I cannot put into words how important of a role Laura played in making our wedding day perfect and allowing us to relive it for the rest of our lives. Choosing Laura as our photographer was the absolute BEST decision that we made! From our very first conversation, she was very organized and detail oriented, which helped relieve so much stress throughout the wedding planning process. She took the time to understand how we envisioned our day, while also giving great advice and suggestions. She was very thorough with coming up with a timeline on our wedding day so that we could make sure we got all of the photos that we wanted. Laura has amazing energy and is warm and kind, and has a way to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We also did our engagement photos with her in the winter in Newport on an extremely foggy day. She warned us that it may not be the best circumstances to shoot in, but my husband and I live in NYC and unfortunately did not have the flexibility to reschedule. Let's just say that these engagement photos ended up being incredible!! She has so much talent and can make any foggy or rainy day look beautiful. This also eased my mind for our wedding day, since the one thing you cannot control is the weather - so I knew that even if we had bad weather on our wedding day, our photos would be just as beautiful. We did end up having the most stunning day for our August wedding, and the sunset photos were my absolute favorite!! On the wedding day, Laura was on top of everything and was extremely flexible and easy going. She was able to adapt and think quickly on how to keep things on schedule. Laura brought her assistant Adam on the wedding day to spend the day with my husband and the groomsmen to capture all of their photos from getting ready and prior to the ceremony. My husband and his friends cannot say enough about Adam! He was so fun and he captured amazing moments of my husband getting ready that I otherwise wouldn't have seen. He also captured awesome candid photos on the dance floor and throughout the reception. Both Laura and Adam were able to capture our entire wedding day and tell our story through their beautiful photos, which was very important to me. When you are in the moment at your wedding, you miss a lot of things going on in the background, and I am so grateful to have all of these photos to look back on. Laura is so passionate about her work, and it comes through in her beautiful photographs. She is a true artist and I have gotten SO many compliments on my wedding photos! Laura and her assistant Adam were fantastic photographers! Everything was seamless on the day of. She removed all stress and made me and my husband feel very comfortable when we are typically camera shy. She also worked with my other vendors to figure out the details that I didn’t know, which was a huge help for me. Adam shot the getting ready photos with the guys as well as the candids on the dance floor and we can’t say enough about his energy and great attitude all day. Leading up to and after the wedding, Laura was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I can’t recommend her enough!

If actually tying the knot was our favorite part of the day, having Laura as a photographer was a close second. There are so many reasons to recommend her. First and foremost are the final photos: vibrant, colorful, and compelling, they capture the beauty of the day nearly as well as it was in reality. Her compositions, color theory, and photographic style are perfect for any wedding that's summer-y, beachy, outdoors, or in nature. Photography skills aside, Laura is incredibly personable, sweet, and accommodating, traits that are arguably even more important on a wedding day. Covid was perhaps a blessing in disguise for us, because we lost our original photographer due to our date change, which led us to finding Laura. She was very prompt in delivering our photos, and kept to the schedule she promised. We received a dozen photos within two days of our wedding. Then, we received a gallery of about 150-200 photos 1 month after, and finally we got our full gallery 2 months to the day after our wedding. We appreciate that level of professionalism which cannot be said of all of our vendors. We could not recommend Laura more.

