Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon

Just called to make an appointment and like many other places they require a $25 deposit. Which I’m more than okay with because I wasn’t going to miss the appointment… but then the women proceeded to tell me that the $25 is non refundable. I would be given a credit that can be used in the store towards a future purchase. Ultimately knowing that I’ve been to another place shopping and didn’t find anything there for me I can’t guarantee I’d be buying a dress from this place either so I would be sitting with a gift card I wouldn’t be using. Just very put out that they want to charge you just for shopping. I didn’t end up scheduling an appointment.

I felt so welcomed for my shopping appointment! My stylist pulled some dresses I had seen online and made some of her own recommendations. This was my very first shopping appointment and I appreciated how patient and eager the team was to help me.

I cannot say more wonderful words about this place. From start to finish the process was simple. I am a plus sized woman and they had an amazing selection and Krista helped me find the dress of my dreams. Even when there was a snafu with my Maid Of Honors dress they stepped in to help us and ease my mind when I started to panic. I cannot reccomend them enough! I wouldn't trade my dress for anything!

loved the whole bridal experience at Lastrinas! Highly reccomend, especially if you want an small group of people going with you to see your dress choices. I had gone to one other place before trying Lastrinas, and I took 5 people with me. At Lastrina's it was just me and my mom, and it was perfect!!! I got my Allure bridal gown from Lastrina. The consultant at my first appointment, Jill, was so amazing! She helped me find my perfect dress. She was so good, that my mother and mother-in-law both booked appointments with her for their dresses! The selection at Lastrina is the best I saw out of any salon. The alterations department made sure that my dress fit me perfectly and was comfortable! Highly recommended.

Overall, I really did love the salon. The dress I purchased is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. The price point is where I thought it would be. My attendant on the initial appointment was amazing and thorough. A couple downsides though- I went back to try on my dress when it came in and the attendant was silent, awkward and gave me absolutely no direction or help in any way. She made me feel like she had no idea what she was doing and couldn’t wait to get out of there. Also, my biggest disappointment- at that same appointment when the topic of alterations was brought up, the attendant informed me that their seamstress(s) were completely booked and would not be able to alter my dress. After spending $2,000 in their salon, I would have liked/expected to be able to get my dress altered in the same salon. It was extremely disappointing when she handed me a paper with other places I could take it (none of which were local). It all just seemed very unprofessional to me and I was sad to end my experience there on that note.

I can't recommend Lastrina Girls enough! It is very clear that each of their staff loves what they do and is invested in making each bride feel as beautiful as possible. I came in to the store with only a very few ideas of what I wanted in a wedding dress. My consultant looked at the single picture I brought and found my dress in an instant. My dress was the second one I put on and she hit the nail on the head when I didn't even know what I wanted. I ordered extra beading to be added to my dress and they worked with me to ensure I would have enough at a reasonable price. I would send everyone I encounter to them without hesitation.

I had the best experience here finding my wedding dress. I felt cared for and like a million bucks at this salon!

Lastrina Girls carries a great variety of dresses. This was the second store I looked at and instantly fell in love with my dress. I had a great initial experience and impression of Lastrina Girls. However, once my dress arrived, things changed drastically. To start, they ordered the WRONG SIZE dress. They remeasured me and told me I gained 5 inches (but only in my hips, no where else). The owner (Krista) was rude and not easy to work with. We brought the dress to a recommended tailor and the owner was still talking poorly about me to her own tailor! Thankfully, her tailor worked her magic and I was able to wear the dress and didn't let this ruin my wedding. If I could go back, I would DEFINITELY NOT go here, nor would I recommend this place.

I fell in love with EVERY dress I tried on here. The staff was amazing and made the dress buying experience so incredible. As a plus size girl knowing I had OPTIONS was so great. I felt so beautiful just trying on dresses. My dress on the day was so perfect it brought all the men in my life ( dad, brothers and husband) to tears.

