La-tea-da's went above and beyond for my wedding! Janet made the planning a breeze, she was very organized and made my vision come to life. Food, drinks, and service were a top priority for my wedding and La-tea-da's more than succeeded! The food was some of the best I have ever had- we are still receiving complements from our guests! All of the small touches and details did not go unnoticed. The service was top-notch and La-Tea-Da's did not miss a beat. I would HIGHLY recommend La-tea-Da's for your wedding or next event! I look forward to using them in the future.

My daughter and son-in-law were married last weekend and LaTeaDas played a HUGE role in making their wedding a day to remember. All of our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was, how beautiful the displays were and how amazing the service was. Janet and Traci pay close attention to every detail to be sure that everything is just perfect and they hit the nail right on the head. The wedding was beautiful and we simply cannot thank LaTeaDas and their entire staff enough. They are simply the BEST!!!!

La-Tea-Da's catered our wedding in July. The food was delicious and they had many options to choose from. La-tea-da's was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating to all of our needs! They took many safety precautions and listened to all of our concerns and needs during the pandemic!

I used La-tea-da's for a bridal shower for my future daughter in law at the Brawley Estate. The food was excellent The staff worked with in choosing the menu. The staff went beyond their duty in making sure everything was perfect

Bridal shower perfection! My daughter's shower was themed 'Champagne and Tea with the Bride to be', and I naturally thought of La Tea Dad's. There could not have been a better choice! From the planning through the service to the clean up, the service was amazing. The food was incredible. From salads in individual glass bowls to the scones and lemon curd - Awesome! And beyond the taste, the food displays were gorgeous too! The staff was so amazing, as you read in other reviews, they are like family. So many guests commented on their interactions with them and how wonderful they all were, the people and such attention to detail is what makes this company great. I cannot find enough words of praise or thanks for all you did to make this day perfect for my daughter, our family and friends. This is the first bridal event within a large group of friends and so many commented that you set the bar very high. You did indeed and we loved every minute of the day, thank you!

The number one thing that people talk about when talking about our wedding is the food and how amazing it was. With so many out-of-town guests traveling in for our wedding, our goal was to serve the south on plate, and La-tea-da's did not disappoint! Best of all, they not only worked with us to plan a menu within our budget, but you would have never known a budget was considered at all when planning our menu. It was that good! In addition to that, my husband and I were just so grateful for all of the help and support their team provided along the way. We would definitely use them again!

I can’t recommend La-Tea-Das enough for your catering needs!! Working with them was a breeze, and they make you feel like family from the start. My family and I wanted to place special emphasis on the cuisine at our wedding, not only for the taste but also the presentation. We were looking for a caterer that brought the “WOW!” factor. La-Tea-Das more than delivered. Our food was the talk of our wedding reception! Working with Emily, all of our specific requests were not only met but delivered with elegance. For example, my husband and I wanted to have a dinner together alone prior to our reception entrance. We were surprised with the most beautiful and private candle-lit dinner and had the whole room to ourselves. Additionally, we had a special liquor on hand at the bar for my grandfather to enjoy. One of the waitresses somehow pegged him “as the type” to drink this without meeting him beforehand, and personally delivered a glass of his favorite whisky to him. The staff interacted (and danced!) with my guests as if we were all family. In the chaos and whirlwind of our wedding day, it was so reassuring to have LTDs as a part of it all. They contributed to ensuring that our day was absolute perfection. We cannot thank Emily, Janet, and Mark enough, in addition to the other wonderful wait staff and culinary pros behind the scenes!

Emily and David with La-tea-da's are AMAZING! So detail oriented and make sure you have everything you want plus more! Their tasting event is amazing too. Highly recommend for your big day or event!

Tamela W. We loved, love, love La-tea-da’s Catering & Events. They are best catering in all of North & South Carolina. Not only is the food delicious, but the display and the layout of the food is just beautifully done, so well. I can’t thank them enough for the tastings and yes I said tastings, because we wanted to try everything that had to make on their menu to try out for our daughter’s wedding and we choose the Fillet Mignon’s with the Carving Station ans Grilled Sexaoned Chicken (it was cooked to perfection, we all know how hard it is to bring meat into a venue hours ahead and be cooked just right without being dry, like I said it was cooked to perfection), Seasoned Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Caesar Salad, and Assorted Rolls, we even had a hot chocolate and coffee station with all of the toppings. Our daughters wedding was perfect! They even fixed our dog a doggy bag to take home because they knew the he was going to be with us all day long l, now that is what I call thoughtful of not only is, but our sign Riley. I would highly recommend La-tea-da’s in for any occasion, they are the very best. Just give Emily or Janet a call, they are friendly and warm and just the perfect ladies to help with what ever you are having. After trying several caterings companies in North & South Carolina, we tried a lot too, as soon as we started tasting their foods, we booked them on the spot and we knew that we were very lucky for finding such great and wonderful food. At our daughters wedding which was in December 29, 2019, all of the guest said just how great the food was and how pretty it was and how it was arranged on the buffet tables. You you are wanting the best food and you want it to taste just as good, then you need to ask La-tea-da’s to Catering & Events for your next event !!

