We felt relaxed and informed about what our photography plan would be throughout the entire process. She did such an amazing job that my mom in law also used Laura for our rehearsal dinner. Our photos are so stunning and it is amazing to have consistency across all of our special events. On top of all of this Laura is just HILARIOUS and FUN to work with. Laura made sure to keep me relaxed and laughing through our busy day. She worked really well with our other vendors. I never had a moment of stress - I am amazed by how many little details she captured. JUST BOOK HER, LAURA ROCKS!

Laura is someone who makes you feel at ease right away and ensures that none of your photos look staged or stiff and can capture very stunning candids - she's also a ton of fun and can get you and your partner laughing and actually ENJOY and fully take in your day. We highly recommend Laura as a vendor that is professional, fun, and can absolutely provide you high-quality, beautiful photos for your wedding.

If you want pictures of memories/an outline of your day, from bridal party pictures to groomsmen pictures, family, you name it, DO NOT use her. If you want all of your photos released to you, DO NOT use her. If you want a photographer who is readily available/easy to get ahold of, DO NOT use her. I am highly disappointed in Laura’s service and pictures. She is extremely hard to get ahold of, she has way too much on her plate to prioritize her weddings, and she missed out on pictures from the BIGGEST moments of our day. With the amount of $$ we spent (her most expensive package) I was not expecting what we got. Our wedding was in September and we are still struggling dealing with Laura, now we have to wait on albums, with pictures we hate, which at this point, I bet are going to take about 2 years. All you fiancés out there, fooled by her charm, STAY CLEAR!!!!!

Laura documented our entire day, from breakfast at our favorite cafe and picking up flowers from the market to getting ready, the ceremony, vin d'honneur, and the late night reception. She captured hundreds of amazing moments throughout the day and goes the extra mile for the perfect shot (she climbed a 500-year-old wall to get an aerial view and was eaten alive by mosquitos for a forest shot). She also goes beyond photographing the day. Laura put together a minute by minute schedule for the day, kept everything running smoothly, and kept everyone calm when a few things didn't go as planned. I can't imagine what our wedding day would have been like without her steering us and perfecting so many behind the scenes details.

capture a mass quantity of photo memories. When I first Skyped with Laura, I knew she was someone that was so easy to get along with, and her personality was infectious. Her pricing was higher than most photographers I looked at, BUT I could not put a cap on the quality I was looking for with my wedding photos and hired her immediately (I also had a raving recommendation from a co-worker, which sent me her direction in the first place). She has alot of experience. She's not just a photographer that does weddings, she is a WEDDING photographer. Her portfolio and journal on her website are full of proof that she has the artistic ability to capture unique, candid photos that you'll treasure forever. I received countless compliments on the photos she captured for our Engagement Photo Session, and can't wait to see what she's captured on our wedding day! Prior to our wedding, she provided a wedding questionnaire that helped extensively with our wedding planning. I did not have a wedding planner - but, was able to get away with it EASILY with her help and organization! I literally built my day-of schedule around the schedule she gave me, so planning was easy. Having just worked with her during our wedding a week ago, I can vouch that she was was punctual, stayed on-schedule, and was a PLEASURE to work with the day of our wedding. Working with Laura didn't feel like a vendor I hired for the wedding - more like an extremely talented friend. We had fun - she captured all the photos I wanted, and stayed through all of our reception events and a few songs on the dance floor. I am so happy we chose to invest in Laura for our big day, and can only say positive things about the extremely talented artist that she is. -Sarah Rhein

e second most expensive one ($5950) which includes “unlimited coverage from the moment you get ready until the last dance” but she explained during a meeting with my wife that she’s usually leaves when people are drunk/start to leave. In our case, she chose to leave at 10pm while our party was still kicking until 12am. We lost a lot of pictures opportunities like our last dance. Another thing, we had around 250 guests and Laura comes by her self. With all due respect, one person cannot split herself between all the pre-wedding events, the hundreds of different guests, etc. and we lost a lot of good memories. For examples, she was busy with us after the ceremony while the cocktail hour was going on so we received barely any decent cocktail hour photos. She’s didn’t take any photos of guests at the tables. Even minimal photos of special party members like moms. No pictures of probably 40% of our guests. Just to compare I’ve just been to a friend’s wedding and they had 5 photographers for half the amount of guests that we had and paid 1/2 as much for photo, video and magnets and the pictures of good quality. Last thing, it took her a long time to send us the pictures, and then we received only around 300 pictures. I voiced concerns, she coughed up around 200 more which makes you wonder why the hell she didn’t give us all the photos in the first place. I mean, you pay for the rights to them! The package we chose also comes with an album. A year later, we’re still waiting to get it. She’s always busy and promised me by the end of September 2018 we’ll get our pdf to approve but we’re still waiting. If you’re looking for art pictures she’s the one, if you’re looking for memories you better keep searching.

I was awe-struck when I saw them. She captured every detail and every moment authentically and exquisitely. Laura may be a single person, but she's a ninja who doesn't miss a beat. olutely the BEST decision we could have made. We had a blast chatting for hours upon first meeting her, and her quirky nature is delightful. She is a pleasure to work with, and what's even more amazing is her professionalism and attentiveness. She was an amazing guide for us planning out our day-of wedding schedule, and provided incredible suggestions for engagement photo locations (including taking sunrise instead of sunset photos!). On the wedding day, she stealthily captured the most wonderful little details and vignettes, and captured the mood perfectly. ll of our favorite spots in Chicago. She was able to capture our love and precious moments with our fuzzy puppy daughter, Squashy! She went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests and made sure that we were satisfied with the shoot. It can definitely be awkward having someone you don't know take your picture, Laura made us feel comfortable right away and there was not dull moments!
