To say Laura was the best doesn’t even begin to describe great she is. The day of my wedding Tropical Storm Ophelia rolled in and I spent my morning crying that my day would be ruined. Laura came in and changed the whole day around for me. She went and took pictures of my ceremony space just to show me how beautiful it was. She encouraged and hyped me up the entire day. Your wedding day is supposed to be the most perfect day and mine was imperfectly perfect in large part to Laura. She captured amazing photos and you can’t even tell there was a storm that day. When weather permitted we dashed outside for quick pictures and when weather didn’t permit she came up creative and beautiful plan B’s. Laura is the absolute best and I think every bride would be lucky to have her as their photographer and be by their side on such a special day. Ps. Laura is also just as excited as you are to see the pics she had 20 something pictures sent to me for a sneak peek literally on the way to the after party the night of.

There are no words to describe our time with Laura other than perfection. From our first FaceTime meeting, we knew Laura was the right photographer for us. Her zest for life, love for love, and especially her love for dogs drew us in!! My husband and I are both awkward in front of cameras and between her and our videographers, we were beyond comfortable and just having a good time. Laura created a wedding timeline that assisted not only with photos but also helped us shape the rest of our day. And the night of the wedding we received MANY sneak peek pictures from her, to which I screamed at the moment I received her text😂 Her eye for a moment to capture is impeccable and we were amazed at the shots we received so far. As soon as we picked a date for our wedding, we immediately reached out to Laura to book, and we truly would have picked a new wedding date if she wasn’t available. Laura is absolutely the best — not only are her photos completely stunning, but she goes above and beyond for her couples and their loved ones! During the wedding, one of my friends even asked if Laura was a family friend or something because she “felt like an old friend” and was so fun for us all to spend the day with. There’s only one thing to say about Laura – HIRE HER! We were so blessed to find Laura for our wedding photography! Laura is the complete package – professional, enthusiastic, creative, and truly a wonderful person. We used Laura for both our engagement sessions and our day of photography. Neither my fiancé or I is very comfortable in front of a camera. Laura brings such a skill in her sessions to make you feel comfortable and confident. Not only is Laura a phenomenal photographer, but she is your HYPE WOMAN on your wedding day. Vibes were immaculate, her and Leah (His and Hers Productions- videographer) make a fantastic team and truly make you feel like you’ve been besties for years. We never wanted to leave our sunset photo shoot on our wedding night because we were having too much fun. Laura sent us a few photo sneak peeks the same evening (how does she do it) and the photos made us cry- they are immaculate. Laura is hands down AMAZING!!!! She is one of the first vendors we picked and by far my favorite. Her style of shooting is dynamic, vibrant yet soft, and soo beautiful!! Screaming crying over how obsessed I am with Laura. We got scammed by a photographer and by the wedding gods grace, laura was available and we booked her 2.5 weeks before our wedding. Laura was my absolute favorite vendor we hired for our wedding and I cannot say enough good things about her! We got married at Terrain Gardens in August 2021, but had to postpone from our August 2020 date. From our very first phone call, Laura just had such a great personality and was so supportive and helpful. When we had to postpone, she was so understanding and made that process super easy for us. We did our engagement shoot with her and it honestly felt like she was a friend from the very beginning. She gave us back our engagement photos SUPER fast and we were blown away by the photos! We hired Laura for our wedding on July 16th, 2021 and wow I don’t even know where to begin! Laura is unbelievable, truly unmatched! From the very beginning, Laura immediately became someone I knew I would call a friend. We were a Covid wedding supposed to be married in July 2020 and Laura was so supportive throughout the entire process. She is always quick to respond and truly listens to what you’re saying. I CANNOT recommend Laura enough for your wedding day. While we did not have an engagement session with her, I felt as if we were friends in a past life. When I started looking for photographers I knew that I was going to splurge because photos are the one true thing that lives on from your wedding day. As a washed up art student and journalism major, I needed someone who will capture our wedding exactly how I envisioned it. I cannot begin to say how fortunate I feel to have Laura as our photographer for the big day. We recently had our engagement shoot with her, which I was very nervous for. I am somewhat awkward in front of the camera, and was pretty nervous for the shoot. Laura made me feel SO comfortable and was the best coach the whole way. She got our sneak peek back to us within hours after the shoot (which we LOVED) and all of the photos edited and