Lastrina definitely has a gorgeous selection of dresses for reasonable prices, however, I did not have a good customer service experience a single time I visited the shop. During my initial appointment, my consultant had zero personality and my best friend ended up selecting my dress because the consultant was no help. When I went back to try on my dress for the first time after it came in, once again I was met with meek consultants who basically peeled my delicate dress off of me. When I went back a third time to do my first fitting alone, I had no help getting in or out of my dress and basically had to coach another consultant into helping me get my shoes on. I am pretty laid back so I did not let these poor customer service experiences phase me too much because I was happy with my dress, however, I do think that this could upset other brides so I wanted to share my honest experience. The owner (Krista?) is sweet and bubbly, but I had little interaction with her. Lastly, the seamstresses and tailors who they work with do fantastic work. I had no problems with them, however when I had to switch my first fitting appointment and reschedule with Lastrina, Lastrina never called them to inform them I had switched dates so it appeared to them like I was a no-show and Lastrina also did not clearly communicate with me how I was supposed to pay for my deposit so I came unprepared to my first fitting. Overall, nice dresses and good prices, but I felt like there was zero customer service as well as poor handling of my precious wedding dress -- especially after it was paid for!

I cannot recommend Lastrina Girls enough!!! They did a private appointment so it wasn’t crazy busy which I can say was wonderful and made me feel so comfortable!! My consultant Holly was absolutely amazing, attentive, knew exactly which items to pull based on what I explained to her, but most importantly she was amazing with my 2.5 year old daughter who wanted nothing more than to try on flower girl dresses!!! I can’t thank you ladies enough for a wonderful experience and for helping me to find THE dress!

I LOVED this bridal salon. Lastrina was the third and last store I went to and I will FOREVER recommend them to any and every bride. I knew I wanted a long sleeve dress and loved the look of Stella York. I had nearly said yes to a dress in another store, but held out to try a couple more long sleeves on (this one was racerback). After that one, I went to another salon where the owner made comments about me needing Spanx - SO rude. I went to Lastrina and was paired with a stylist. She was so nice and made me feel super good about myself. She put me in a few long sleeves that just weren't me, and the shorter/no sleeves just weren't as good as the one I previously almost said yes to. Toward the end of the appointment, the owner gave a dress to my stylist, a long sleeve Stella York, I tried it on and fell in LOVE. I said yes in that moment! When I got home, I went to my wedding pinterest board and guess what I saw - that EXACT dress I had ALREADY pinned! It was seriously fate, and I'm SO happy that the owner understood my vision. I brought my dress back for my fitting (a year later, thanks pandemic!) and had such a positive experience getting fitted. I still needed a veil at the time, but was considering ordering from Etsy. I had asked to try on a couple to lock down the length, but ended up finding one that matched my dress perfectly! They inquired about delivery times and said it was tight, but that it would work for my wedding date - and it did! Overall, my experience with my dress and veil was AMAZING. I'm not a huge shopper and I'm a super casual/easy bride in general, and they made me feel super special and pretty on my big day. I will forever recommend them to any brides!

My experience at Lastrina was night and day when comparing to an appointment earlier in the day at another salon. Holly was absolutely amazing - Asking all of the right questions (the tough ones), making sure I got to the true root of what I was looking for. The selection, layout & lighting of the room, and the overall customer service was beyond what I would have anticipated when dress shopping for my wedding. I am so glad I took a chance on this place, and I would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for their dream dress!

Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon is the only bridal salon you need to go to! They were nothing but accommodating - I'm not a plus size and they make sure than any size woman feels beautiful and finds her perfect dress! They had tons of dresses in stock that fit me to try on. My dress was actually the second one that I tried on and I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect!

I had gone to a salon before Lastrina's and did not have the greatest experience. Coming to Lastrina's and working with Katie was NIGHT AND DAY from my first appointment elsewhere. I did not just feel like an appointment, I felt like a celebrity and was made to feel so special. Katie was incredibly knowledgeable and made this experience so fun. She knew exactly what I wanted and it was not long before I picked out the dress I wanted (which she told me she knew was the one all along, but did not pressure me at all to buy it). HIGHLY recommend Lastrina to any bride looking for an incredible experience!

I can not say enough great things about this place! As a plus size bride, I found it very difficult to find something that would fit my shape and make me feel like a princess for my big day! As soon as I walked in, I was instantly welcomed with open arms and felt very comfortable. I gave them all of my ideas but told them, I was open to trying a little bit of everything. I am not one to wear a dress but they opened my mind and I fell in love with an amazing Essence of Australia gown. Krista, the owner, was along for the ride and called to check-in and also be there to support me when I said yes to the dress!

Lastrina Girls is where I found my dream dress! They have many different designers. You are able to describe what you like and don't like in a dress or show the girls pictures, and they will bring out options that fit your budget! They worked very efficiently (almost too efficient and quick moving since many brides are first timers and make decisions a little slower) but they are sweet. They were available in a very timely manner if I had a question for them. I lost some weight between my initial ordering and my fitting, and the lady they work with for alterations still made it turn out gorgeous. I would recommend this place to find your dress!

