Laura Ink Photography

I was struck by how "real" the photos were - clearly capturing the love and personalities of the couple. Several years later my husband and I reached out to see if Laura was available to photograph our own wedding and when we met her we knew she had to be our photographer! She was kind, professional, and genuinely wanted to get to know us. Every time we chatted with Laura we felt more at ease and more confident that photography was going to be one less thing we needed to worry about. She kept us organized, made thoughtful recommendations, and checked in to see how we were throughout the entire wedding planning process. Our engagement shoot with Laura was an absolute BLAST and the photos are some we'll cherish forever. We were nervous as neither of us had done professional photography before, but Laura made us feel comfortable and kept it light and fun. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and went off without a hitch, I know in a large part due to Laura's calming presence and humor, organization, and preparation. We were blown away when we received our wedding photos. Laura captured all the big and small moments of the day, and each photo brings us back to the feelings we felt in that moment. Book Laura NOW! You will not regret it!

was so communicative and helpful. She started every meeting with "So first, tell me how are you doing and what can I do to help you". We did our engagement shoot with Laura in cloudy and kind of rainy weather. The pictures we received back were out of this world. She made us feel so comfortable and kept us laughing the whole time. The day of the wedding Laura's presence was so calming. She helped keep the show running which was what I needed. Again, she kept us laughing and having fun during couple pictures even when things may be awkward. While I just had my wedding and have not received my gallery yet, but I could not WAIT to come write a review about working with Laura. I know the pictures I will receive are going to blow me away. I definitely recommend booking with Laura for wedding, engagement shoots, family shoots, any pictures you need!!!!!

photos and we can't say enough good things about her and her talent. After we filled out our questionnaire for our engagement photos, she had the best ideas on where to take them and what to incorporate in them. Then, leading up to our wedding, she was kind, professional, and easy-going during our zoom meetings. Our wedding photos came out more beautiful than I could have imagined and not to mention, Laura's turnaround time is incredible! We are so lucky to have had Laura capturing our truly magical day.

s. She uses all her wedding knowledge to help you plan the best day! Her help with timelines, additional vendors, and general wedding tips made our day perfect! Her photos are so stunning and capture the day to a tee. Laura is so great at working with family, friends, and the venue to make sure NO stress is added to the bride and groom. The photos themselves were edited beautifully and given back so quickly! Book Laura!! You won’t regret it!!!!

and helped prepare us as we were about to embark on the crazy year long wedding planning journey! Immediately we felt like we were in good hands, and we were absolutely correct. Throughout the entire process, Laura was like our advisor, confidante, and planner, keeping us on track and assured that everything was going smoothly. She felt more like a trusted friend to us than anything else, and we are so appreciative to have had her there. Above all else, Laura is an unbelievably talented photographer and artist. I was very apprehensive and nervous to be in front of the camera, but the minute she started working I forgot all about it. She brought our personalities and smiles in every photo, and I could not be happier with how they turned out. She is a consummate professional, and didn’t bat an eyelash when she had to wrangle our dozens of family members, or when my venue lost power because of a storm. She was calm, cool, collected, and happy throughout it all, and that in turn made us feel so happy and confident too. I could say a million more things, but above all – Laura is the best, and we’ll forever thank her for making our wedding so magical and perfect.

with Laura. The second we came across Laura's work we fell in love. When we had our initial call with her we immediately knew we wanted to work with her. Even though we just met her, she made us feel like old friends. She has such a calming and upbeat presence which was perfect since my husband and I were anxious about being in front of the camera. Laura helped make us feel so comfortable. She can capture the essence of the moment in such a beautiful light. On the day of our wedding, I felt a wave of calmness when I saw Laura. She has so much experience and knowledge in this field that she knew exactly what needed to be done, like putting in my veil the correct way (LOL). Laura answered all of our questions and heard all of our concerns. We just got back our wedding photos and we cannot stop looking at them. These pictures are bringing us right back to our day and they are truly so beautiful. For two people who are uncomfortable in front of the camera, we look like we've been doing it for years. We could have never imagined how special the photographs would be. We will be going to Laura for every photo need we will have in the future.

o make the most awkward people feel totally comfortable with a camera pointed at them. Most importantly, she makes taking pictures FUN! She will get every picture you ask for but, personally, I preferred to just let her do what she thought would look best, and boy am I thrilled with our results. Every. Single. Picture from our wedding is flawless. Laura was able to capture our wedding day in a way that makes me feel like I'm re-living it over and over again. Secondly, she literally becomes your best friend, wedding planner, and confidant. Laura was with us every step of the way. She answered every question, was in constant communication with us, re-made our schedule a number of times and did all of it with a smile on her face. Her patience is unmatched. If it weren't for her, I would have been in full-on panic mode on my wedding day. Lastly and what I valued the most was her honesty. She will make sure your expectations are realistic while also doing everything in her power to make your vision come to life. The gratitude I feel towards Laura simply cannot be put into words. She is simply amazing. I'm tempted to get married again just so I can work with her again! I'm confident my husband and I will be going to Laura for pictures for as long as we can. I cannot recommend her enough!!