We truly cannot say enough about Laura’s stunning photography and professionalism but if we were to sum it up, it comes down to this: if you are thinking about booking her for your wedding, do it!!! For two people who rarely like to be in front of the camera, we were a little worried about how we would feel being the focus of so many photos on our big day. Laura put those worries to rest immediately. We booked her engagement package and we are so glad we did. This gave us an opportunity to get used to Laura’s style and her “signature” poses. We worked with her to find a spot in our neighborhood and even got to incorporate our nervous dog into some photos. When we got to the second location for the photos with our dog, there was a flag football game going on that we hadn’t anticipated. Laura pivoted seamlessly noticing the only tree by the empty town baseball field we passed down the road. We were a little skeptical (a baseball field wasn’t exactly the photo backdrop we expected) but the photos turned out stunning and you would never know our tree was sandwiched between a parking lot and baseball diamond. That same flexibility and creativity came through on our wedding day. Laura and her second shooter handled the day with such professionalism and were truly the calm we needed during the day. We got through all of our portraits (including a 25 minute round trip drive to get stunning mountain shots) with plenty of time for us to enjoy our cocktail hour. We felt so comfortable after our practice run from our engagement shoot. When the fire alarm went off and all of our guests had to evacuate our venue for 20 minutes right before the speeches (yes, really), Laura took the opportunity to capture our guests and band continuing the party and enjoying the 20 minute “intermission” outside. She captured moments we didn’t even realize happened and we are so grateful to look back at these photos. We cannot even tell you how many compliments we got on Laura throughout the day and once we received our wedding and engagement photos. From every planning phone call (including an emergency call after a not so great makeup trial) to our engagement shoot to our wedding day, we feel so lucky to have had Laura be part of such a special moment in our lives. I can't say enough about how lovely and easeful it was working with Laura, for both our engagement session and wedding day! She has a natural eye for good lighting and can capture love like no other. From the very beginning, she was so helpful and organized. Not only is her work stunning, but she is a pro at keeping the day moving. Laura and Jenn were absolutely amazing! We found Laura through a friend and we went to the same college. She was so professional, sweet, organized, detailed, and communicated with us constantly. Words cannot describe how amazing Laura is! With the pandemic, we postponed our wedding from June to September and I was so excited that Laura was available for our new date. Through plan B, C, and D she was there for us and was so incredibly supportive. The day of the wedding, she was the exact personality you’d want for a wedding photographer- she was calm but direct and you could see how genuinely excited she was to be sharing the day with us. She kept us on schedule while also being so patient when I kept asking for more shots during our beach portrait session. Our family members kept raving about how amazing she was! Then after the wedding, we got a preview album the next day! The pictures were stunning and perfectly captured our day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laura as a wedding photographer! If you are looking at this page, do not look further! We hired Laura for both our engagement and wedding photos. Before both of those days, Laura sent the most professional booklet of do's and don'ts for both days. It gave us an idea on what to do for her and what to expect from her. I especially liked the outfit ideas she gave for engagement photos. Laura did her research on all locations, which helped her find the best places to take photos. Due to COVID-19, we weren't able to go to our reception venue to take photos. Laura was able to find us a new location close to the Church which matched my vision for wedding photos. The day ran so smoothly with Laura. Her calming presence made me relax as the bride! She also comes fully prepared. My husband was very hot during photos and she had water, chocolates, and tissues ready for all! My favorite part about having Laura as a photographer was that she was able to catch the smallest moments. She took almost 50 photos of my family dog who ended up passing away a week after the wedding. I texted her the day it happened and she edited all those photos for my family during our mourning period. We will treasure them forever. Laura goes ABOVE and BEYOND! I will forever recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

Laura was an amazing photographer who I would recommend to anyone!! I was in search for a photographer with natural lighting in the photos and limiting filters and Laura delivered exactly what I wanted! We first did an engagement photo shoot with her and she was so friendly and helpful with making the two of us feel comfortable and not just awkward poses. Laura was suppose to photograph our 6/20/2020 wedding. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to postpone the big wedding but decided we still wanted to do something small within RI covid limitations. Laura was AMAZING. She not only was fantastic during the entire planning process (super responsive, on top of everything), she helped keep my entire day in line and on time. I knew from the moment I got engaged that I wanted to have Laura has our wedding photographer. She was very helpful throughout the planning process by putting together a timeline of the day as well as family portraits. Laura's work photographing our wedding was outstanding and blew away all of my expectations. With a wedding in November in Newport we were unsure until the last minute whether we were going to be able to have the ceremony and take photos outside or would need another location. With my uncertainty Laura took charge on the day of scouting out the facility to find the perfect spot for photos both inside (away from the crazy wind and cold!) and also braving the weather with us to get some fantastic photos outside.
