Lasting Florals

Debbie is seriously a miracle worker! I had such an eclectic and backwards theme to my wedding, allowing my vendors so much freedom for creative expression, that I was either going to make the best or the worst bride to work with. I wasn't picky, I didn't have everything (or anything really) planned out, I was just going with the flow and building with each vendor appointment I had. Of all of my vendors, Debbie was the most excited to begin working on my wedding. I wanted big, I wanted flowing, I wanted input, I wanted bright and (later we found out) I was getting married on the hottest day of the year! My center pieces were heavily floral, my alter decorations were heavily floral -- and Debbie, in full swing, was out many hours before my ceremony start putting everything together, shifting placement of this detail or that detail until it was in it's perfect spot. Before my groom & guests began to arrive, I took a walk through around my venue and was in complete awe. She is seriously the DREAM vendor you could ever imagine working with you on your wedding day!!

Debbie is the kind of person you dream about working with for your wedding. Not only is she extremely personable, down to earth, FUN and friendly - but she has amazing attention-to-detail, her paperwork is professional and easy to follow, she LISTENS thoroughly to what you're looking for, uses visuals to communicate whenever possible, and is extremely reliable and responsive. I knew right away when I met her that I'd love working with her and within minutes I felt like I was brainstorming my wedding day vision with a friend. She helped me to improvise on a few details when they wouldn't work properly at our venue, and turned the idea into something even more awesome. She customized everything to match our colors perfectly. She placed live flowers on our wedding cake that looked SO pretty. Our bouquets and bouts were beautiful - seriously beautiful. And the centerpiece and ceremony arrangements were stunning. We got SO MANY compliments from our wedding guests and the room looked just like my vision/inspiration photos - but with it's own unique twist and personality. Debbie's prices were also extremely reasonable especially considering the level of fantastic service and dedication that she gives her clients. I honestly can't recommend Lasting Florals enough and am SO glad we chose to work with Debbie for our wedding. The flowers made such a huge impact on the look and feel of the whole event and it honestly couldn't have been more perfect. Debbie did an absolutely amazing job as our florist. We were so happy with everything. Her pieces were just stunning- from the bouquet, to the centerpieces, to the garlands on our head family table and fireplace. PERFECT! We would very highly recommend her!

Deborah Mooney has an amazing eye for flowers! I can't even begin to describe how vibrant and perfect my coral roses and ranunculus were! I had a nautical themed wedding and opted for my flowers to be wrapped in rope instead of ribbon and they turned out even better than I could have expected! Absolutely perfect is the only way I can describe the way my flowers turned out! Deborah is great to work with and I would recommend her to anyone!

Breathtaking. Beautiful. Unique. I could go on forever describing the arrangements Deborah made. I came to Deborah a little late in the planning process and was panicked because my other florist had completely missed the mark on what I was asking for. Deborah was able to perfectly replicate the vision I had and add in her own creativity to create a beautiful, elegant look for our reception. Our bouquets were equally as gorgeous - I don't think I put mine down for the entire evening! Her passion for flowers and her craft is evident in her work. I am so very glad we ended up with Deborah on our wedding day!

I met with Deborah 2 times before the reception and I have to say I was dissapointed in lack of products avalable to brainstorm with. I didnt think she captured what I wanted for my centerpeice. we only looked at pictures and she got my color scheme down, but i didnt like the centerpeices at all - she put candles in the middle of the flowers, making it look like she went skimpy on the flowers in the vase. I rather would have had the candles on the table and not actually in the vase. I saw no sample of completed product before reception or paying - which would have been helpful even if it was with a few fake flowers. I did however enjoy the bouquet I had and that was about it.

Deborah at Lasting Florals is AMAZING! We couldn't have been happier that we chose her as our florist for our May 2012 Wedding. Deborah was recommended to us by our venue. She listened to our needs and I was blown away when she delivered my flowers on my wedding day. They were everything I had imagined and more! She really goes above and beyond and has an incredible eye for color! The flowers matched my colors perfectly. Her prices are also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Deborah to anyone searching for a wedding florist.

Deborah was an angel to work with! She took the designs I emailed her and quoted me a price half of competitors who wouldn't even take time to quote me a price before meeting with me (I live 150 minutes away from Richmond). She was in constant contact about every detail, and when she delivered the bouquets they were breathtaking and captured everything I had described. She was fabulous! My bouquet even lasted a week after my wedding! Cannot say enough about her!

Debbie was wonderful I gave her pictures of what I liked and had a meeting at the venue. She did a wonderful job. I have had so many compliments on various pieces I knew I made th right choice. I never had to worry if it would be what I wanted. She kept in contact and when I had changes she was very accomodating. My husband and matron of honor had flower allergies so some traditional flowers were offlimits. You would never have known they were so beautiful. She did everything without one single traditional rose, I didn't want any and I had other florists tell me they have never done a wedding without them. I would use her in the future.

I was impressed with Debbie and her designs. She was polite and extremely patient. She produced what I had in mind for the reception and I would use her floral services again and recommend her to anyone in the future.

I loved all of the flowers for my event! The florist gave me everything I wanted and my boquet was gorgeous! It was a full red rose boquet with crystals in the center of each flower!

Deborah Mooney is the designer and owner of Lasting Florals. She is a delightful, creative, well-organized, & friendly woman. We adored everything she designed, as it was innovative and absolutely gorgeous & was EXACTLY what I asked for even from the initial meeting! Deborah is indeed above the ratings in my book, and I could not have asked for a better florist for the most important day in my life!!! Guests are still talking about her arrangements!
