uals via FaceTime when we were in lockdown. (At that moment we knew we were going to hire her when we eloped, even though we weren’t even engaged yet!) Fast forward two years to 2022, Laura traveled to the North Shore of Oahu to capture our intimate elopement. When we got to Jumanji at Kualoa Ranch, it was down pouring between the peaks in the valley. Not once did she bat an eye on the weather or what could happen with her gear’. Again, she pivoted, she showed up, her heart beaming for us, and captured us in our truest form. At 34 weeks pregnant, she captured our maternity photographs in the West Village, again moments that we literally are hanging on our walls and have in print books. As a photographer myself, the ability to pivot and adapt is not easy and there was not one moment that Laura allowed either one of us to feel doubt or worry on our days. She has a heart of gold and truly knows how to make you feel your best self, while Being yourself. And literally makes you feel like you’re just hanging out the entire time. The way she posed us but cued us into giving those poses emotions is something I am forever grateful for. I knew instantly that she was a fit — she has an incredible eye for composition and manages to capture images on the fly that look like they belong in a magazine. She's incredibly sweet, pleasant, reliable, and talented, plus her second shooter was a doll! of getting to know. From the engagement shoot to our wedding day, Laura made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the shots she got were pure magic. We couldn’t wait to work with her because she captures those in between moments, those special, heartfelt, candid moments that not a lot of people have an eye for. Sadly, my dad passed away one month after my wedding but somehow Laura got the most intimate photos of my dad watching the ceremony. Those photos now mean so much to me and my family and there aren’t enough thank you’s to say how grateful we are. Our wedding was affected by Covid and dates changed around a couple of times throughout the year but Laura was always extremely accommodating and made us feel confident that not matter what happened, our day would work out. Her artistry and creativity resulted in some of the most GORGEOUS golden hour/sunset first look photos on our wedding day. The best thing is when she hypes you up while doing the shoots with a “oh my goshhh are you kidding?!” or a “yassss”, haha, I loved it! I wanted to use Laura! Even before booking my date I wanted to make sure she was available. She is one of the sweetest & most talented people. We first did an engagement photo shoot and every picture was so gorgeous! Leading up to the wedding she was always there to help with any questions I had about style and details. I felt like we were never going to find anyone good enough, but when I stumbled on Laura's work on Instagram I was captivated by her artistry from the first glance and was praying that my husband would love it as much as I did. She's quick to send initial teasers which will leave you wanting the final album immediately. The following two months were agonizing to say the least. Laura is a beautiful person inside and out. She's very personable and made us feel comfortable as if we were just strolling around the city taking pictures with a friend during our engagement. During the wedding she made sure we got the group shots we wanted and the sunset balcony shots we were hoping for. The weather was not playing nice that day but Laura did an excellent job of capturing the feel regardless. Let Laura do her thing. Trust us. The end results are nothing short of breathtaking.

My venue had some restrictions regarding flower petals/confetti and sparklers, I voiced my concerns for this and Laura gave great advice on how to still get those pictures I wanted. She provided me with a day of timeline which gave me a good idea of how my day would look like and what to consider. She's there for you if you have any questions along the way. Laura gave suggestions on a rain plan and also where she felt lighting would be best. On the big day, somehow she was by my side talking to me like a friend, and also taking beautiful candid photos without us even realizing. f what I would like the photography style to be, but had zero concept of where to begin my search. I found a site called Thumbtack, and Laura was one of the 5 photographers that provided me details of their wedding package along with their website. After looking through Laura’s work, I was immediately in love and overall awestruck with her pictures. I thought to myself that finding a photographer CANNOT be this quick or easy, so I did my due diligence and looked into other options. But every single time I just kept coming back to Laura’s website to re-look at her work. The raw emotion that Laura captures is absolutely unparalleled to any other photographers I’ve found. Besides Laura being unbelievably talented, she’s also an overall amazing person. There was 6 months left until our wedding, I was feeling the stress and angst of all the details surrounding planning, and I get a secret package in the mail from Laura.I really can’t explain how much that little pick me up meant. I told Laura, during one of our many many conversations throughout the year and a half planning process, that I felt like she wasn’t even a “vendor” and more of a friend. I couldn’t wait to introduce her to my family and friends and felt lucky knowing she would be right by my husband and my side during the entire day. If you want someone who is going to capture intimate moments and not just poses, and if you want someone who will portray the story of your wedding day with irreplaceable photographs, you should choose Laura. Ten years down the road, I know that looking at our wedding photos will spark all the emotions that we felt on that day to come flooding back and I have Laura to thank for that.