Lastrina Girls is a future bride's dream! After going to a bridal salon in Rocky Hill to get the famous "bridal experience", I walked away without a dress and without feeling I got that experience. That specific store made me feel like it was their job to get my sale. I booked an appointment at Lastrina girls solely to keep shopping, but I got so much more. I felt like I was shopping with a good friend, rather than being sold a dress. Tanya was patient and worked with me when I was confused, requested going in opposite directions, and needed more time. Krista was there to help give me feedback in a supportive way that didn't put down one or the other, but in a way that helped me figure out which dress was more me. Together they made this experience amazing! I would recommend them a thousand times over based on their respect to you as a person, their knowledge of their dresses, and their store experience. They are amazing!

The ladies at Lastrina were so amazing and helpful! They were the first store I went wedding dress shopping at. I thought I had a silhouette in mind but everything that style I was trying on I hated! They started pulling me different styles. I found one I loved, but I didn't feel comfortable committing on day 1. I went to 2 other bridal salons and kept comparing everything to my dress I found at Lastrina. I called them and asked if I could come by that afternoon to retry on that dress. They fit me in! Krista and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and above all very kind! I wanted my fiance to help with my search for my wedding dress and they were very welcoming to him in the salon as well! To finish off my look I went with a cape style veil instead of a headpiece veil that I also bought at Lastrina. My mother also bought her dress at Lastrina and looked beautiful!

A 2-part review and both 5 stars! Lastrina’s was the first stop in my wedding dress hunt, but not first choice. I live in another state, so this visit was purely so my elderly Nana could see me in wedding dresses. A cousin had found her dress here and raved about the experience, but I had made other appointments for myself and did not go in expecting much. I initially thought an A-line, sweetheart was best for my body type and wanted something lace with a little wow factor. Holly was my consultant and she was very patient with my not great attitude and worked with me to try on dresses I thought I would look good in. I felt meh in all of them. She sensed my frustration around the 5th dress and pulled something from the far side of the shop. ‘Humor me’ she said. It honestly looked like crap hanging, but on…holy crap. It was stunning! The total opposite of what I thought I wanted/needed. Climbed up on the box in front of the mirror and just cried. Holly put me in a crepe jersey fit and flair with a boat neck and open back. Simple, elegant and I felt like a goddess. She added a rhinestone belt and it was really the only adornment the dress needed. So thrilled! Can’t wait to wear it. It’s so classic too that it will easily alter into a cocktail dress that I get to wear for a lifetime. Fast-forward a year and just after I have my first fitting, the world goes down the tubes. We made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding. Krista (the owner) went out of her way to make sure my dress was packaged up safely for me to take home and put into storage for another year. The seamstress was even kind enough to refund my deposit. These ladies are wonderful professionals with a special talent at what they do. Worth the drive.

Lastrina was the third (yes, the third) bridal salon in hopes of finding a dress and they definitely delivered! I was very happy with my whole experience with finding a dress, to being informed when it was delivered and scheduling fittings. The customer service at this salon was outstanding. I will also add that I highly recommend using a tailor other than the one they recommend (Flavia's) because I spent over $800 in alterations and only had my dress taken in .5 inches on each side! I definitely feel like I got ripped off by their recommended tailor!

I was so nervous about trying on dresses and finding one but they made it so easy. They asked what kind of styles I had looked at as well as my vision for my wedding to make sure I found just the right one. Even the purchase and alterations were easy.

I had an amazing wedding dress hunting experience here! Not only did they have so much to choose from , they were also super helpful and friendly. Holly was so easy going, truly listened and kept us all on track! I was very anxious and overwhelmed in the beginning but with Holly’s help this was a breeze! Loved the selections and just an overall awesome experience. Can’t wait to wear my dress!

I had made appointments at three bridal salons and Lastrina was my first one. When we went to Lastrina, for my appointment, Alyssa gave us her undivided attention. I really didn't know what I wanted, and she made it such a fun experience to try on new things. After 8 dresses or so, I tried on one that I loved so much, that I ended up canceling my other appointments. It was a pleasure to work with Lastrina.

