Laura Leigh Photo

efully reviewed the reference photos I uploaded to our portal of specific shots I liked from her prior wedding galleries. On the wedding day, Laura executed them beautifully, especially a complex group photo of all guests shot from the church’s balcony. COOL & CALM: Laura is so kind and easy to talk to via email, through video calls, and in person. On wedding day, she was always smiling and kept me stress-free, which is hard to do! She took care of everything, even putting on and taking off my shoes. Everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves, and it really shows in the final photos! PERFECT LOCATIONS: Laura knows the ideal spots at The Estate at Eagle Lake venue, as she’s shot here for many years. It was a benefit that she knew the local area too because Laura’s efficiency made it possible to have a sentimental photo stop at the groom’s family farm after our church ceremony and still make it back to the venue for cocktail hour. QUALITY, QUANTITY & QUICK: Laura is really impressive with her turnaround time, especially considering the plethora of final photos received! She completed the full gallery in less than a month, which has a variety of professional portraits, fun candids, sweet B&W edits, guest family photos, and all the venue and decor details you want to remember from your special day. Right on the wedding night, Laura posted a great selection to social media. It was wonderful to share 20+ photos with family and friends so quickly. A+ TEAMWORK: Laura and her second photographer, Jill, were a duo made in heaven! They easily divided and conquered, having every angle covered. While Laura was focusing on the main shot, Jill would hone in on pretty details or capture the most precious candid interactions in the background. Both ladies worked seamlessly with the videographers at Alliance Video (a recommendation from Laura). The final photos and feature film match together beautifully and cohesively. Overall, it was such an enjoyable experience, and I’m so thankful for Laura and Jill, who preserved the memories of a perfect day!

big day and remembered them all day of! She knows Johnson's Locust Hall Farm like the back of her hand and had so many ideas for photo locations. We had an unexpected thunderstorm during our wedding day and she handled it with ease - while capturing the most amazing shots. Turnaround time for the full gallery was faster than anticipated and she even posted a few pictures the night of the wedding! I'm so glad we chose Laura - don't think twice!

ble to beautifully capture the day and the joy and excitement on that day. My mom still references how efficiently she got through all the family photos. Her professionalism on the day, quick turnaround time, and stunning photos make me confident in saying that I cannot have picked a better photographer for such an important day.

professional — capturing every special moment without ever feeling intrusive. The photos are absolutely breathtaking. Laura has a true gift for photography, and she caught so many beautiful, candid moments that we’ll treasure forever. Our family and friends couldn’t stop raving about her, and neither can we. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond with heart and talent, Laura is it.

ed moments. The quality of her work was flawless!

s prior to the wedding. She set up a timeline and stuck to it for our wedding. She knew our family members' names and just did such an amazing job. There were moments when I wanted to have her come and take a picture of something but before I could even ask, she was there!! It was like she read our minds! She is extremely talented, professional and an all around incredible photographer. We would highly recommend her for your wedding or special event!

calm force, who took in all of my ideas and needs for our wedding day and worked absolute miracles. During our check in call before our wedding, Laura walked me through every scenario that could occur during our wedding. She prepared me for what was realistic and made a very detailed schedule showing the timeline we planned together for the big day. While she did an amazing job keeping to the schedule on the day of, she also took interruptions (like a downpour of rain during when I planning to do a huge family photo) in stride. Laura and her second photographer were incredibly professional. They blended in during our wedding, while capturing each and every moment. Our entire album is FUN and joyful, just as she promised, not over posed, but also a perfect depiction of how our day felt. I cannot recommend Laura enough – and I look forward to working with her again!