hough Laura’s Instagram and immediately fell in love with her style and emotions that she captures in every picture I wasn’t even engaged at the time and I started showing my boyfriend (now husband) her pictures and he too could not get over how unique and beautiful Laura’s pictures were! Once we got engaged there was no question who we wanted as our photographer for our big day! Laura was extremely easy to talk to and it honestly felt like I was chatting with one of my girlfriends every time we talked. On the day of the wedding Laura was just as wonderful as I thought she would be if not more she captured the day in a way that I will honestly cherish forever. As a bride you kind of are in a cloud on your wedding day and it’s hard recall parts of the day but Laura’s pictures bring back every feeling and emotion that I felt or may have missed! My husband and I were married almost 7 months ago now and each time we look at the pictures we still feel a rush of emotions like we are living the day again, I don’t believe all photographers capture that. photographer. Post wedding laziness is real. But, as for Laura, she is anything but lazy. From the very first email inquiring about possibly hiring her for our engagement shoot, she was attentive, accessible, knowledgeable, professional, reasonable, kind and all on top of it all, undeniable talented. I would've hired her based on her talent alone, but all of the extra highlights were truly what made having her be a part of our day and memories all worth every penny. No matter how many brides she may have, she made me feel as if my wedding was still as important to her as it was to me. She didn't judge when I complained about wedding stresses in emails, and she talked through my day of coordination confusion with me on multiple occasions. It goes without saying that hiring someone and knowing that the exact person you've been talking to for months is who will show up on your day is a huge plus when booking vendors. But Laura is definitely more than just a vendor because of how involved and in touch she is with you personally. I trusted her completely. She's also no nonsense, in the best ways. The typical vendor traps do not exist here. She's honest and straightforward and I don't think would even think of playing games or being deceitful at any stage of the process. This part all goes without saying, but it's something I appreciated greatly. As for her work, it is breathtaking, always. I studied photography, graduated with a degree in it, currently work in creative, and I still cannot figure out how she does what she does. She says that she gets the 'in between moments' and for me, those turned out to be the moments I didn't even realize were happening. To receive our photos and see those little after thoughts and how beautifully they told the story of our day, was absolutely priceless. My gratitude is endless. I could go on all day. Hire her. Appreciate what she does. And put your trust in that she will deliver more than was was promised. We now have hundreds of images that I want to hang on our walls, that aren't stereotypical, but that are us, and our day, and truly reflect how much love we squeezed into a 5 hour wedding, and how much love my husband I spent 7 years building upon.

s is literally who Laura is and she will put her heart and soul into your wedding, no matter who you are. First of all, we would have paid 5x what Laura charges to have her as our photographer. A lot of photographers of her calibur DO charge at least twice as much as she does. More importantly, Laura doesn't just send you her contract, collect a deposit, and show up on your wedding day. She is THERE, throughout your entire wedding planning process, like a bonus bridesmaid. Somehow in the midst of all of her other brides, she remembers specific details you mention about your wedding, and will send you pictures or links to anything that reminds her of you, or that you might like. When I dropped the ball on so many planning details, (from not having a makeup artist 3 weeks prior, to completely fotgetting to buy sparklers for our sparkler exit, in a state where they're illegal to sell outside of July), she swooped in and saved the day, every single time, making the impossible happen. But most importantly - her photos. Oh the photos. You guys - Laura has a way of bringing out the natural beauty of every bride, every venue, every floral arrangement she captures - every single tiny detail - without masking it in photography trends that so many photographers do right now. Her photos are timeless. Her attention to detail in my getting ready shots were more than I could have asked for. Her creative eye is incomparable - she's also an interior design student so I'm guessing this comes into play in her creative genius. Our reception/dancing shots are SO much fun. All of the photos, really, are just amazing. She constantly made my husband and me (throughout all of our pre-wedding photoshoots, and our wedding) feel so comfortable and at ease while taking photos, and it truly shows in the photos. At the end of the day, Laura was the one vendor we had that we never second-guessed and that we were so grateful for every single day. Looking through all the shots she captured from my wedding day has left me truly speechless. Laura not only got the shots that I had asked for, but captured the smallest details that I had somehow overlooked myself. I simply cannot pick a favorite photo because I love them all so much! But working with Laura felt more like working with a friend - she was an extra ear for me throughout the planning process and for that I’m so grateful. My favorite parts of our album (although the whole thing is a work of art) is that you can FEEL the day. I mean how often do you get photos that make you FEEL all the things?! It’s rare. She caught those in between moments, the ones that mattered most, the ones where real life happens. I cannot recommend Laura enough. If you’re on the fence about choosing a photographer just book her, you won’t regret it.