ready-to-go about a week later. Laura is the best and extremely hard working! She photographed for us twice as we had a micro wedding followed by our full wedding a year later. She worked her schedule out when covid abruptly changed everyone’s plans. I like that Laura has her own style and doesn’t lighten the photos so much like a lot of other wedding pics I see. When the day arrives, she is basically your wedding coordinator too and goes over the timeline that was set in advance. It happened to be down pouring on our day, but Laura was able to get amazing umbrella shots in-between downpours and I’m literally so obsessed with them! She treats you like a friend making you feel calm and her photos will make you feel like a model! And if you don’t know how to pose, don’t worry she will tell you what you what to do. Laura is AMAZING! We truly cannot thank her and her second shooter enough for capturing our beautiful day. I will forever be in Laura Briggs’ debt for how amazing of a photographer she is! Seriously brides, look no further for someone to capture your wedding day, or any other day for that matter. Laura was exactly what I wanted and needed. As soon as I met her when I was deciding on a photographer, I knew she was the perfect match to capture mine and my husband’s special day. She drove out of her way more than once to meet me at coffee shops/ cafes to really get to know me and the vision I had for when I got married. We did an engagement shoot a few months before the wedding, and as soon as we started taking pictures, I knew that I made the right chose in choosing Laura. She has the best creative eye and will stop at nothing to get the perfect shot. You can so easily tell that she loves what she does! Laura is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I first saw Laura’s work when she did a friend of a friend’s engagement photos and I fell in love with her photo style and use of natural light. From there I met Laura in person and that really sealed the deal! Laura brings such high energy and positivity with her that you need her on your wedding day! She first shot our engagement photos, where she made my fiancée and I instantly comfortably and my fiancée does not like being a model either! We were smiling and laughing the whole time. oh my god, it is extremely difficult to put into words how AMAZING Laura is. We met Laura through our friends wedding and from the first moment we spoke with her we knew she was who we wanted to work with. We scheduled our engagement photos and were both feeling quite awkward before the shoot and she immediately made us feel comfortable. The session went from us feeling nervous to being fun and the results of the pictures were amazing. She quickly became more than our photographer and felt like a life long friend. Her energy is unmatched. She is extremely professional and it shows that she loves her job. We had to reschedule our wedding three times due to COVID19 and Laura was more than helpful and there for us throughout all of the craziness. When we finally settled on our date of 5/8/21 she was originally booked with another couple, but lucky for us that couple postponed and she immediately texted us saying she was available. We both sighed a relief because neither of us could imagine our wedding day without her. We were finally able to go through with our wedding this past weekend and all of our friends and family have said how amazing she was to work with along with her back up shooter, Lauren. Working with Laura was one of the most magical parts of our wedding. She is so kind, fun, organized, communicative, professional, and her turn around time for sneak peek photos was unreal. We were blessed enough to have her not only at our “backyard” small (covid) family wedding but also AGAIN at our July wedding. She has gone over and beyond to make things perfect for both days. My first wedding in October was shot and edited perfectly and I can’t wait to have her be apart of second big day. I will forever recommend Laura as the BEST wedding photographer. Where do I even begin?! From the moment my husband and I met Laura we INSTANTLY knew she was going to be our engagement AND wedding photographer. I’m not sure if it was her up beat & energetic attitude or her beaming personality and true love for the job that made us realize she was the perfect fit for our wedding. Between our engagement shoot and wedding it was two years. Laura was absolutely perfect in every way for our elopement!! We postponed our reception and decided to elope and she captured every photo perfectly! She also took the time to visit potential parks to help us visualize photos and plan out our elopement! She was so responsive and helpful the entire process. And let me tell you this process was so crazy! We planned this elopement during the pandemic so we were already struggling to get permits and a marriage license, and then on top of that we had a tropical storm the day of the elopement. Laura was so calming and flexible the full day of the elopement. She was ready for anything to help us! We were able to get maybe 15 min of no rain to exchange vows and it rained the rest of the time, but the photos came out so beautiful!! Laura has shot our engagement, elopement and next year will also do our formal wedding. We can’t recommend Laura enough as a photographer, she literally is the BEST!!