Honestly... I thought my bridal party and I hit the jack pot by supporting a local business when buying our dresses. First off.. every dress is freaking wrong. Something is wrong with my dress, my bridal parties dresses, and my MIL dress.. now we all tried to calmly fix our dresses without going into anger over board. Their seamstress is utterly rude, she told Me I need to walk and loose weight before my first official fitting..... I was so upset I called my mother and she went and got my dress and she was utterly rude and disrespectful to my mother.I called to express my feelings I get told “Let me make this clear I talked to our seamstress and she never told you to walk walk walk to fit into your dress” right then and there the owner tried to make me, my mother, and my mother in law all liars when my mother was basically screaming at the seamstress for how disrespectful and rude she was. In my eyes if you wanted to better your business don’t ever be that rude to a bridal to be or her party. None of us is happy with any dresses from them. The experience was horrible. I ended up having to buy a brand new dress at David’s bridal and the girls there made me feel absolutely beautiful and was wonderful and listened to my horrible experience at Lastrina and my experience at David’s was so amazing that I felt like a bride. The girls are snotty and think they know everything when in the end they can’t measure anyone right, I think there needs to be professionals who know how to actually measure girls to their true size... the girls who measure are clearly there just for a paycheck. Because if they knew what they were doing our dresses wouldn’t have so many problems. & Their dresses are shitty material, they are just rude and unprofessional. At first I thought we hit the jackpot and now with my wedding in 18days I needed to buy a whole new dress. Do not even waste your time or money going to this bridal salon. All they care about is the money you spend, they do not care about sending you off with happiness. No bride ever should go through any of these problems. My dress from David’s fits ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. So if I could rate them a 0 at lastrinas I would too bad google doesn’t allow you to.... imagine just imagine having a dress with snags and not fitting you when you are the bride and getting utterly rude feedback from the salon and seamstress.... not the way a bride should imagine her experience. Don’t waste your time with this salon, Go to an actual bridal salon who will make you feel like a bride and have a huge selection to try on... and will make your party and mothers feel beautiful too. Like I said.. don’t waste your time or money going to this bridal salon. Go somewhere who knows what they are doing and how to treat the brides to be and the bridal party. They only care about making money at this salon.

Experience was a dream come true! After one visit to an off-the-rack store and one full-blown bridal appointment, I was getting overwhelmed. Thankfully, Holly was ready to come to my rescue. Her only request was that I keep talking, even when it was entirely unhelpful like “I don’t know, there’s just something weird about it.” She managed to find something that has every element and tiny detail I liked from the thousands of dresses I’ve looked at and 30+ dresses I’ve tried on, so my dress is this composite of all of my favorite things from all those dresses. I truly had that moment when I felt like a bride and a princess, and the whole store made me feel special and beautiful. Another thing I loved about this store was that all the sample dresses actually fit me. There’s nothing worse than wanting to try on a dress but not even being able to get it on since the sample is a bridal size 6. The girls made me comfortable and actually promoted healthy body images by having a variety of sizes. I’ve been losing weight to get healthy, so alterations were a concern, but since they can alter down two full sizes, I feel better. The woman who measured me even told me that I don’t even have two sizes to lose, which felt incredible to hear and helps me feel validated for all my hard work. I can’t wait to shop here with Holly for a veil and other accessories!

I came to Lastrina Girls today, they are extremely professional and very understanding of how overwhelming it can me to be a bride. They listen to what I envisioned my dress to be. They have a great selection of dresses and today I said yes to the dress! I highly recommend going here to find your dress!

Had a great experience finding my dress at Lastrina Girls! The shop is beautiful and the staff really helped me to explore many options without getting overwhelmed. When I went there, I also had bridal appointments at 2 other dress shops and ended up cancelling because I walked out of Lastrina girls with my dress in hand 45 minutes after I walked in. I also bought a stunning headpiece there and used their recommended seamstress, Pina at Flavia's tailoring. AND I used their drycleaning services with great success. Would absolutely recommend Lastrina Girls, they definitely know what they are doing!

Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon was the first and only place I tried on wedding dresses. I fell in love with a beautiful ball gown and knew it was the one. I also purchased my shoes, jewelry and veil from the salon. Krista was amazing to work with. She happily contacted their Badgley Mischka representative to special order a pair of shoes for me, which was very much appreciated! I always received great, friendly service, along with a prompt phone call as soon as anything I ordered had come in. I used their in house tailoring service, who did an amazing job with alterations and adding straps to my dress. I also used their dress preservation services and my dress is now cleaned and safely packed away. Thank you Lastrina Girls Bridal Salon for being so wonderful to work with!!

