I came upon Lashes & Lace when searching for a makeup+hair team and I really liked the work they had done and I noticed other LGBT couples in their portfolio. The rest is history as they say. Sarah was the first vendor we hired so she played a big role in helping us find other vendors who would be LGBT friendly. She is compassionate, and was very sympathetic to our situation. She really tailored the whole experience to us, taking care to pay attention to the little details of our likes and vision for the wedding. She has a very thorough workflow, was very flexible with our schedules, and was very knowledgeable. Both me and my wife felt we were in good hands. Ladonna and Jenny did our hair + makeup. They were so warm when we met them at our bridal trial and really understood the styles we were going for. They would hype us up so much, it really makes you feel special. The team was honestly a shining light during a stressful wedding day morning. If there was one thing we knew was going to be ok, it was that Ladonna, Jenny, and Pi would be there handling our looks and our bridesmaids' looks. The team went out of their way to make us feel pampered and relaxed (shoutout to Theresa for being an assistant not only to the artists but to the brides as well). Sarah and her team are awesome people with infectious energy who we really vibed with. They take a very personable approach to their clients, and it makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. If I have an opportunity to work with them again, I'll absolutely go for it.

her supplies were properly cleaned and there were various bad odors coming from different sources. I showed her a few pictures and liked different things about each one. She only picked one picture to go off of (without saying anything) and didn’t communicate with me on what colors I wanted and just went with it, chatting with the woman doing my hair about their intimate lives and relationship issues. When I voiced I felt pink eye shadow was not for me, she was so rude about it and acted like it was the biggest inconvenience that I did not like the colors. I had never experienced someone just doing whatever they felt and not consulting the bride on what she wanted for her day. I would have gone a different way after my experience at the makeup trial had it not been so close to our wedding. Never book someone without meeting them! Then COVID hit and I had to reschedule our wedding the week before it was set. We scheduled it for a date a few months later but COVID was still restricting things. We decided to move it to next year on our anniversary to keep everyone safe and have the day we envisioned. She wanted to charge me an extra 1,300 for rescheduling my wedding due to the pandemic. I explained that part of the reason I wanted to reschedule were the new restrictions she had put in place and felt it was better to wait until we could have the day we planned for. She refused to refund all our money or waive the rescheduling fee. We paid over 2,000 for a job she didn’t do and she still refused to refund anything but the 400 she had charged us for travel. Overall as a bride I felt that she did not care to make our day special from the get go and tried to monetize on a situation that was out of our control. Thankfully all our other vendors were such a joy to work with from the beginning and were so understanding and did not charge fees or cause a fuss at all. I just wish it had been the same with her. Highly highly do not recommend.

We had a preview session a few months before the wedding and my then fiance and I walked out blown away by the results and so glad we chose to use Lashes and Lace. The hair stylist LaDonna worked with our pinterest board to create the exact look my wife was looking for and the makeup artist Kaia enhanced her natural features and made her eyes just pop. Friendly, helpful, and just incredibly kind, I can't say enough good things about the team at Lashes and Lace and we are so happy to have found them.

They did just that, and I felt more beautiful than I ever had. Add to all that that they’re all super fun people to be around, and you have a great wedding day ahead of you!

she is great at timing the makeup and hair sessions so you never feel rushed on the day of. Kaia did my makeup, and LaDonna did my hair for both my engagement shoot and wedding day. I was so happy with how my bridesmaids’ and my makeup and hair turned out! All of it looked so fabulous both in person and in the photos. The Lashes and Lace staff can really create any type of look you're going for. my style and was great at tweaking things that I wanted to tweak afterwards. I felt very beautiful on the day of our wedding and the makeup looks beautiful in the pictures!

I used her and got tons of compliments. Sarah is especially talented and is very artistic. She is a true professional and is very easy to get along with. She truly listens to her clients and delivers amazing results. She takes her time and does not stop until she is satisfied and until she makes sure that you are completely satisfied and happy. She gives every person the attention they deserve and is a perfectionist in her work. We have already used her multiple times. I still have to do my professional wedding photos and my husband wants to get them done in Canada but honestly the only major setback with that is that I won’t have Sarah as my makeup artist and I can’t take a risk with having someone else. I sincerely and with great pleasure, recommend Sarah. You will be very glad to work with her and will certainly love your results.

They were a delight to be around, calming when it got a bit hectic, and again....super talented. They basically walked in the morning of wearing capes. If you are trying to decide if L&L is worth the dollars or stuck trying to decide on which vendor to use, PLEASE STOP and schedule with L&L. You will not regret it.

ike hanging with 2 of my best friends. They were really so sweet and would ask me if I'm okay with everything and wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable and that I loved everything. After Sarah finished my makeup I felt like a true pin up beauty queen! I mean I dabble a bit in makeup but I had NEVER seen my face so flawless and it lasted the rest of the day. I even took a nap later that evening and nothing budged! I had also came into it thinking I needed really long hair for the pinup do I wanted but I was really wanting to cut it. I kept throwing the idea back and forth so I decided to get their opinion they both said "Do it! Its will look amazing! " So Randi actually met me a few days later to help me make sure the hair stylist knew what we wanted to do and then afterwards Randi did a second hair trial with my new hair cut and it came out amazinggggg! It was the right way to go and they helped me so much with that decision! After that bridal preview it made me that much more excited about my wedding day ♡ These ladies rock and once my bridal party saw me, they were just as excited to get dolled up too. Best decision ever, am so glad I found these 2!

The fact that I could rely on someone else's expertise on a day when I was pretty stressed out was amazing and helped me, my girls and my mom look fabulous on that important day.

When each of the bridesmaids explained what they wanted for their hairstyles, she listened and took her time to make them all extremely happy. She timed all hairstyles and makeup applications perfectly so we could stay on schedule for the rest of the day. All bridesmaids’ hair, along with my makeup and hair stayed put for the entire day and through a long six-hour reception. LaDonna used high quality makeup and application techniques to last for hours. She was flexible and willing to make changes to my hairstyle and makeup when asked. Truly, I do not have anything negative to say about this company. If given the chance I absolutely would use Lashes and Lace again in the future! I am so thankful for Sarah and LaDonna’s hard work in making my wedding day so special!

It looked exactly the same 11 hours later and I am so excited for my actual wedding day. She's amazing and you'll be in great and VERY skilled hands.

a great job she did. Amber is very detail oriented, which is nice. She was on time, honest, sweet, fun to talk with and had suggestions. I also had no clue what I wanted for a hairstyle. I did have some pictures which I showed her. She took little pieces from each hairstyle & walaaa the perfect up-do. I booked her for future events too. Everything was really great from the payment process to the booking. Her boss followed up with me & double confirmed before the wedding. It was a breeze they gained a customer for life!!