d so much fun! We can't wait for her to shoot our wedding!

ura during our engagement photo shoot, we knew she was going to give us incredible results. Being in the photography spotlight can definitely feel a little awkward at first, but she made us both feel so comfortable and confident and we ended up having a total blast. Laura was so organized throughout the whole wedding planning process and truly made me feel like she was my wedding planner. She has so much useful experience and advice and made me feel like I was always on top of everything and ahead of the game! Our wedding photos came out better than we could ever have imagined and she delivered them to us SO fast. Booking her will be the best decision you ever made!

raveled to MA). She was wonderful to work with, gave excellent guidance, and was thoroughly prepared. Even my family members commented on how efficiently she got everyone through family photos during our wedding. She was absolutely phenomenal and our pictures are fabulous, thank you so very much again!

nd notes to assist us in working with and preparing other vendors, and overall eased all our anxieties and stressors knowing we would be in good hands. Throughout our planning process Laura was proactive, engaging, professional, one of the kindest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and more than ready to handle each and every one of our needs (sometimes before we even knew any need existed)! As two people who are not used to (or really enjoy) being photographed, Laura made us feel relaxed and comfortable, and the photos she took truly captured my husband and I perfectly in both our engagement and wedding photos. Our photo gallery turned out even better than we could have even dreamed of, as Laura emphasizes capturing "moments" that we get to relive every time we look at our photos. Even post-wedding Laura continued making herself available to answer all of our questions. 5 stars is not enough to show how incredible Laura is, or how quickly you should run to book her! THANK YOU to the best photographer!!

eptionally easy to work with. We could not have asked for higher quality, more beautiful and comprehensive photos to capture our big day. Laura is kind, efficient, helpful and I was so impressed with her professionalism and calming presence. She has an amazing ability to make people feel and look natural in front of the camera. Before the wedding, she was easy to communicate with and helped develop a perfect schedule. The day of, she kept our wedding on schedule and coordinated with other vendors to make for a perfect night. The pictures came back so quickly and they are amazing! Would highly recommend Laura to anyone and everyone!

quickly to emails and phone calls. She was perfect in being "behind the scenes" but also able to coordinate the wedding party. I gave her the reigns on where to capture our moments and I am so glad I did! Also received my photos very timely considering she got married not long after. You won't be disappointed!

hed so intimately. Laura planned an engagement photo shoot that was so tailored to us and it felt so special. We were so happy with how they came out and used them for our wedding website and save the dates! And then for our actual wedding day, Laura helped us create a timeline that would fit everyone's needs and we were so happy to have her there on our big day! She made family photos go so smoothly and we didn't have to spend hours and hours away from our guests to get the most amazing photos. We are so, so happy we hired Laura to be our photographer and we imagine hiring her again for future family shoots! We can't recommend her enough!!

work with! Laura not only captured our engagement and wedding day but also played a big role in helping me plan and organize our big day. She made time to chat and answer questions I had and was patient every step of the way. Her photos are phenomenal and captured our personalities and lifestyle perfectly. From the first photo to the last, it just kept getting better. I was so nervous the morning of my wedding thinking of keeping everything on track and our large families and wedding party organized. As soon as Laura got to our house, I knew it was all going to go smoothly. The quality and quantity of photos she provided, and the time she spent with us on our wedding day was incredible for her pricing. Thank you for capturing these moments for us to look back on forever, I can’t stop looking at our album. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with for the biggest day of our lives.

ng us get really magical photos. We are totally thrilled with how our pictures came out. You can't go wrong with Laura--hire her!

fortable and confident from day one. Fast forward - four years later we have worked together on a variety of shoots from wedding, maternity, newborn to family photos. Through it all, her dedication, kindness and patience have been extremely consistent, especially through the newborn and family photos (our eight mo. old naturally became cranky halfway through. Laura was so fun and spunky and helped us to feel so calm through it all). I honestly can’t say enough, I’m so in love with her aesthetic and her talent. Every single photo from every single shoot we have done together has been my absolute favorite. If you’re looking for a photographer - for anything, call her NOW, you will not be disappointed! I already can’t wait to work with her for our next shoot, because I know there will be many many more ahead had!

tate how satisfied we were with Laura’s work. If you choose to work with her I promise that you will not be disappointed.

a bit uncomfortable with being photographed, but our easy conversation put me at total ease. We had gorgeous morning light and I couldn’t be happier with how the photos came out. Logistically, arrangements were equally thoughtful and straightforward with easy coordination. I will absolutely look to Laura again in the future. Thank you!

e got engaged I knew who I wanted right away to be our photographer. I checked and made sure she was available too when we were picking a day. My fiancé and I are awkward and nervous when it comes to getting our photos taken but with Laura we weren't nervous at all, she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed as if we have known her forever! I just got back my engagement photos yesterday and I'm blown away by them. I had no doubts they would be amazing but they blew my expectations out of this world. If you're looking for a photographer Laura is your girl, I HIGHLY recommend her!