I went to Lastrina Girls on another local bride’s recommendation. Amy found my perfect dress on the first try. She had asked me to show her pictures of styles I was thinking of trying and my price point. I was willing to try different styles to see what might look best on me. She stayed within my modest price point and the first dress was perfect. I tried on a few more to be sure, and I was temporarily torn between 2 similar dresses, but the price and fit of the first one won me over. I went with a strapless fit-and-flare with a corset back, which worked out well for my constant fluctuations in size. The entire process was stress-free and easy. I did all of my fitting appointments at their tailor’s shop instead of in the salon due to my schedule, which was wonderful.

Krista and all the ladies at Lastrina Bridal Salon were amazing! When you go in for your appointment, you are the only bride during that time. They make you feel so special. And the dress selection, wow!! I ended up buying a dress that I never would have tried on and I am so happy I did!! The dress was stunning and the alterations were so easy! Truly made my wedding day was amazing and I am so happy I found Lastrina! Highly recommend!!

I did not wind up buying my dress here, but shopping here was a great experience. I was the only one trying on dresses at the time and the staff was very attentive. They picked out dresses the perfectly matched my vision and gave my helpful comments. My party and I felt very relaxed and comfortable. Great experience.

I absolutely loved my experience with Lastrina Girls. From the first time I entered the shop, I knew I'd be finding my dress here. Krista and the whole staff truly make you feel special, and their selection of dresses is stunning. I went to a few stores in CT and found that Lastrina Girls had the best variety (and the most beautiful salon!) by far. The whole experience was wonderful and went so smoothly for me. I found the dress that I loved in white, but I had envisioned myself in a more ivory dress to fit with my fall wedding theme. Krista ordered it specially for me in ivory/gold and made sure everything was perfect. When I found "the dress," my mom and sister weren't completely sold on it (they loved the dress, but had a totally different vision for me). Krista pulled me aside and told me that her family initially had a similar reaction to her own wedding dress, but they ended up loving it on her wedding day. Her kindness that day stuck with me throughout the entire process, and sure enough, everyone absolutely loved the dress on my wedding day! I would highly recommend this beautiful and professional salon to any bride-to-be; I cannot thank Krista enough!

Literally the best experience with dress shopping. I wouldn’t recommend any other bridal salon other than this one. I made an after hours appointment and I was able to spend 2 hours trying on dresses. They give you 100% of their attention (no other brides during my appointment). Seriously THE BEST!!! And pricing is amazing. You can get a gorgeous gown for a very reasonable price!

I loved shopping here for my wedding dress!! I went here with the intention of trying on dresses just to get ideas, but by the fourth dress, I was done! The women there are so friendly, and they made me feel so special. They also understood exactly what I was looking for, and they pulled my perfect dress. I can not thank them enough!

I would highly recommend that Lastrina Girls is on every bride's list for both bridal dresses and bridesmaids dresses. My bridesmaids got their bridesmaids dresses from Lastrina Girls and the girls looked so fabulous in them. It can be hard sometimes to pick dress that looks good on different heights and body types, but Krista had so many options to choose from. So many guests at our wedding complimented how beautiful the dresses were and what a perfect color they were. When I visited Krista I knew I wanted a "natural" color, but wasn't sure what color to choose - it can be a pick choice and it determines a lot of the details at the wedding. Krista was so knowledgable about what color looked good in pictures and with different tones and her recommendations were on point! I cannot thank Krista and her team enough! She is such a doll to work with and super professional - always answering all my emails and phone calls timely and patiently! Thank you again :)

Lastrina Girls was the first place I went to look for my dress. From the minute we walked in to my appointment they were so welcoming and we were the only people there. It was nice being the only bride with an appointment you really got that 1:1 attention from all the wonderful ladies that work there and they make you feel so special. I went in thinking I knew what I wanted which was and A line. They put me in every style of gown to try and see what I liked and ended up picking a fit and flare. They really knew what they were doing and made me feel so special during the process. When I kept going back to the third dress they dressed me up with a veil and flowers and I ended up purchasing the dress. Going back for alterations and fittings was painless, they were flexible with when I could come and always welcomed me by name and really made you feel special in your pick. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a more quiet place and has really nice gowns of all styles. Mine was a Stella York. I wish I could do it all again!

