Laughlin Photography

We contracted with Laughlin Photography for my daughter's wedding. Their prices were very reasonable for the wedding package. They are a husband and wife team so you're actually getting two photographers at a good price. We met them at their house and I was a little hesitant at first. Nothing they did, I was just a bit worried about hiring individuals and not some photography studio. They assured me they had plenty of experience. I am so glad we went with them. Joelyn was quick to respond to any and all of my emails. When my daughter scheduled her engagement photos, Joelyn and Doug arrived early at the location. They took fantastic engagement pictures of my daughter and fiance. From that point on, we knew we found the right photographer. On the day of the wedding, we told them what time to be at the church and they arrived a few minutes early (coming from Cypress to Sugar Land). They took great care in getting the correct lighting and poses as my daughter was getting dressed. They never pressure my daughter to pose for anything she didn't want. They took time with the first look pictures and made sure all the family shots were good. If they noticed something wrong, they'd take another photo. At the reception, they took several pictures and honor any guest requests. It was so easy working with them. We actually felt so comfortable with them, we had them eat inside the reception room with all the guests instead of a room reserved for the vendors. I cannot recommend them enough.

Doug and Joelyn were amazing! Not only are they professional, they are personable, and truly care about you and your event. From the initial meeting, my husband and I knew we were in good hands. They honestly made us comfortable in front of the camera. They were able to capture our feelings and the moment we were sharing in our photos. They carefully listened to our vision, and created them wonderfully! They honestly were the best vendor in our wedding. Thank you so much Doug and Joelyn!

Doug and Joelyn were absolutely AMAZING! As a couple, we decided not to have a video shoot and they were both able to capture every detail of our wedding! They were very easy to work with and gave us exactly what we asked for and much more! This fun couple was not only professional but very willing to accommodate to our busy schedule as well. We both absolutely loved our photos and because of that, we are able to re-live the most happiest day of our lives! We have already recommended them to several brides to be and hope that they experience the same wonders that we did with Doug and Joelyn. We look forward to our next photo shoot and we both want to thank them for making our experience wonderful and that much more special!

Doug and Joelyn were wonderful to work with. We did my bridal portraits in May and they made it fun. They gave me advice ahead of time so I came ready. All of the bridal portraits turned out beautiful! Once those were ready Doug and I met so he could give me the portrait and to go over everything for the BIG DAY!!! I felt that they are very organized and knew exactly what to do. They got the guys pictures ahead of time so that after we were able to save some time. They were so delightful to work with, and everyone in the family liked them. If there was a certain picture or pose I wanted they made sure to get it. I have so many amazing pictures to choose from it has been difficult to narrow it down! I will definitely be recommending them to friends. They were part of the wedding package I bought but I am very lucky to have gotten them! :)
