uture amazing memories and beautiful photos. Laura is a great collaborator and works incredibly hard to listen, plan and photograph your vision. Some our favorite photos are from a post wedding canoe ride which was almost thwarted by a locked gate. Laura and her father (also a professional photographer and her assistant) hiked with us down a steep hill to get to the river! An unexpected moment that she helped turn into an amazing memory. She helped prepare us for the day with timeline and planning, and she kept us on track and to roll with the punches when we hit road bumps. I (bride) started to panic when I was running late getting ready, and Laura helped me relax and focus on just reveling in the moment of my wedding day. She is so sweet. Most importantly, her photos are amazing!!! We’re so grateful to have worked with Laura, and love our photos. We couldn't recommend her enough!

It is an absolute pleasure to work with Laura. She is so incredibly caring, thoughtful, thorough, and passionate. She was amazingly detailed in every step of the planning process and on the wedding day itself. On the wedding day, we worked with her, her second photographer (Francisco), and her father (Ronald). The first look we did with them was so beautiful, so perfect. We wish we could relive it! They did fantastic with the family photos, especially given how tricky those can be! Laura had so many great ideas for different shots we could do throughout our venue! Even though staged photos can still be a little weird for us, she did such an amazing job making us feel comfortable and making it fun. We don't have all the photos yet but the preview photos we have received so far are INCREDIBLE! friend. We had a lot of changes during our wedding planning (covid timeline) and we ended up choosing our June 5th 2021 wedding date as it was one of Laura's last available, and I am so glad we did. Not only is Laura an awesome photographer, but she also helps act as wedding-hype-girl and coordinator. We had an engagement photoshoot session with Laura back in October 2020 and it was absolutely gorgeous. She perfectly captured the fall colors along with our personalities and love in the photos. When it came to our wedding day, she absolutely nailed it. She ensured me that if we needed to extend photo time, it would be okay and we'd still have our ceremony on time. She captured our day PERFECTLY (and that's an understatement). We got married at my aunt and uncles beautiful homestead, so the place was very special to us. She captured the magic, the love, the laughter of the day. It was amazing. She does a great job keeping things natural, while taking the photos and while editing them. They don't end up looking like they've been thrown all together and had the same filter added. Laura really speaks to the nature and beauty of the couple and of their surroundings. Hire Laura... SHE IS AMAZING!!!! Kind, sweet, funny, and totally up for adventure and fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her!

made booking a photographer easy and helped diffuse so much of the stress throughout the day. She was so easy to work with, and got a handle on how we’d like our photos to look early in the process, and easily managed multiple shooting locations across downtown, North Loop, St. Anthony Main, and Loring Park. She was also great to work with our families with multiple language barriers and had an easy plan for us to include our dogs in some of the photos. We’d recommend her for any shoot, big or small, but loved how she worked our intimate gathering, managed to get us to laugh in so many photos, and how she engaged with our small family guest list.

our love story to capture what made it special. Laura made our wedding day flow seamlessly while keeping everyone organized and on time. Our long list of detailed photo wants was completely met and kept track of. We wanted Laura's classic editing style that will not date our photos in the years to come, as well as her eye to capture all the little moments throughout the day. Laura completely went above and beyond all day, even into the evening on the dance floor. You will have no regrets if you hire her!

e were on vacation in Minneapolis. I am from Austin, TX and had only visited Minneapolis once, right out of high school. After some basic research I found what I thought was a great spot (my uncle later found a better one). Laura went out to both the original location and the new location after the last-minute change and took photos of where we should stand and where her family could hide to surprise her. Laura was super helpful in scouting the place out. I was blown away by the level of service she provided for such a special day. Second, I want to tell you how great she is day of. As John Steinbeck puts it "The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry. No matter how carefully a project is planned, something may still go wrong with it." That's exactly what happened with our plans. My group, consisting of my Aunt, Uncle, and girlfriend, go to the park well in advance of everyone. Of course I am nervous as hell, and on top of that trying to text everyone where to be and how to meet up was making it 1000% worse. No problem for Laura, she just said I am here for as long as you need and for whatever you need. I was super concerned about that. My fiancee's family and friends were also running late, which put the pressure on me to, a, not blow the surprise (I'm horrible at that), and b, to coordinate with them and my uncle, whom none of them had met, to meet up and then hide for the proposal. Laura and her team never gave up on us and were able to capture some of the best moments of my life! I hope this goes to say whatever you want to book her for you are in great hands. She will go above and beyond to make sure your experience is caught on camera and with you for the rest of your life. Look no further! p.s. Her photography is amazing!

ding, we didn’t need 4+ hours of picture taking or a two person team or most of the other things that are part of a normal wedding photography package. We were just going to the court house and dinner at a restaurant afterwards with 17 people total. Our budget was limited but a good photographer was something I really wanted. When I stumble upon Laura’s web page and saw her work I knew she was the one for the job. I emailed her, and explained what we wanted and if she was able to have us as clients even with a short two weeks notice. Thankfully, she had an opening and was willing to take the job. My husband and I are so happy with her photographs, we truly love every single one of them! Laura is very patient, easy-going, and has such a great vibe that makes you feel so comfortable being in front of the camera. She has great eye for capturing candid moments and is able to create amazing pictures capturing that one special second that makes it real and not still or boring. Laura is so talented that makes the surroundings help in the best way to produce an amazing photograph. Laura responded promptly to my emails, text messages and phone calls, she was very personable and professional. Nosotros solo íbamos a ir al ayuntamiento y luego a cenar a un restaurante, éramos 17 personas en total. Nuestro presupuesto era limitado, pero yo quería un/a buen/a fotógrafo/a. Cuando por casualidad encontré la página web de Laura y vi su trabajo supe que la quería contratar. Le escribí un email explicándole lo que queríamos y si ella tenía cupo para nosotros ya que estábamos a dos semanas de la boda y con suerte si pudo y la contratamos. Mi esposo y yo estamos tan felices con las fotografías que tomó, de verdad nos encanta cada una de ellas. Laura es una persona muy paciente, llevadera y tiene una vibra tan bonita que te hace sentir cómodo/a estando frente a la cámara. Ella tiene un buen ojo para tomar fotografías espontaneas y tienen la habilidad de capturar ese segundo espacial que hace que las fotografías sean reales y no posadas o aburridas. She helped with pinning down the timeline and making sure we were able to get all of the pictures done in the short amount of time we had! She was fun and calm and the pictures are GORGEOUS! so some vendors were pretty hard to get ahold of due to the different time zones. Laura was always willing to chat and calm my nerves even a year before the wedding! She took beautiful engagement photos and made me and my husband feel completely comfortable! I thought he would be the one who was camera shy, but it was actually me who had that problem! I was so nervous having someone I didn’t know take my picture. Since Laura took the time to get to know us on the phone and during our engagement shoot, our wedding pictures turned out perfectly! She knew what we wanted, our best angles, and how to make us laugh and let go! I can honestly say that we will be using her to take our monumental pictures moving forward (anniversary, babies, etc). If you’re considering having Laura take pictures for any event, do it! You won’t regret it!

She did our engagement and wedding photos. Neither of us are super comfortable in front of the camera, but Laura gave us prompts and games which resulted in great photos where we looked natural and like ourselves. After the wedding, a number of guests made comments to me about how nice Laura was and how well she worked amongst everyone, not being overly intense about getting shots, but melded in with everyone and went with the flow. All of our photos turned out SO well. I feel like she really captured who we are as a couple. I’d definitely recommend her!!
