Laura is an absolute dream to work with - not to mention the talent she has for capturing such special moments. Laura photographed our engagement photos in 2019, our micro wedding in 2020, and our postponed wedding this past weekend. She has such a natural way of capturing perfect photos while making her couples feel so at ease. Not to mention, Laura is incredibly organized and professional, which made our postponement process much easier to navigate. Her colleague Kate, was also soooo nice to work with at our 2021 wedding. All I can say is WOW. Laura and her team were so amazing to work with on our wedding day. She and her second shooter Kate were so kind and helpful in wrangling our crew and getting the most beautiful photos on our special day. Finding a photographer was a huge part of our wedding planning process, as we knew that our photos were incredibly important to us to be able to put on display and cherish for years to come after our wedding day. After coming across Laura's work, we immediately fell in love with her light, airy style, and knew we had to reach out. While reading about her interests and talking to her on the phone for our initial discussion, we immediately felt connected to her and knew that she had to capture our big day. She was so full of life, kind, accommodating, and you could tell just how much time, effort, and energy goes into her work. She truly loves what she does, and she spends the time getting to know her couples and make them feel confident and comfortable with her. Being a COVID couple was challenging to say the least, but Laura was so accommodating and communicative during the whole process, and made moving our wedding date a breeze. She is so organized and walks you through everything you need to know and what to expect for the big day. All of my other vendors and family members commented on how organized she was and how they loved having a copy of the timeline so that everyone knew where to be, when. She was always available to hop on the phone and chat when we felt like we needed a check in, and always answered the constant questions in a timely fashion over the 2.5 years of planning. The day of the wedding, she was a true rock star - keeping everyone on time and also just being her energetic, bubbly self the whole day. All of our wedding party and family members commented on how wonderful she was and how they felt her excitement while she was taking photos, and that made them even more excited to be standing there posing for the photos. We just got our full gallery back and all I can say is - WOW!!!! The photos are STUNNING and she captured our day exactly as we remember it. We were brought to tears going through the 1,500+ photos of us and our loved ones, and felt all of the emotions of each part of the day through the photos she captured. We love all of them SO much that we're having trouble picking which ones to print and put on display throughout the house. They're all THAT beautiful and perfect. Laura is truly fantastic at what she does, and her personality just makes it that much more enjoyable to work with her. We can't recommend Laura enough!

Laura photographed our intimate July wedding at Red Maple Vineyard. She was so lovely to work with - super responsive, helpful, accommodating when we had to change our date last minute, and extremely knowledgeable in her craft. I LOVE her light, airy style and felt like her pictures beautifully captured the stunning scenery at our venue. On the day-of she was so calm and kept our families and wedding parties moving through all the pictures seamlessly. Laura is the best photographer in the business!! I knew before I was even engaged I had to have her photograph my wedding. My wife and I got married on July 20th at Red Maple Vineyard. We hired Laura and her awesome team to photograph our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Leading up to the wedding, Laura was ultra communicative, so easy to work with and even sent us little surprise “gifts” as we approached our big day. When it came to the wedding, Laura and her team were awesome. It just so happened that we would get married on the hottest day of the year with an outdoor ceremony. This did not affect Laura and her team at all. They were there for us every moment, were so organized and were extremely flexible. Simply the best! From the beginning, Laura was very responsive and reached out to me immediately once I inquired. From our first skype call, to her online billing system, everything about working with her was simple and professional. My Husband and I LOVED working with Laura. Not only did she make my camera shy husband feel comfortable in front of the camera, but she truly cared about our story and capturing our love. Laura is one of a kind! The way she captured our story throughout our engagement as well as on our wedding day was flawless! We first met Laura at my best friend’s wedding. She arrived on site with a calm and professional attitude and made us all feel at ease as we finished getting ready. She was flexible, kind, and just a joy to be around! After getting engaged, we knew that she would be the perfect person to capture our day! When we first spoke with Laura, we had told her about how we wanted to take engagement pictures during each season of the year. Laura sounded even more excited than we did! She began sending articles, and ideas of ways we could make our vision become a reality. When unexpectedly warm weather during the week of our winter shoot melted all the snow but a small patch in