We were so happy we went with La-Tea-Da's being our caterer for our wedding! Emily was so wonderful and there for me every step of the way. The tasting we were invited to sold us on picking them because the food tasted so good! We are still getting compliments from our guests that this was the best "wedding food" they have ever had!!!

La-tea-da's was the perfect choice for us! We appreciated all the help from Emily leading up to the Wedding and all the help at the tasting and tailoring our menu down for the Wedding. The day of the Wedding went absolutely perfectly and the food was all delicious! The bartenders and servers all provided great service and we very much appreciated the plate of apps and the waters that were delivered to our holding room while we enjoyed some quiet time before the reception! From start to finish the staff made us feel special and everything was taken care of in front of and behind the scenes!

La Tea Da's did an amazing job catering our 10.21.17 wedding at The Brawley Estate in Mooresville. I was so excited to work with this company from the time I looked at their sample menus and saw their variety of upscale, creative dishes. Our tasting appointment was wonderful as Janet and her team allowed us to try all sorts of delicious items. They helped us create a perfect menu for our wedding, including passed apps and custom signature drinks for cocktail hour, a plated dinner at the reception, and a delicious s'mores bar as our late night snack. Our guests raved about the quality and variety of our food. Janet and her team also made the planning process smooth and enjoyable - they are highly skilled professionals who really know their stuff. The final bill was more than I had hoped for, but in the end, it was truly worth every penny. You should definitely consider La Tea Da's for your next event!

Janet, I want to thank you for a wonderful event. My wife has expressed several times, “This is what I’ve imagined for our daughter, since the day she was born”. Your staff was as professional as it comes and I believe we have found a caterer for life. As you may well know, we had guest from as far north as Green Bay WI, and as far south as Vero Beach FL; they all raved about their dinner. La-tea-da’s far exceeded our expectations. Your teams preparation and presentation was spot on. Thank you so very much for ensuring this special day was exactly that “Special”.

Our guests are STILL raving about the food at our August wedding. One of the most important parts of the wedding for us was the food—and Janet and her team truly brought their A-game! We’ve been to our fair share of weddings with they typical dry protein, vegetable, and a starch plates. We wanted none of that. Janet was able to take our vision of an upscale tasty home-cooked southern theme and turn it into everything we asked for and more. With 100ish guests, we had passed hors d'oeuvres and 3-4 plating stations (plus my personal request for ice cream) all presented in such a beautiful and creative way and on budget. It’s all about the details with La-tea-da’s. And even our pickiest eaters were impressed with the quality of the food and service. We changed our menu items a few times and Janet was always so flexible and easy-going about every little change, and offered great suggestions for us along the way. She even packed us a huge doggy bag after the wedding—such a nice touch since you’re usually running around greeting guests and barely eating on your own wedding day. We would 100% recommend La-tea-da’s again and again! The best in Charlotte!

La-Tea-Da's catered lunch, cocktail, and dinner for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah. Janet talked to our 13-year-old about her taste and likes which showed in the personalized menu selections and beautiful presentation. We were very happy with the polite, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of compliments from our guests! Certainly the caterer of choice for our next event!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Janet with La-tea-das is or how impressed I am with her. She truly saved our wedding day, and that is no exaggeration. When we had to change our venue the day before the wedding, Janet had an amazing suggestion for a new venue. It was perfect! She made all of the contacts, met us at the venue, and explained a new vision on the fly (to a very frazzled bride). When we had to switch venues, we also had to do a rehearsal the day of. In only six hours, Janet pulled off a gorgeous and delicious rehearsal dinner at our new venue. The appetizers, dinner, and presentation exceeded every expectation. We were absolutely blown away! She and the new event location coordinator worked tirelessly to create our dream wedding. They reworked the cocktail and reception spaces so that they suited our personalities, even surprising us with market lighting and details galore! Our guests absolutely raved about how delicious the food was, and we couldn't agree more! Janet even made sure that my new husband and I had a few minutes for a candlelit dinner alone after our wedding ceremony. She even had late night snacks ready to go for our guests as they left. She is so creative in her menus and food presentation! Her staff did a fantastic job! There is no one I could possibly recommend more than Janet and her exceptional team. I could go on and on about how wonderful Janet is and how far above and beyond she went to create the perfect wedding for us. Five out of five stars simply doesn't do her or her team justice. I can't thank her enough. She is simply the best!

Wow!! There are hardly words to describe the amazing team behind this company. Janet and David took on our October wedding at LaCa where we did our ceremony and reception in the same room so they set up the tables so they were discrete but yet beautiful and then seamlessly flipped the space to create the most gorgeous reception I've ever seen. From the beginning Janet and I were in constant communication, she dealt with emails about design aesthetic and overall concepts and tirelessly worked with me through every step of the process. We had a tasting where not only got to experience the food but got to know the team and see the visual elements they could incorporate into the setup of the wedding. Janet and David were both there the day before helping setup and listen to my crazy ramblings/ try to decipher my diagrams and to do lists..they treated the day not like just another event but like it was their wedding, their family and their friends. They made sure every little detail was perfect...down to the cocktail napkins matching our colors and the cake table mimicking our industrial theme. The setup was stunning, the service was impeccable, and the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. Family and friends are still raving about the menu (which they worked with me through multiple iterations to customize to exactly what we were looking for). I could go on and on but just know that yes, it's an investment, but you're not just getting food, you're getting an unforgettable experience.