saw her social media page when I was looking for photographers and immediately knew that her vision matched what we were thinking of for our wedding. She also photographed at our venue before (The Valley at Neshanic - Neshanic Valley Golf Course), which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I knew she would know exactly where to get the best pictures. From our first phone call, I knew Laura was the right choice for our photographer. She explained the whole process with me and sent me a timeline to fill out which also had all our requests for who we would want pictures with. Our ceremony and reception were at 2 different places. Laura was able to capture beautiful moments during our Catholic wedding ceremony inside the church and at our reception venue. I was a little worried about the lighting inside the church, but the pictures Laura was able to capture were amazing!! I couldn’t believe it. She ran through our whole list of requests seamlessly. It was such an easy process, and everyone was so impressed with her professionalism and efficiency. Throughout the whole day she was extremely organized and always flexible to our requests. When we got to the reception venue, Laura set everyone up to capture the most BEAUTIFUL pictures. We did bridal party pictures and then pictures of just me and my husband. Laura found the most perfect spots at our venue to capture the best lighting and made sure everyone looked their absolute best. She made the whole process so fun and enjoyable! During the reception, we snuck out with Laura for some golden hour pictures outside, and we had the best time! It was so nice to get a little moment to ourselves away from everyone, and the pictures that came out during the time brought tears to my eyes. While we were sitting outside during our after party, I got a notification on Instagram that Laura had posted a sneak peek of some of our pictures, and it was the BEST surprise. I had no idea we would be able to see some pictures just a few hours after our wedding. They were absolutely beautiful, and our family was sending out her page for everyone to see them. People are still gushing over them and telling me how beautiful our pictures were. I can only thank Laura for that and how amazing she is at her job! When talking with multiple people and family members after our wedding, everyone has the exact same compliment - “that photographer was AMAZING!” and we 100% agree. When I saw her email come through with our full gallery I couldn’t contain my excitement, and I immediately went through the whole thing! I was so thrilled, and I couldn’t wait to show everyone! Everyone was just so impressed with Laura and that she was able to do everything all by herself. She made everyone so comfortable that day. My husband and I aren’t the biggest fans of being in front of the camera, but Laura made us so comfortable and it never felt awkward at all! I would choose her as our photographer a million times again if I could, and I’ll be recommending her to anyone I know who needs a photographer. I cannot thank Laura enough for capturing our day. I hold so much value in pictures because of the memories they contain, and just seeing all of them brought us back to that day and how amazing it was. Laura is just the best, and her talents are unmatched!

and clear understanding of our vision for the wedding day quickly put us at ease. On the day of the wedding, Laura and Stephanie excelled in making my husband, our bridal party, and myself feel comfortable in front of the camera. We wanted to enjoy our special day with our guests and each other without being frequently pulled away for photos. Thanks to their professionalism and efficiency, we were able to do just that. Upon receiving our photos, I was so impressed that I immediately ordered an album. Laura captured our day beautifully. I highly recommend Laura Leigh Photography!

edding Laura was extremely helpful. You can tell she has such a passion for her work, and it truly shows. She pays so much attention to every little detail. Her experience as a wedding photographer is impeccable. Laura also has a ton of experience with doing weddings at Johnson's Locust Hall Farm. We did first look photos with our two huskies, and she knew how to capture those special pictures with them paying attention to her. Laura saved the day for us when we had to change our ceremony from outdoor to indoors, she knew exactly what to do to capture stunning wedding moments for us. I was pretty bummed out I was losing sunset pictures with rain and clouds. Laura made up for that by creating the most stunning end of evening images in the old barn on Johnson's farm. Throughout my day, Laura would frequently check in with me to make sure she was capturing every moment we wanted. Laura is also so kind and down to earth. Our images our just stunning and we couldn't be any happier with them. We will definitely be using Laura in the future for other events.

was incredibly professional and kind. She got sneak peeks to us right away. We are so excited to see the rest of our pictures in the next few weeks. I would highly recommend her to anyone! She truly makes it a priority to get exactly what you want without being in your face with pictures.

uickly. The day of the wedding, she kept us on schedule. The photos turned out so well, we are thrilled! She perfectly balanced getting tons of great pictures but also letting us enjoy the day and she made us feel very comfortable posing. She posted previews the night of the wedding (I got them before I went to bed that night, crazy!!)- the pictures she chose for that are among my favorites of the day, and we got out full gallery back in about 2 weeks. She is awesome, you won’t regret using her as your photographer! I’ve

kind person who patiently guided us through the photography process. We created a list of "must have" photos and Laura did each one and more! Laura also helped us put together a timeline for the photos because I wanted posed photos completed before the ceremony. She was incredible at capturing the details of our wedding as well as all of the special and fun moments. Abby was our second photographer for the day of our wedding. Abby was also wonderful and professional. Laura and Abby worked very well together, made the picture process fun, and both were great at blending in capture candid moments. I highly recommend Laura Leigh Photo!