her backyard, she invited us over and craftily created a setting that looked like we were in a wintery wonderland! My husband is normally pretty uncomfortable and stilted when getting his picture taken, but Laura did a great job of getting him to ease up and be a little silly in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Laura made sure that we felt comfortable, took time to cater to our vision, and worked to ensure that we took to the time to breathe in the special moments that made up our day. Often, when you have a videographer and photographer staring at you for the whole day, it can be difficult to feel comfortable to take a moment with your mom, or your husband, and just be together. Laura made sure that we had that time. She felt out what was going on in the room, and asked the rest of our vendors to give us the space we needed to take in our special day. Choosing Laura Lee Photography for our September wedding was the best decision that we made by far. I knew that I wanted Laura as our photographer almost immediately. We don’t even know where to start to explain how amazing Laura is. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer but she is now a friend! When we first started looking for a Photographer we wanted to work with someone local but we struggled with quality of work and affordability. It's simple to see how beautiful Laura's photos are - just look at her website. But what impressed me the most about having Laura as our wedding photographer was how seamless she made everything. First of all, she is the sweetest, most genuine individual who goes above and beyond for her clients. She is clearly a busy person, but she will make you feel so special from the first time you talk to her to well after your wedding day. When we first met with Laura, we knew immediately that we had found our wedding photographer! Laura was not only very organized and professional, but also so much fun to be around and reassuring. To begin, our engagement photo session was perfect. We were so relaxed with Laura during our sessions that all our photos came out looking so natural. We had a beautiful (and fun!) picnic at the top of Bear Mountain with the sun setting in the backdrop. After seeing how perfectly well the pictures turned out, were we beyond excited in anticipation for our wedding photos, so we also decided to book her for an extra session at our Chinese banquet. She did not disappoint. She captured all the important moments of our banquet and even our wedding party kept mentioning to us how much they enjoyed having her there. We had some rain on our wedding day at our outdoor venue, but with Laura’s talent, the weather appeared perfect in our photos. Laura certainly didn’t let the damp/rain get her down at all – she was completely positive and upbeat while she went around our outdoor venue with us, taking photos from all angles, getting the perfect shot. Even more importantly, she was able to capture all the sweetest, most genuine, and fun moments of the day. Laura really made our whole wedding extra special. It is also great that she is so involved in the wedding industry and works well with the other vendors to coordinate our wedding schedule. Laura is amazingly organized and essentially provided us with a template to structure our wedding schedule around. During the whole stressful planning process, she would even send us little care packages!! To this day, we hope to have a rock climbing/photo session with her. We can’t recommend Laura enough; picking her as our wedding photographer was one of the BEST decisions we made during the planning process! We used Laura as our wedding photographer this fall and truly could not have been happier with both Laura herself and her work! Everything she did from the moment we interviewed her before hiring, to the followup after the wedding had a personal touch and felt like we were working with a friend that we had known for years. Before the wedding Laura accommodated our engagement pictures perfectly and was in constant communication about what to expect and helped us plan our day and make sure everything was going to be perfect. On the day of, Laura and her second shooter arrived early and even last minute during the reception when we decided we didn't get all the shots we wanted, worked for an extra hour on no notice. When it came to booking our wedding photographer, I didn't really even know where to start. I am a VERY detail oriented person and I had a picture in my mind of exactly what I hoped my wedding day and photos would look like, but putting that vision into someone else's hands to execute was a little nerve wracking for me. I hope that anyone considering a wedding photographer reads this comment. My husband and I were "blank slaters" when planning our wedding. As a couple in our mid 20s, we were left to our own volition to plan the outdoorsy, rustic, whimsical wedding of our dreams. I had a specific style in mind but no words were rightfully equip to describe my vision. My husband ended up finding Laura on google. I don’t know how many people we’ve told, but we can whole-heartedly say that Laura made our wedding. She’s young, gifted, personable, and most importantly, inspiring. She has an indescribable characteristic of making wedding photos “not awkward.” Our engagement and wedding photos are jaw dropping with creativity. She amalgamates tradition with a true love of nature. After a two year journey, we can honestly say that Laura is not only our wedding photographer, but also our friend. Cheers!