10 whole years ago now, Laura photographed my high school senior photos (!) back then she made the process fun, easy and comfortable! Which is what I knew I needed again for our wedding day, she was the first person I thought of. I am not a fan of being in front of a camera but Laura makes the process easy and key word: comfortable. She told us how to stand, what to do and made all our pictures for us as a couple so fun! We had a large bridal party and again, she made getting pictures with all of them fun and fast (which is crucial when you can be on a time crunch for wedding days). We are just so grateful to have had her for our big day and have not stopped looking at the pictures since we received them. Even though Laura has been booked straight throughout the year, she STILL got us our photos before the timeframe she promised! We can't thank her enough. For 10 years I have been able to watch her work, see her business grow and I can't wait to see what else she has in store for the future! Can't recommend her enough!

en I came across Laura’s site I wrote exclamation points next to her name as she offered packages at all levels and her portfolio was so impressive I was sharing it with my friends. She was the first vendor we booked. Fast forward to engagement photos- my fiancé and I were so nervous but at the end we had so much fun- Laura is professional, easy going, and fun to be around. We booked her for our wedding without hesitation. Without Laura, we would not have our flawless timeline and thoughtful recommendations for the day that I never would have thought of. Fast forward again to wedding day- Hurricane Henri was forecasted to hit and thankfully missed where we were. However, Laura had traveled from where it had hit pretty hard and showed up on time ready to roll. We received our wedding photos and I immediately ran to print our favorites to frame. They were absolutely beautiful from start to finish and I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else on our special day. Laura is someone I will recommend for years to come and will contact when I would like photos again. Thank you Laura for making our dreams come true!!!!!!

s shoot including our puppy. From start to finish, she was amazing. Let's look at some of Laura's incredible qualities: - There was no "now look at me and say, 'cheese!' Laura did an amazing job at creating movement to capture us in our element. - There was no stress. At all. Laura's confidence and positive attitude are contagious. We were in the best hands. - Communication. Laura responds right away and is a great brainstorming partner for creative locations. - It was all about us. At no point did I feel like Laura was rushing us at ALL. She was dedicated to getting the perfect shot, even if we had to try three times (aka, my dog!) I can't wait to work with Laura again for every milestone we'll document in our lives. Being able to spend time with her radiant kindness is an added perk. Thank you SO much, Laura! You're the greatest!

N LOVE. She is an artist and has such a unique eye for photographing with her creativity present in every shot. From the first meeting Laura was SO friendly, organized, and passionate about what she does! We were one of many COVID couples & Laura was right by our side helping us with the difficult process of rescheduling and finding a new date she was available for. She truly helped ease our feelings of stress & uncertainty during that time & was always a positive light for us! She helped me from trying to find a hotel to get ready at to creating a unique timeline for our day. We didn’t have a wedding planner but Laura sure felt like it!! She had our day planned perfectly and kept everything flowing smoothly. On the day of she was prompt, flexible, and professional but still felt like a friend that was excited for us! Even with obstacles such as our venue not being unlocked she rolled with the punches and coordinated with our venue to get the key and ensure it was open for all our vendors and wedding party for prep/photos & was able to adjust our timeline as needed without any hiccups/hesitation! My fiancé & I both had a couple of complicated family dynamics like so many others that Laura was awesome about working around and made sure there was no awkwardness with those photos! She brought such high energy during bridal party & bride/groom photos & it definitely showed in our photos! Again it was like having a friend photograph us and made everyone feel so at ease. And this is all to say before even seeing our photos she captured which we knew would be absolutely beautiful and holy cow I don’t know how it’s possible but she even exceeded those preconceived expectations!! The. Most. Beautiful. Photos I have ever seen. We got gorgeous sunset photos of my husband & I that we will cherish for so many years. It truly looks straight out of a bridal magazine. Every single photo was amazing!!! She is such a talented artist and there’s no one else I’d rather have worked with & trusted with capturing our special day. She is so passionate about what she does & it showed through every step of the planning process! I can’t say ENOUGH how much we recommend Laura Ink Photography!!! We will absolutely be hiring her for any future photography needs & feel like we’ve gained a lifelong friend! And she is SO reasonably priced compared to other photographers in my opinion but her work is worth every penny!!! I also had worked with her for an intimate photo shoot as an anniversary gift to my then fiancé prior to our wedding which I had never done but Laura made me feel so at ease & made me feel confident & beautiful. Working with her has been such a lovely and blissful experience.

