Amanda was absolutely amazing. she did my makeup for the trial and my wedding day. I highly recommend her. I cannot say enough great things about Amanda and the service she provided on my wedding day. She did hair and make-up for myself, two of my bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law. We are all the type that worried that we would be wearing too much make-up and wouldn't end up looking like ourselves, but Amanda does a great job of making the hair and make-up look natural and photographs well. We were getting comments all day / night long on how great everyone looked. She is very professional and was there on the wedding day early to start setting up and getting ready. She was a bride's dream to work with and made the wedding morning stress free. I did a hair and make-up trial before the wedding day, which was nice as I could get a feel of what I could expect, and show her what I wanted done. She did a great job interpreting my vision and I was extremely please with how everything turned out. I would recommend her to anyone with an upcoming wedding.

The mother of the bride was very nervous about getting her make up done and Amanda was awesome squeezing in a make up trial run for her weeks before the wedding. This added touch put everyone at ease and made the morning run so smoothly. Thanks for being so great with "mature skin" and young skin.

My make up routine for the past 10 years has been concealer/foundation & eyeliner, and I've never had a clue what to to about eyeshadow since my Asian eyelids have no creases. The only hair guidance I gave Amanda were photos of different styles I liked and the helplessness of having my hair up in an Army bun everyday. I put all my faith into her abilities since I couldn't schedule a trial run before our May 18 wedding date (I'm stationed in Hawaii and couldn't get leave until 3 days before) - and it was everything I ever hoped to look like on my wedding day. I will emphasize this: I have never felt more beautiful than my wedding day. Though I tried not to tear up when I looked into the mirror afterwards, I luckily didn't have to test just how waterproof her makeup was (which she assured me it was) during that day. I was also surprised at how sturdy she made my hairstyle (a low and off-set updo of curls): I have LONG, curly, uncontrollably frizzy hair and PLENTY of it. The hairdo lasted all ceremony & reception - even with a heavy chapel length veil & after I danced the night away! I'm so glad I hired her!