I don't even know where to start with this one but I think the best way is to say that I did a LOT of research before choosing a photographer. My husband and I have very busy work schedules, so the first thing that struck me about Laura was her responsiveness, enthusiasm AND personalization through all of her e-mails to me during the vetting process. After reviewing her work and portfolio, I knew that this was the way we were going to go. I don't think I've ever been so happy with a single decision and the result as I was with my wedding photographs by Laura. From the time that we had our first Skype meeting, to our awkward (but not so awkward thanks to Laura keeping us calm and laughing) engagement shoot, to little gifts and surprises in the mail leading up to the day...and finally, all the way down to sweating off half of my body weight at my 105 degree wedding two weeks ago and once again, Laura keeping everyone smiling, keeping the ball rolling - being enthusiastic and professional each step of the way; there is just so much I can say about this photographer. My husband and I come from an incredibly complex family (a modern family if you will; divorces, deaths, step parents, almost step parents, half siblings) - you name it and we've got it, and Laura knew everyones name like rapid fire, everyones connections to who, and then some. Every single person involved in our family shots could not stop complimenting how on the ball she was. She felt like family that day! Seriously impressive. I think the crux of what I'm trying to say really lies in her work and that's where I fall short of the perfect words. If you're looking for a photographer to truly capture your essence as a couple -- not just the standard wedding portraits staring out of windows and gazing into the distance with your husband; but TRULY capturing the beauty that is your individual relationship (whatever that may be)...hire Laura. I have received countless complements on our wedding photographs from those who have seen them; specifically on how perfectly she was able to capture who we are as a couple and exactly what makes us unique. I will never be able to thank her enough for that. AND she did all of this in 105 degree heat as I was about to throw in the towel and skip wedding party portraits all together :) She was personal, she was fun, and she was always professional. The best decision I made during wedding planning was hiring Laura Lee as our wedding photographer. It’s hard to know where to start with this review because there is so much I can say about why you should hire her. She is hands down, the most enthusiastic person I have ever met and she truly loves what she does. She was born to be a wedding photographer and she has the kind of energy you want and need around you on your wedding day. I never thought I would be stressed or overwhelmed on my wedding, but a lot of things didn’t go to plan and with the 100 degree heat I was starting to lose it. Laura Lee showed up to our hotel with her smile and calming vibes and she just magically fixed everything. My friend burned her leg while steaming bridesmaids dresses and Laura jumped right in as if she was a paramedic and helped her deal with the situation, while downplaying it to me so I wouldn’t freak out. When we realized the rhinestones on my shoes were snagging the tulle on my dress- she took her shoes off and gave them to me. When my veil fell into the lake for a minute during photos, she helped me get it out and reassured me it was no big deal. When sticks and twigs got stuck into the tulle of my dress she laughed and helped me fix it. She eased my worries and made me feel like everything was going to be perfect. I think without her, I would have had a panic attack. (Seriously) These things might not seem important and have nothing to do with photography but these are the qualities you want in the person who photographs your wedding day. You want someone who is calm and attentive, someone who helps you before you realize you need help and someone who can bring you back down to earth and laugh off the nerves. Laura’s photos speak for themselves; they capture her client’s personalities and love-every one of her blog posts gives me the feels. She is so happy and has the bubbliest personality that no matter what- your photos will come out incredible. On top of everything I’ve said above, Laura acts and feels like a friend. You literally feel like you are hanging out with a BFF the whole time you are with her. That definitely contributes to the quality of her photos because you are truly, 100% yourself in her presence. We wish we could hang out with Laura everyday because through this process we feel so much love and happiness towards her and when she is around everything feels better.