What an amazing business!! I literally have never eaten better catered food than what I received for my rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner with La-tea-da's. Weeks after my wedding, my family and friends are still raving about the food-and we know that's the most important part to the guests! I could not have asked for a better woman to work with on my catering than Janet. She helped me out so much with both choosing my menu and with making sure I was able to keep the meal within my budget and still have what I wanted. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend!

After the caterer we planned on using fell through (about 3 weeks before the wedding!!!) we were scrambling to find someone. La-tea-da's to the rescue!! Janet and Sam were absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a slightly unusual format for our wedding but they worked with us and it went off flawlessly. People are still talking about the food - not only how whimsical and fun it was but how amazing it was! We were told by multiple people it was the best food they've had at a wedding. Their service staff is fantastic. They made sure we had food during the reception and before we left Sam handed us a huge bag of food. We took it with us on the honeymoon and had a picnic the day after and were able to have snacks for the whole trip! I seriously can not sing high enough praises about La-tea-da's, in fact, we are planning on using them for my parent's 40th wedding anniversary next year. If you are looking for warm, friendly people to work with and fun, incredible food - look no further!

My husband and I got married in July, 2014 in Charlotte, NC and used La Tea Da for all of our food, staffing, decorating and also hired Elizabeth as our day of coordinator. I cannot say enough good things about this company and Elizabeth. Thanks to la tea da no details were missed on the day of my wedding and the reception went off flawlessly. My guests are still talking about the amazing food provided - the shrimp and grits were the talk of the reception - but along with the food and appetizers, la tea da also assisted my in picking out my linens, tableware and flatware, organized and provided all waitstaff and bartenders, cleaned up after my event and set each and every table for my guests. On top of ALL of this - Elizabeth also coordinated the day of with all of my other vendors so we literally just had to pick things out and show up! It was amazing and my husband and I will be forever grateful to Elizabeth and the staff at La Tea Da.

La-Tea-Da's helped make our wedding day one-of-a-kind for our wedding guests! They were very professional, and helped bring our vision of the wedding day food to reality! As big foodies, my husband and I really appreciated their incredible knowledge base of different types of cuisines and not only willingness but enthusiasm to work with us to incorporate a unique menu/serving style for our big day. La-Tea-Da's was absolutely wonderful! Elizabeth was always quick to return emails and calls. I had a lot of changes and Elizabeth was always very patient with me and offered up suggestions when I felt lost or overwhelmed. We did a tasting and there were a couple of things that we didn't love and she was willing to change up the recipe to my tasting. Very flexible and pricing was reasonable. At the wedding, the creative displays were amazing! I thought that everything would be on platters and chafing dishes but everything was out the box creative and fun. and the food was so amazing! I still have guests who talk about the food and the design of each station. My only challenge was in the beginning it was very hard to get someone to return my calls/emails in order to get initial menu/pricing. I almost gave up but called one more time. After that, Elizabeth was always quick to return my calls and emails. I highly recommend La-Tea-Da's for any of your catering needs!

La Tea Da's is phenomenal. The owner, Janet, was always available when we needed her. Elizabeth was our contact for our wedding. She helped plan an amazing meal and great experience. She was also our day of coordinator. Everything was perfect. I did not stress at all because I knew that Elizabeth would take care of everything. She even made sure that my husband and I ate appetizers and dinner. I recommend La Tea Da's for any event.

La-tea-da's did our rehearsal dinner. It was a simple buffet drop off, but we had one of their bartenders stay to serve beverages. He was wonderful! The food was amazing, especially the shrimp and grits. It was great to have a good meal before my big day.

I absolutely love La-tea-da's. I used them for my wedding and everything was taken care of. Very classy menu. I was married 4 years ago and people still talk about the food when my wedding is brought up. I have used them since then for other events as well. I always receive the same great service and delicious food!

Kelly and Janet @ La-Tea-Da's are so easy and fun and "catered" to my every need! They were really flexible with head counts, changes, and were always quick to offer suggestions and help in unexpected ways! The food was incredible, I received so many compliments, especially on our cocktail hour menu -- Beef Brisket Mini-Tacos w/ Avocado Puree, Tomato Soup Shots w/ Grilled Cheese Wedges (perfect for February!), Pimento Cheese Cones, Chicken Salad Cones (best CS I've ever had) and Mini crabcakes! Yummm... Servers were so nice, and my groom and I had a personal attendant who was in charge of our food and drinks only. Such a nice touch! Really my favorite vendor. PS Had a bad experience with Something Classic, do not bother with them.