n we found Laura, we knew she was going to be the perfect fit for our special day. From the beginning, she was easily accessible and was more than willing to work with us to figure out timelines and other pieces of the wedding that we were unsure of. She is laid back yet professional and really helps you figure out what you want most for your wedding day. And the quality of her photos speak volumes. She captured moments that I did not even remember happening because the day went so quickly, but I am sure glad she did! I would not say my husband and I are the most photogenic when it comes to staged photos, but she captured us in our element and made us feel at ease and relaxed throughout the whole day. We can relive the most amazing and special day of our lives for years to come. Thank you Laura and your amazing team for capturing every moment of our day! We cannot thank you enough.

ly talented, she is such a fun, but professional and calming person to have on your wedding day. Laura did such an amazing job capturing all the posed photos that we discussed beforehand and remembered the ones we didn’t want taken, too. She also took the most beautiful candids I’ll forever be thankful for because they bring me right back to our perfect day ❤️ We were able to get all the photos we wanted by also being 100% in the moment. That’s all we could have asked for! She sent back the photos right on time (I believe even quicker than she originally planned) along with some teasers as well! Everyone’s needs a Laura on their wedding day ❤️

the quality of her work is even better! Laura is super profession, punctual and very attentive. For our wedding her assistant could not make it and she still managed to take over 1,000 pictures. She was everywhere! She captured it all. I loved those candid shot! Shes the best. I will definitely be using her services again in the future!

beautiful memories to last a lifetime in the form of her photographs. She was highly communicative, thorough, flexible, and just an incredibly pleasant person to work with. We would absolutely reach out to Laura for any of our future photography needs, and definitely plan on recommending her to anyone we know. Thank you, Laura, for all you do!!

c insecurities and what I was nervous about. She worked around it all and made me feel like a supermodel for a day (which is a very tough accomplishment!) My one year old was a bit nervous and hesitant but Laura jumped right in and helped me sing Baby Shark approximately 300 times and we got a ton of smiles out of her! She was professional, quick to get back to me and answered all of my many questions. I would 100% book another shoot with her in a heartbeat. Several of my friends and family have also had shoots with Laura (wedding, boudoir, and newborn) and all of their pictures came out breath taking!

she made us feel completely at ease and comfortable. And WOW are her photos amazing. She captured everything and more and truly have us reliving our day over and over again with such joy. Don't hesitate on booking Laura - you absolute will not regret it!

onality. We decided not to let the pandemic get the best of us and opted to host an intimate wedding celebration with less than two months notice. Laura was awesome throughout the planning process. We had a few phone discussions during which she outlined her contract, was very fair and flexible in regard to the need for changes, and outlined her ideas for creative photos and a timeline. Sure enough, the guidelines in MA were tightened one week before the wedding and Laura helped to keep me calm. Laura was a true professional and so much fun on the day of. She expertly guided us through the first look (a concept I had no idea I would love so much), and inspired so many fun photos both posed and candid. Laura worked beautifully with the venue and other professionals and made everyone feel at ease. We were so impressed with the quick turnaround of her photo delivery and even more so with the quality of the shots. Being able to see our true personalities captured is a thing of beauty. The combination of fun and soulful photos is perfect. There is no way for us to select only a handful of photos to display and therefore I look forward to ordering what I know will be a beautiful album for our home. I would not hesitate to recommend Laura to anyone searching for a professional, reliable, creative, and fun photographer!

about our life and came up with the perfect idea! She made our engagement shoot fun and effortless, like we were just hanging out as a couple and not like a camera was right in our face the entire time. When we found out we were expecting our first child right before our wedding, I immediately reached out to Laura. I wanted to somehow incorporate this awesome news as a surprise to all of our guests! I had an idea in mind and when I asked her for some suggestions she came back with the exact same plan which felt like fate. She made an already special day into a moment we will never forget! To be able to share such amazing news with our loved ones and be able to relive that day through our wedding album is something I will forever be grateful for. Laura doesn’t feel like just a vendor or photographer anymore, she truly feels like a friend. I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else to capture life’s perfect moments!

our ceremony and took pictures of my husband and as well as family following the ceremony. To say we loved our photos is an understatement! She also delivered our entire edited album 2 days after the wedding! I can’t wait to have Laura photograph our large reception next year and I know we will be recommending her to anyone we know!

r engagement pictures so we were a little nervous we’d feel awkward but Laura made the whole thing so comfortable, and we were so thrilled with the results. She was so flexible and patient with us when we had to postpone our reception but still had a small ceremony this year. She captured the day absolutely beautifully. It was so nice not to have to worry about making sure the day was perfectly captured. I could not recommend her more.