I were looking at all of our wedding photos, we were blown away at how Laura perfectly captured special moments not only between us, but between our family and friends celebrating our love with us. Laura has a very special eye for things which are gorgeously portrayed in her photos. She will make Pinterest jealous of your wedding. o long but I'm glad we did). So I did a little Instagram stalking, photographers only follow photographers they like right? And there I found Laura! Her work speaks for itself! All her shots are warm and real! But Laura herself is a true gem! She's such a beautiful person and truly cares not only about her work but about her clients! From someone who has an anxiety disorder I was anxious about everything wedding related BUT our photography! Laura was there for all my silly questions and a lifesaver when I didn't have a makeup artist 2 weeks before the wedding! Even when I didn't have questions she sent me tips and ideas. She wanted to know what my dress looked like, she wanted to hear more about our details. She asked realistic questions that I didn't even think of. She's not someone that just shows up the day of to take photos. Before our engagement shoot I was so anxious, gained 20 pounds and almost wanted to cancel because I looked 5 months pregnant. When we met Laura she just said do your thing I'll just be here... what? She allowed us just to be us and all my nerves went away! We were running around Williamsburg with our dog and crazy ideas! After my fiancé even said "wow, she made me feel so good" Three days later we get our sneak peeks and I cried! Our poor family spent Christmas looking at all of our photos because I couldn't just pick a few that I loved! I also hired Laura for a boudoir shoot! I mean I did lose that weight but I'm no model! I had about 3 shots picked out but thats about it! Laura worked her magic and two hours in and I didn't even realize I was mostly naked and our time was almost up! Our last few minutes she asked if I was comfortable getting water on me and took the most amazing shots, where you can see drops coming down my breasts! It was both my finances and my favorite! I would've never thought of that! She made me feel so confident! Again I wanted to show those pictures to the world because they were THAT AMAZING!!! Everyone said it was the right amount of sexy and classy. I made my husband a 64 page album with those! They were so good every other photo was blown up into 2 pages! On our wedding day we had a second shooter Beth who was also great, of course she wouldn't just bring anyone! I asked Beth to go with my fiancé and asked Laura to be with me. I trusted her to give me honest opinions and help ease my mind. She didn't know but I actually NEEDED her to do so cause it was hectic on my end. Just having her there helped me. She was truly my lifesaver and after knowing her for over a year it just felt like I had another bridesmaid by my side (without the headache haha). We haven't gotten our full gallery yet but we got a nice amount of sneak peeks! And I know they'll be just as amazing as our engagement shot and boudoir! No doubt about it. I'm at ease knowing that good work takes time! And these are moments we'll have forever! I cant wait to spend another Christmas showing our photos off! haha I could go on and on about Laura, clearly! But if you're looking to hire a photographer Laura is your girl. I cant recommend her enough! She'll definitely be my girl for life!

enny. Every picture she takes is with her heart and mind. Not only did I have a huge wedding party she had to deal with the crazy heat we got that day all with the Caos of a few wedding disasters. She did everything with a smile on her face and was so accomadting. I never cried so much going through pictures in my life. My husband and I got to relive our big day thanks to Laura! The day after my wedding almost everyone i had talked to had something to say about Laura (all positive obviously!) and could not get over how professional and amazing she was! Also one last thing, the fact she was able to get surreal pictures of my 6 month old wild skwirmy daughter at the time some with even a smile on her face says a lot! If you want someone trusting and there to help you with anything you need (even things besides photography she was so ready to help with anything/ she was almost like my day of wedding coordinator to say the least!) then absolutely book Laura for your wedding! I promise you will be far from disappointed!