Lastrinagirls is the one and only bridal shop to go to! The experience was exceptional and their selection of dresses gives so many options! Krista was amazing and chose the perfect dress for me! I can't thank them enough! From the very first fitting to the final pick up I was extremely impressed! My dress was beautiful and the alterations made the dress fit me like a glove. They're awesome!

I loved shopping at Lastrina Girls! They carry such a wide variety of dresses and are so reasonably priced. I was on a tight timeline to order a dress (5 months) and they were so helpful! The consultant working with me very much listened to the type of dress I was looking for. I'm super indecisive and she helped me to commit and feel confident about my decision. I feel like I purchased the most perfect dress! I would 100% recommend shopping at Lastrina Girls!

My experience at Lastrina Girls Bridal was incredible. Krista made the dress shopping experience fun, stress free and memorable. I arrived at the appointment with a vague sense of what I wanted. Krista pulled dresses based on what I felt comfortable in, and components of dresses that I liked. Most importantly, Krista was genuinely kind, honest and not pushy whatsoever (which is hard to find). I cannot recommend her and her beautiful store enough!

Lastrina Girls was the only bridal salon that I visited, and would highly recommend for any bride to be. I was drawn into the store from our jeweler as well as their summer allure trunk show. When I arrived with my mother, future mother in law and sister in law we were seated and spoke with Krista about my wedding, dress budget, venue, and likes/dislikes. Both Krista and her staff pulled 5 or 6 dresses, the first being what I thought was the ONE. It wasn’t until Krista herself pulled something that on the hanger did not look like something I would have chosen. Well, it ended up being the dress! From that day forward I was updated frequently on the status of my dress, and booked easily for my fittings. I did use the in house tailor without any issues – although I did not require many alterations because I was fitted so well! She also offers many sales throughout the year including one for veils in which I was able to try on the sample dress and veil together. Krista’s salon is a hidden gem – both herself and staff are extremely professional and easy to work with. I will miss my visits there as they made me feel like the one and only bride to be!

I do not recommend this salon. I went there a few months ago to look for my wedding dress. I didn't feel important from the moment I walked in - which surprised me because when i called to make the appointment I thought it would be an entirely different experience. First the lady helping me did not seem to listen to my wants or needs. I explained I was being open minded but did not want a poofy dress. I felt like as soon as I mentioned my budget, I was made fun of for it. I went there to begin looking at styles I liked on me but I felt like i was more of an inconvenience. When I tried on dresses, every dress was what I specifically said I didn't want. The last dress I put on was out of budget I was told. I didn't think it suited me but the lady was pushing me to say I liked it. She was trying to bribe me into buying it because she loved the train. Long story short - I said I liked it just to get out of it and walk out. That was the first and only time I will enter that salon. I do not recommend going there unless you want to feel unappreciated, ignored, and embarrassed for your budget.

Lastrina Girls is the first AND last place you'll need to look for your perfect wedding dress. The small, intimate boutique is gorgeously decorated and fully stocked with beautiful dresses, jewelry, shoes, bridesmaid dresses, and all the items necessary to outfit your dream wedding. My wife and I had some unique requests (a major one being that we needed two dresses that looked great together without one another being able to see them!!) and Krista and her staff rose to meet those requests with ease. We both purchased our dresses through Krista as well as our 10 bridesmaids dresses, our shoes, jewelry and accessories. Krista and her staff's professionalism and expertise turned us into the most perfect brides we could have ever expected. Our guests could not stop raving about how perfectly our dresses fit our personalities and how great they looked together! We're sad our wedding is over because it means we don't have reason to go spend time with Krista at Lastrina Girls anymore!!

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Lastrina Girls. I was nervous about finding the right dress and Krista and her team put me at ease and I found the prefect dress and ones for my bridal party. Krista sat me down when I arrived and we talked over what type of dresses I was thinking about and what the wedding day was going to be like. She brought out dresses like the ones that I had found on websites and in magazines. After I had finished trying them all on she recommended that I try on one last dress that I wasn't anything like I had envisioned. I tried it on and feel in love. It complimented my body type and I felt completely comfortable in it. Krista also helped me find bridal party dresses that would work together and compliment an 11 year old and two 30 year olds. I got so many compliments on the dresses at the wedding. My only complaint was the tailor that she works with, Tina. Make sure that your dress fits how you want it to fit and that you confirm with her prior to picking up the dress. I had an issue with the alterations on all three bridesmaid dresses. That is the reason why I cannot give Lastrina Girls five stars.