My husband Steven and I set out to find vendors who we felt comfortable with, connected with, and had a super positive and happy vibe because it was essential to us to be surrounded by this energy and this type of person on the most important day of our lives. We so fortunately came across Laura at the recommendation of another photographer (which clearly showed that she was reputable right off the bat), and after having a laid back FaceTime conversation with Laura, we knew she was the one based on how genuine, kind, and knowledgable she was. From our incredible engagement shoot in which Laura broke right through our shyness to capture the most stunning, breath taking pictures, all the way to crying along with us at our first look, she was beyond professional and treated us more like friends than clients. She truly cares about what she does, and she is not simply a wedding photographer, but an incredible artist who has the ability to capture the most fleeting moments, raw emotion, and pure magic. She took time and care to really get to know Steven and I, and made each experience we had with her totally personalized and special. She is thorough, detailed, experienced, and incredibly knowledgable about all aspects of wedding planning, and even provided a timeline for the wedding day. (This was a complete savior as the timeline for the wedding day ended up being the most complicated thing to figure out.) On our wedding day, she was incredibly patient working with our bridal party and family members. Taking each small change in schedule in stride, and truly keeping the whole day on track. She even gave me her flip flops when I lost feeling in my toes from wearing my heels for too long! As a total novice at planning weddings, and someone who did it without the help of a professional planner, I never realized how important the influence of the photographer would be on the day of the wedding. Laura is so experienced at dealing with any given situation, and is willing and ready to jump in to help however she can. She kept us on schedule even when things happened out of order or unexpectedly, and most of all she treated everyone with the utmost kindness, patience, and respect. Laura is truly the best of the best, and I am so incredibly thankful that we were able to have her with us through the most important time in our life to date. As I said before, look no further. My husband Craig and I struck gold when we found Laura Lee Photography. It was such an amazing find and cannot express how happy we are to have found such an amazing talent!! The minute I saw Laura’s work I knew we had to meet her. I told my husband about my find and he could totally see how excited I was. I immediately emailed Laura and her prompt response was well appreciated. Going out of the country that evening did not stop Laura from reaching out to us. From the first time fiancé and I spoke with Laura, we knew we had found our wedding photographer. Her passion for photographer is immediately obvious and she also has the knowledge and skills to back it up. In having Laura as our photographer, it feels like we also have are own personal wedding expert! She is always happy to offer advice no anything from planning the wedding day timeline to choosing colors that will really shine on camera. I am so grateful to have her during the planning process ! We had our engagement session with Laura recently and the experience was an absolute pleasure. My fiancé and I felt like we were going to be big goofballs on camera and instead of trying to make us pose and be stiff, Laura made us feel totally comfortable being ourselves. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura Lee Photography. Laura is easy to work with, down to earth and, personable. What I love the most about her work is that she captures the emotions in her images. She tells her clients' stories through her pictures. My wedding photos are full of smiles, laugher, love, joy and happy tears. My husband and I love the outdoors so we asked Laura to travel to the Adirondacks with us for our engagement session. We did a shoot on the top Whiteface Mountain, canoeing on Lake Placid, and standing in the Ausable River. Laura is an extremely talented photographer, she is adventurous, and provides the best wedding photography experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

There is no higher praise I could give to Laura Lee Photography. Laura is not only a talented photographer, but her unique sense of style and beautiful personality shine through in her work making it truly special. In trying to fit wedding planning into our crazy busy lives, it is a great relief to work with such an accommodating vendor with whom we both have great trust in. We recently had our engagement photos taken and the pictures are fantastic! More than the pictures themselves, I have to admit how surprised I was about the experience. I went from thinking it was an "unnecessary but cute" idea... to insisting all of my engaged friends do it. Interacting with Laura at our EPS really helped my fiance and I overcome our fear of "photo awkwardness" and we both ended up having a lot of fun!. All in all, it was an irreplaceable experience and I am very excited for our my wedding day!

Laura was recommended to us by 2 of my fiancée’s college friends. And we are so glad she was! When I looked up her blog and saw her photos I knew I had to have Laura as our photographer. Laura was so accommodating and so easy to work with. She did our engagement shoot one weekend morning as my fiancée and I were overwhelmed with work. As a person who does not feel very photogenic Laura made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She had a quick turn around time sending us our full album in a couple weeks. Our friends and family keep telling us how much they love our photos and how great we look in them…all thanks to Laura! We are so excited to have her photograph our wedding!