uld have changed my date. I'm serious. I first found Laura's Instagram when I was in interior design school and she had taken the course prior to me. I admit I silently stalked her talent and her designs- which inspired me so much. She started to post more and more photography and I fell in love with the moodiness and all of the emotions captured in each photo. Laura is not a generic wedding photographer.. she gets the overlooked moments...the moments that you rarely see captured. When you look at Laura's photos you can FEEL them. She calmed me during our engagement shoot when my dress was not cooperating and she made us feel so comfortable. My now husband and I left the shoot saying she is DEFINITELY shooting our wedding. During my wedding she kept everything together. She's a sweet angel. So calm and caring. Less than a week after my wedding she sent us sneak peeks and they took everyone's breath away. I am so grateful that I will have gorgeous heirlooms of our wedding. Precious moments I can cherish forever, thanks to Laura.

into my life a little over a year before my wedding, we were actually shooting a campaign for The Knot. A mutual friend recommended her, so I figured I would try her out. THANK GOODNESS I DID! I basically hired her on the spot for our wedding, before I even saw how the images turned out. Of course they were nothing short of amazing. Her warm rapport, genius creativity and dedication is truly unmatched in the field and you can spend hours scrolling through her portfolio. I know because I did, many times! But how amazing and talented Laura was doesn't stop there because she wasn't just my photographer, she turned into my best friend and wedding consultant. Something she didn't have to sign up for, but she did without even a question. I had 10 bridesmaids, and there was no one I chatted with more throughout the wedding planning process than Laura. We chatted about everything and every little detail. Laura was always there, and I trusted her opinion on everything. Looking back, we must have sent a million messages, bouncing ideas back and fourth whether it was text messages, ideas from Pinterest or DMing wedding pictures on Instagram! The point of the matter is, she truly cares about her clients and is a helping hand in being there to make the day as amazing as it can be. The weekend of the wedding, Laura arrived early Friday for a complete walk through of all our venues. We talked out the timeline and she suggested so many ways to edit it to make sure we had enough time for each shot that I didn't even think about! Her expertise is incredible. The day of the wedding was nothing short of amazing. I wish this text box was big enough to list them all out, but just know she comes prepared for everything and any situation. I'm sure once I hit submit I'll think of 100 more things to add of ways she made the experience as amazing as I could be. Just know, Laura really elevated the entire engagement and wedding experience, and beautifully documented every single moment. She's more than a wedding photographer. If I could go back, I would hire her again in a heartbeat for my wedding and have and will recommend her to ANYONE. All my love! xx

and was so thankful the dates worked out. I love the aesthetic of her work - her images capture emotion, fun, beauty in a way that didn't feel too posed and it as just want I wanted (and more). Leading up to the wedding she was incredible in answering all my questions, helping to set up the flow for the day of, was a sounding board to bounce ideas off, helped me find my make-up artist, and even talked through lip-colors with me for the big day. She answers emails and messages super fast and I appreciated that so much. On the day of, Laura and her second photographer were sweet, fun, professional, kind, and truly fantastic. I remember her reminding me to stay hydrated and leaving me with a little drink mix pack to make sure I did. I had really high expectations for my images based on looking at her work for the last year or so and they were far exceeded! I would recommend Laura a million times over! She is an amazing photographer, person, and strives to make her clients feel special and happy.

and I are not people who loves posing for photos and we were looking for a more photojournalist approach with more candid shots of our most intimate moments. Laura did just that. She was super helpful and available from the moment I sent her a request in October to the end of our wedding night in July. We are so in love with our pictures and our friends have commented on how beautiful they turned out and have inquired on how I found such an amazing photographer to come all the way to the Catskills! I highly recommend Laura, not only because she is an amazing photographer and super easy to work with, she is also the sweetest person and makes you feel so comfortable during what can be a very stressful time.
