About a week later we received all of our photos and they are absolutely stunning. They worked so hard to capture our love and our relationship and that attention to detail definitely shone through in our photos. We met in Central Park where he was waiting for us with his fiancé, Sydney. The session was a breeze and felt like we were just taking pictures with friends. ngaged, we were looking for a couple and wedding photographer that could capture our natural sessions and capture who we are as a couple. We don’t have experience in front of the camera, so we did need someone who was experienced with natural posing and Dan from Lasting Joy Photography was our guy. Dan’s photography and approach of capturing candid and honest moments was exactly what we wanted, so we went ahead and booked Dan as our photographer. On the day of our shoot, we had so much fun with Dan. We are not models. In fact, we hardly take any photos of each other, so we aren’t familiar with the camera. To our delight, Dan walked us through the entire photo-shoot. He knew exactly what poses will yield candid and natural results, which poses will promote movement, and which locations will bring out the natural light. The shoot yielded beautiful and candid shots that showed our personalities. With his natural eye for lighting and photography, he was able to capture the playful moments, sweet moments, in-love moments, and serious moments of the photo-shoot. Dan was unbelievably easy to work with, both in his communication to us before the shoot, the day of, and when he delivered the images. He provided our photos well ahead of schedule. He provided us with all the photos from the photo-shoot. We loved sharing our photos with our family, coworkers, and friends. They saw all the delivered photos and they pointed out how the photographer knew exactly which poses to capture and no time was wasted. In addition, they said that he knew exactly which photos to make B-and-W to our delight. We highly recommend Lasting Joy Photography for your engagement and wedding photography.