I ended up starting off my dress search at Lastrina girls because my best friend had such a wonderful experience with her own dress last year. As soon as I got there I felt relaxed, Krista the owner is amazing. She asks you all about your wedding, and how you want to look and feel on your big day. I spotted a dress I wanted to try as soon as I got there, and that’s the first one Krista pulled! She pulled a mix of all different ones that were so beautiful! I never ever thought I would feel so beautiful in a dress. The first one I tried on that Krista picked was mine. I knew it, and didn’t want to take it off! I tried on all the other pulled dresses and even tried on a couple my Mom and Sister pulled. I put the dress of my dreams back on and begin posing for pictures with my family. It was such a fun and relaxing time. Krista really makes you and your family feel so important. We had the entire salon to ourselves. She told us where to take good pictures, and jacked me up with a veil to really get the “OMG its real” feeling! Since my sister was there, we even had time to try on bridesmaid dress and see how a couple looked up against my dress to get the full effect. Krista really has an eye for this stuff; my mom was so impressed with everything she started to tear up a bit. It was such an amazing experience I look forward to every appointment I have with them! Truly a magical day for me and my family, it’s everything you want when dress shopping for your wedding dress!

Haven't purchased my dress yet but tried some on that I LOVED at Lastrina Girls and am excited to go back and make my final decision. The ladies who helped me couldn't have been more helpful and sincere. Had the entire store to ourselves and felt like the only bride on the planet. Thanks ladies for all your help!

Oh if I had the chance to do it all over again, I would NEVER choose Lastrina Girls to purchase the Bridesmaids dresses. Unfortunately, with weddings, you only get one shot to get it right, and often times you don't know where to go. We found this dress shop online, and it looked so nice. We called and made an appointment to try on dresses. We were greeted very nicely when we walked in, we were very excited and hopeful to find the perfect bridesmaids dresses, and a dress for me, the Mother of the Bride. The sales associate was very attentive to the bridesmaids, but not so much to me. I figured, oh, she must be focusing on the girls first, then she'll get to me. However, that did not happen. I was left to fend for myself. I remember being in the fitting room, struggling to zip up a dress, finally getting it done, then coming out of the fitting room to show everyone, and where was the sales associate?? No where to be found. I needed dress suggestions, I needed help. I went back into the fitting room and started to cry. This was supposed to be a special moment for my daughter and I, and I was being made feel like I was unimportant. I just put back on my clothes, waited for the bridesmaids to finish up with their measurements and deposits and we left. I struggled to hold back the tears all the way home. If that wasn't bad enough....second major issue. My daughter had two Jr. Bridesmaids that needed dresses. We were told by the sales associate that trey only had two dresses that came in Jr. Bridesmaid sizes. We weren't thrilled with that, but wanted the Jr. Bridesmaids to be in the same color as the bridesmaids so our options were limited. We chose the recommended dress and was assured that it came in Jr. Bridesmaids sizes. Our Jr. Bridesmaids are both age 12, which as far as I know this is completely within the normal Jr. Bridesmaid age...heck, 12 is too old to be a flower girl. The girls took called in their measurements and the dresses were ordered. Fast forward 10 weeks, the dresses finally come in and low and behold, the supposed Jr. Bridesmaids dresses are adult sizes 2 and 4. With boobs. These dresses are supposed to fit 12 year old, skinny, not developed girls. (Healthy girls that are exactly the size and weight they should be for their age!). Instead of looking at their size chart and realizing that the measurements given by the girls were way too small for the smallest dress size that the dress came in, they just went ahead and placed the order without letting us know the major measurement discrepancy. One of the Jr. Bridesmaids moms even called before the order was placed and asked repeatedly that this dress was in fact going to fit a non developed, thin, 12 year old girl. They assured her that it would. Both the dresses are huge!!! 4 sizes too big!!! I can fit in the size 4 dress that was ordered for one of the Jr. Bridesmaids and I'm 43 years old!!!! Lastrina Girls has refused to alter the dresses for free. They want to charge us $110 to do the alterations on top of the $222.00 we already paid for the dresses. They have been completely unapologetic and have not compensated us in any way. They have refused to acknowledge that this was their mistake. I highly recommend Mariella's Creations in Rocky Hill. That's where I got my dress. Paid over $800.00 for it. They were fabulous and their dress selection far superior. Don't waste your time at Lastrina Girls. Save yourself the nightmare and the headache.

