rene was able to add her with the time we had allotted. We paid her for this of course, deservedly so. She was kind, and funny, and professional. She came a little early, and was undetected by the party upon leaving. I would recommend her for any event.

It's the type of thing a girl dreams of - being pampered & dolled up on their wedding day. I've never felt so beautiful as the day of my wedding - and so much of that goes to Rene ...
& her crew. They were punctual, professional & personable. As the bride, I worked with with Rene during hair & makeup trials, working to create a look special for me. I felt like my eye make up was going to be impossible - I have hooded eyelids which is a challenge when it comes to eyeliner and eyeshadow. After trying a couple different looks, Rene was able to master exactly what I was hoping for! She is truly an artist. Her team did a wonderful job on my bridesmaids as well - they were taking selfies all throughout the night!
I'd also like to mention, her setting spray really works. Not only did my makeup hold with all the tears, but it held perfectly after my husband face palmed me with our wedding cake.
She is a master of the "cost, quality, time" triangle & I will 10/10 recommend her to any bride to be.

e, and Rene was so flexible with her schedule and had no problem fitting me in for a trial. Between my trial and my wedding day I completely changed the direction I wanted to go with my hair, but since I was out of state I of course couldn’t come in again for another trial. Rene and I texted back and forth about my changes, and she made me feel so confident that we could achieve the new look. She gave me so much peace of mind and I knew that everything would turn out amazing even though we took it a totally different direction.
On my wedding day, I was blown away with Rene’s work! My hair and makeup turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I had to put so much trust in her (since we changed it up from the trial) and she honestly couldn’t have done a more amazing job. My makeup looked FANTASTIC, and my hair was absolutely perfect! Not only that, but everything lasted the entire night. My makeup stayed perfect, and my hair stayed completely up which almost never happens because I have a lot of hair and it’s thick. Rene and another artist did multiple services for my bridal party, and everyone was so happy with their work. I would recommend Rene to anyone looking for hair and makeup services – she’s amazing!

a perfect way to start off and I got to enjoy a date night with my soon-to-be husband while feeling amazing. The day-of went smooth as can be. She did the moms and my MOH before spending the rest of the morning on me while we chatted and sipped on mimosas. It went perfectly. I never thought I would feel "like a bride" but by the time she was done even I was convinced. Thank you Rene!

and I felt so beautiful! She also was such a calming presence and really helped my nerves. As we were finishing up I was feeling so anxious and Rene knew exactly how to handle that, she was patient and kind. Her attention to detail was also incredible, she worked with my hair until it was perfect!