Laura was absolutely UNREAL to have by my side on our wedding day. We probably had the worst weather of the winter season on our wedding day. Despite the rain, sleet, and hail - Laura kept me calm, kept us on schedule and managed our wedding party and family effortlessly. Omg where to begin! Laura is the sweetest person and so incredibly talented. She understands exactly what you want within 5 minutes of speaking with her and brings forward new ideas. She made us feel so comfortable and not look awkward at all in any of the photos. She is super fun to hang out with so it just feels like you are working with your best friend. Wedding date: November 15, 2019. We were actually put in touch with Laura by a photographer we initially contacted but turned out to not be available for our date. Talk about the best referral we could have received! From the very beginning, Laura made us feel as though we and our wedding were important to her. It was almost hard to believe through the process that she had other events going on because she was consistently so invested and attentive to our requests, questions and event. One of my favorite parts was our phone call about two months out where we discussed what was important to us as a couple and what vibe we wanted captured at our wedding. She also requested a detailed list of portraits we wanted. There was so much communication in all the time leading up to our wedding and Laura never left us hanging, responding always in a very timely manner. Wedding day: Laura and her backup photographer, Emily, were both fantastic. They worked together to make very sure that they were capturing everything as we had requested, while also making sure we were able to break off and enjoy our day. Laura made everything so comfortable and easy for us and never made it seem like we were on any kind of schedule or what to follow a rule book. Everything flowed beautifully and I will never forget dancing with my friends and family and looking over to see Laura joining us for “The Wobble.” She was so actively a part of our day and has a winning personality that fit right in with all of us. Getting our pictures back: within 48 hours, we had a sneak peak. And it seemed like A TON of photos! I couldn’t even imagine that she had more to send us. Then the final gallery came. Oh my goodness, did these ladies capture our day better than we could have imagined! The photos just seemed never ending and she managed to get everything we asked for and so much more. I even printed some to send along with some of our thank yous that I knew some attendees would love to have. My husband and I are so happy to have worked with Laura! Let me start off by saying how thankful I am we found Laura! When we met up for the first time at a little local coffee shop I knew I wanted her to be my photographer for my wedding. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. Not only was her work absolutely wonderful, but her personality was exactly what I needed. Sweet, firm, encouraging, and motivational. The photographer was one of the top things that needed to be perfect, so I was determined to find someone I really connected with and loved their personality. Laura and her assistant were really the perfect photographers. Laura even came out a few months before the wedding to scope out the venue. All of the other reviews are 100% right - Laura is awesome! Her work is beautiful, and thoughtful - her love for her job is evident in every shot. The photos from our wedding are perfect. As a person, Laura is warm, friendly, patient, and understanding. From our first meeting, I knew Laura would be amazing to work with! We are not "picture people" and opted not to do an engagement shoot. Laura didn't push or try to upsell us, which was so wonderful. (In retrospect, I wish we had done it.) We're also not really comfortable being the center of attention, but Laura and Emily (second shooter) made us feel so comfortable, and at ease the day of our wedding. And that was such a gift. I can't recommend Laura enough. She really is amazing.

LAURA YOU ARE AMAZING. I could not be happier with my choice in photographer. Guests at my wedding LOVED these energetic ladies! A few guests at my wedding thought that they were my friends as well as my photo/video team, which was awesome because they were so friendly they made me feel as though we were friends also! They made us feel amazing as they were snapping photos and taking video, which was awesome for us since we don’t always love getting photos taken. She had our photos back to us in a very short time, and the results were fabulous. Seriously thinking about hiring her again for any photo need in the future!!

Our complete photos we got back in 3 weeks, which compared to a lot of other weddings I’ve been a part of is just amazing. Our pictures are absolutely perfect. I go through them and relive that day all over again. They are beautiful and capture our personalities so perfectly. The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Laura. Laura did our wedding photos and we are so in love with every single one! It was a hundred degrees on my wedding day, so there was a lot of sweat, but you'd never know from how flawless our photos look! Laura even brought blotting papers to keep me looking fresh! :) Laura is an absolute professional!
