She prepared me for what was realistic and made a very detailed schedule showing the timeline we planned together for the big day. saw her social media page when I was looking for photographers and immediately knew that her vision matched what we were thinking of for our wedding. She also photographed at our venue before (The Valley at Neshanic - Neshanic Valley Golf Course), which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I knew she would know exactly where to get the best pictures. From our first phone call, I knew Laura was the right choice for our photographer. She explained the whole process with me and sent me a timeline to fill out which also had all our requests for who we would want pictures with. Our ceremony and reception were at 2 different places. Laura was able to capture beautiful moments during our Catholic wedding ceremony inside the church and at our reception venue. I was a little worried about the lighting inside the church, but the pictures Laura was able to capture were amazing!! I couldn’t believe it. She ran through our whole list of requests seamlessly. It was such an easy process, and everyone was so impressed with her professionalism and efficiency. Throughout the whole day she was extremely organized and always flexible to our requests. When we got to the reception venue, Laura set everyone up to capture the most BEAUTIFUL pictures. We did bridal party pictures and then pictures of just me and my husband. Laura found the most perfect spots at our venue to capture the best lighting and made sure everyone looked their absolute best. She made the whole process so fun and enjoyable! During the reception, we snuck out with Laura for some golden hour pictures outside, and we had the best time! It was so nice to get a little moment to ourselves away from everyone, and the pictures that came out during the time brought tears to my eyes. While we were sitting outside during our after party, I got a notification on Instagram that Laura had posted a sneak peek of some of our pictures, and it was the BEST surprise. I had no idea we would be able to see some pictures just a few hours after our wedding. They were absolutely beautiful, and our family was sending out her page for everyone to see them. People are still gushing over them and telling me how beautiful our pictures were. I can only thank Laura for that and how amazing she is at her job! When talking with multiple people and family members after our wedding, everyone has the exact same compliment - “that photographer was AMAZING!” and we 100% agree. When I saw her email come through with our full gallery I couldn’t contain my excitement, and I immediately went through the whole thing! I was so thrilled, and I couldn’t wait to show everyone! Everyone was just so impressed with Laura and that she was able to do everything all by herself. She made everyone so comfortable that day. My husband and I aren’t the biggest fans of being in front of the camera, but Laura made us so comfortable and it never felt awkward at all! edding Laura was extremely helpful. You can tell she has such a passion for her work, and it truly shows. She pays so much attention to every little detail. Her experience as a wedding photographer is impeccable. Laura also has a ton of experience with doing weddings at Johnson's Locust Hall Farm. We did first look photos with our two huskies, and she knew how to capture those special pictures with them paying attention to her. Laura saved the day for us when we had to change our ceremony from outdoor to indoors, she knew exactly what to do to capture stunning wedding moments for us. I was pretty bummed out I was losing sunset pictures with rain and clouds. Laura made up for that by creating the most stunning end of evening images in the old barn on Johnson's farm. Throughout my day, Laura would frequently check in with me to make sure she was capturing every moment we wanted. Laura is also so kind and down to earth. Our images our just stunning and we couldn't be any happier with them. We will definitely be using Laura in the future for other events.

f how important photos are in general, but especially to me since scrapbooking is a hobby. It almost felt too easy looking at Laura’s site to pick her. Amazing quality photos exactly in our budget. From the moment the contract was signed Laura was the lead on our wedding day team. I had no idea that EVERY vendor we worked with would be asking for her timeline and that they would be working off of it. She scheduled two calls with us prior to the wedding, one for the basics and one about a month out to iron out the rest of the details. A day later we had a timeline that covered everything we wanted and more. She has worked at Johnson Locust Hall Farm many times and so had so many recommendations for where to take pictures and when to take pictures without forcing anything on us at all. She was incredibly easy to work and plan with - she even paid attention to our requests and made sure certain people were never paired together in photos which made mine and my husband’s day so much easier. My husband and I knew we wanted outdoor photos at the farm despite it being November in New Jersey and Laura was incredible at suggesting photos that gave the perfect farm background we wanted while a heated barn or back porch was just out of the shot so our wedding party could wait in the warmth. Additionally, neither my husband or I are comfortable in front of the camera, but looking at the final result we both feel like models. Laura helped make us feel so comfortable and suggested poses that would look good and feel natural. I was nervous it would be awkward trying to get photos I knew I wanted but didn’t feel comfortable posing for and Laura made it fun! Laura was incredible at capturing everyone enjoying themselves all without being intrusive or disturbing the flow of the party - I have SEVERAL friends and family members that have printed out or posted her photos that she took of them because they are their new favorite photos (and they weren’t even the bride and groom!) We got 10 teaser photos AN HOUR AND A HALF after our wedding and then we got our final album less than a month after our wedding. Laura is extremely talented, professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with and we could not recommend anyone more than we recommend Laura!

I can honestly tell you that once our ceremony started, I didn't see her - but in the best way possible!!!! I've been to so many weddings where the photographer is just in the way and kind of disrupts the flow of the dancefloor, etc. Laura does just the opposite. Her ability to read the room, be "sneaky" but also be exactly where you need her to be when you need her to be is a true show of her professionalism and talent. us even though that is not her normal style of photography. I also wanted more retouching and she also accommodated. That was nice because some photographers will not accommodate you because they have a specific style they don’t want to stray from. Laura is also very in the background during the wedding which is nice in one sense because she is never in the way or distracting! There were pictures I was surprised she got because I had no idea she was there! She takes a bunch of pictures in a short period of time. We didn’t do a first look so we had very limited time to take couple shots, but Laura got so many! In total we had 865! Also, we were specific about the types of shots we wanted and she was always checking her sheet to make sure she was taking the ones we wanted. She even had some pictures printed out that I had sent her from Pinterest. Lastly, I will say that she is a great value! We had 9 hours of coverage and an engagement session for under $3k! This is VERY hard to come by nowadays! CONS I will preface this with the fact that I’m pretty picky in general about photos and somewhat traditional. If you like staged photos where everyone’s bouquet is at the same height and everyone is looking at the camera, Laura may not be the photographer for you. I loved the majority of our photos and I understand that it is hard to direct a large group of people; however, we have some photos where people are not paying attention and one person has their bouquet down and the other has it in the air. It would have been nice for Laura to direct the girls to place their bouquets down in front so everyone looked the same. Again, this may not be something that bothers you; however, to me it is annoying when everyone looks good expect for one or two people in a photo. Overall, like I mentioned, I think because Laura tends to be more in the background, she is quiet and has more of a difficult time directing people. There was a shot I was taking with my bridesmaids and I found myself directing more so than her because the girls were confused as to what they needed to do. I also would have appreciated some feedback from her. For instance, I have been in weddings when the photographers take a pic and then say how great everything looks to encourage you. Laura is not like this and did not provide any compliments or feedback when she was shooting. Also, I like shots from different angels and she tends to shoot straight on in most photos. There were also two tables she missed taking photos of (card table, bar table) and then she never took a photo of us at our sweetheart table with our champagne glasses. And the last thing I will say is that it took about a month to get our photos, but she does let you know that ahead of time. So if you want your pictures quickly, just be aware of this. Overall, I think Laura is a great photographer and an excellent value. You can’t beat it! My cons are just things to be aware of if they bother you. Otherwise, I have no hesitation in recommending her! Happy planning!