Finding a photographer is no easy task. Once you start researching them you realize about 98% of them all start looking and sounding pretty much the same. In this situation, sometimes word of mouth is the only answer. Laura was recommended to me from a friend that I work with. I went home and researched her work and thought there was a uniqueness about it. Not to mention she is young and very motivated and very involved on the "current" wedding trends etc. Once I reached out to Laura I instantly decided she was the one I wanted to go with. Two things to consider: anyone that plays a key aspect in your wedding should be easy to correspond with. Also, there should always be a second shooter at a wedding. I was recently in a wedding where they had a great photographer... but no second shooter. I felt there was a whole aspect of the wedding day that was missed. Laura picked an excellent second shooting to help her caption our wedding day, my husband also really enjoyed working with her (as she was with the guys in the morning). Laura also worked well together with my videographer (Willow Tree Films). I was nervous about being torn in two different directions but it did not feel like that at all! Laura was also super easy to correspond with: scheduling time to chat late at night (after my long work day) or super quick texting her throughout the day to get an instant response. To say we were blown away when we saw our wedding pictures is an understatement. It was exactly what I was hoping for from the beginning. You put so much effort and energy into making this one day perfect the only thing you have to reminisce on is the photographs so don't you want them perfect also?! We will be looking back on these pictures for a lifetime to come and have Laura to thank for that! Thanks Laura!

My wife and I were very fortunate to find Laura when we did and couldn't be more thankful. Our experience with her was nothing but awesome and we not only gained amazing pictures from our engagement shoot and wedding, but also someone we trust referring to any of our friends that get engaged, as well. Working with Laura is extremely laid back and comfortable and she is an absolute natural behind the lens. She kept the entire wedding party at ease throughout a very long day and even got the drunk ones to stay still and smile. My husband and I got married back in September, and I have yet to have a day pass by when I don't look at the incredible photos that Laura took for us. When we went on our engagement shoot, we were genuinely having a great time and laughing throughout the entire day (and I say "day" because Laura even went out for breakfast with us in the morning, and then we got drinks after the shoot. Who doesn't want that kind of bond with their photographer?). Laura got to know us, and so our pictures are true reflections of who we are. I will forever highly recommend Laura to be your photographer. She's a talented, gifted professional and a joy to work with. I've known Laura for several years know and I have always admired her photography. When I heard she was doing professional engagement sessions and booking weddings I was thrilled! It was perfect timing for my fiancé and I and I knew I wanted to book her immediately! We had our engagement session over the summer and we met at Asbury Park. We had so much fun and it felt so natural with Laura behind the camera. I trust her completely and we were so thrilled with our shoot. When my fiancee and I first got engaged we decided to tackle wedding planning head on and jumped into some poor decisions regarding vendors. After our first engagement shoot with another photographer I quickly realized what I wanted in a photographer and what my style was and he was not it. A close friend suggested Laura to my fiancé and I after talking about finding a photographer to do our engagement shoot. After checking out her Facebook page and website, we instantly fell in love with her style. Her portfolio was full of natural and gorgeous shots. You can literally feel the love in each picture! After reaching out to her, we knew she was right for us. She was so flexible and easy to work with. Pit was tricky finding a weekend that worked for me with my crazy work schedule, but fate worked its magic and we ended up being in our college town for homecoming the same weekend Laura was in town for a wedding and the same day of our fourth anniversary! It was so special to us. The day of our shoot was foggy and cold. I was so worried about how the photos would turn out, but the enthusiasm Laura had about shooting in the foggy conditions made me relax. She had such creative ideas for poses and an eye for spots to take the pictures that I never would have thought of. I mean really, who would think that taking pictures on a riverbank with a wall of dense fog would be the most magical thing ever? We felt so comfortable with her and after the shoot we couldn't wait to see how all the pictures turned out! They came out gorgeous!! Her talent is genuine and I highly recommend her service to every bride-to-be.