I tried my hardest to give this salon a chance, I honestly did. But from the moment I walked in, I was made to feel like my day was not important to them. I am a bride and went there to buy dresses for my bridesmaids and my mother. ...they gave my mother absolutely no time! Wouldn't even pull dresses for her, I had to do the work and help her into the dresses myself!! Then I found a bridesmaid dress I liked but needed a dress for my junior bridesmaids as well. They informed me that the dress I picked could not come in junior sizes so they showed me the only 2 dresses in the store that could come in a junior dress. I hated both picks but reluctantly settled on one that matched with my brother girls.... Fast forward 10 weeks, my junior bridesmaid dresses came in, and they were each 4-6 sizes too big!!!! My mother, a 43 year old woman who has had 3 children could fit in one of the dresses! And they said that was the smallest junior size they had!!! The dress even had boobs!!!! Even the bridesmaid dresses which they measured in their own store weren't even close to fitting the girls. I called the store to see if they could help this monstrosity of a mess, and they just keep saying it's my fault that my girls were too thin for their companies sizing!!! They said my junior bridesmaids were actually flower girl sizes...and refused to accept that they don't have junior dresses. Instead of apologizing for misleading me and helping to compensate my girls for this disaster they kept insisting that the dresses they ordered for my junior bridesmaid were in fact junior sizes and fit most girls so they didn't understand why the dress didn't fit... They are the most insufferable and ignorant people I have ever had to work with. Please save yourself the headache and the embarrassment on your wedding day and go somewhere else!!! Marcella creations in rocky hill and the bridal shoppe in Warwick would be much better option for you. I wish I had found them before my girls bought their dresses. Lastrina Girls has ruined my wedding

The world needs to know how amazing this salon is! I cannot say enough amazing things about Lastrina Girls. Every detail from the first phone call to the dress pick-up was such a pleasurable experience because of Krista and her amazing crew. We drove over 4 hours for our appointment here and Krista definitely made it worth our while. The experience I had here was so much better than any of the other salons I went to. Krista took the time to get to know me and get a feel for what style of wedding I wanted and then picked out the perfect dresses to match. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured-she is so patient and incredibly helpful! The staff here are so warm-hearted and they will make you feel like family. Thank you Krista and Lastrina Girls for the most amazing wedding dress shopping experience!

Krista is simply amazing. She knows best how to pick dresses that look great on any figure. She found the perfect dress for my body type, and I couldn't be any happier. Her boutique is beautiful, and the appointments were always private, which added a special touch when trying on gowns. She is friendly, accommodating, and very easy to work with. She met all of my needs and was always happy to help. She also helped my sister find her wedding gown 3 years ago. I am so impressed by her and would recommend her to anyone.

Lastrina girls! I can't say enough about my experience there. The staff was amazing. Krista, Amy, and their new hire Jess. All wonderful. So accommodating and very sweet. They took their time to help me find my dress, I felt no pressure whatsoever. The stress level was less than none. I was able to find my dress with their expertise and care. I was the only bride in the salon at the time. Their personal touch to finding my dress was unparallel to any other shop I'd been in. And they were funny!!! Really. Truly. Best experience!! Fantastic experience! My bridal consultant was Amy, and she was amazing. The very first dress she picked hit all of my requirements and ended up being my favorite. She did a great job of listening to what I had to say about each dress I tried on, and picking the next one accordingly. I felt absolutely no pressure to buy that day, either. Krista was able to get me in for a last minute appointment, which I was so grateful for. This was my fourth dress shop, and far and away the best experience. Krista took the time to listen to me, and asked all the right questions. The real magic happened when she pulled dresses- although I had come in search of a specific dress, which she didn't have in the store, she pulled several others. I must admit, I wasn't feeling too confident when I saw what she had pulled- the dresses seemed like they really weren't what I was looking for, but I stepped into the first dress and instantly fell in love. Although it took me a little while to wrap my head around how much I loved the dress, since it was quite different than what I had expected I'd choose, I had a feeling from the moment I put it on that it was going to be My Dress! I tried on a few others, but it was evident that the first dress was a clear winner. She also suggested a different length veil than I had thought, and again, she was right on. Krista's expertise and professionalism were beyond my expectations. There was no pressure whatsoever, even though I'm a little behind schedule in ordering! I was sure I'd have to go to Boston or New York to find a dress, and even had tentative plans to do so- but Lastrina Girls provided everything I needed and wanted, and so close to home!