e whole process she was responsive and extremely attentive. We decided to have a second shooter and on our wedding day we met Abby we also exceeded our expectations. Laura made the process of photos as painless as possible, even in the 90 degree heat, and blended in all while capturing our day. I would recommend Laura to any couple who is looking for a photographer to book for their wedding.

l and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone, i couldn't be happier with my pictures

f how important photos are in general, but especially to me since scrapbooking is a hobby. It almost felt too easy looking at Laura’s site to pick her. Amazing quality photos exactly in our budget. From the moment the contract was signed Laura was the lead on our wedding day team. I had no idea that EVERY vendor we worked with would be asking for her timeline and that they would be working off of it. She scheduled two calls with us prior to the wedding, one for the basics and one about a month out to iron out the rest of the details. A day later we had a timeline that covered everything we wanted and more. She has worked at Johnson Locust Hall Farm many times and so had so many recommendations for where to take pictures and when to take pictures without forcing anything on us at all. She was incredibly easy to work and plan with - she even paid attention to our requests and made sure certain people were never paired together in photos which made mine and my husband’s day so much easier. My husband and I knew we wanted outdoor photos at the farm despite it being November in New Jersey and Laura was incredible at suggesting photos that gave the perfect farm background we wanted while a heated barn or back porch was just out of the shot so our wedding party could wait in the warmth. Additionally, neither my husband or I are comfortable in front of the camera, but looking at the final result we both feel like models. Laura helped make us feel so comfortable and suggested poses that would look good and feel natural. I was nervous it would be awkward trying to get photos I knew I wanted but didn’t feel comfortable posing for and Laura made it fun! Laura was incredible at capturing everyone enjoying themselves all without being intrusive or disturbing the flow of the party - I have SEVERAL friends and family members that have printed out or posted her photos that she took of them because they are their new favorite photos (and they weren’t even the bride and groom!) We got 10 teaser photos AN HOUR AND A HALF after our wedding and then we got our final album less than a month after our wedding. Laura is extremely talented, professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with and we could not recommend anyone more than we recommend Laura!

beautiful.. Which makes perfect sense because Laura is the same way. She is such an amazing person to work with and so incredibly professional. I can honestly tell you that once our ceremony started, I didn't see her - but in the best way possible!!!! I've been to so many weddings where the photographer is just in the way and kind of disrupts the flow of the dancefloor, etc. Laura does just the opposite. Her ability to read the room, be "sneaky" but also be exactly where you need her to be when you need her to be is a true show of her professionalism and talent. From start to finish she was flexible, accommodating, communicative and transparent. We cannot thank her enough for the wonderful experience she has provided us. I would not hesitate to recommend her for any of your photography needs but especially your wedding day. I cannot wait to use her again in the future.

l like models. Her personal touch to her work allowed us to have fun during our couples portraits and first look experience. Come time for the group shots, and she was like an MLB manager. ALL of our photos were executed on time and with the utmost efficiency. She additionally checked in prior to leaving, at the agreed upon time, to ensure we had all desired moments captured. Words cannot describe how happy we were with Laura!

ous about being in front of a camera all day; we felt instantly comfortable with Laura and she was able to capture us in a way that makes us feel beautiful and totally like ourselves! Her organization made the day go seamlessly. We really wanted to make it to our cocktail hour, so she expedited the post-ceremony family photos so we had about a half hour to spend enjoying food and drinks! I am so grateful we chose Laura as our photographer and would recommend her to anyone.

always knew how to make my husband and I comfortable. Just having her with me on my wedding day made me feel so calm and so confident that everything was going to be photographed perfectly. Laura is so thorough in making sure she captures everything you want and really makes sure it all gets done that day in an organized fashion. Communication is key when wedding planning and Laura always kept us in the loop about the next steps and when we’d talk again. She had a preview ready for us so soon and our entire gallery was ready within weeks! I would recommend Laura to every bride getting married - and if I had to do it all over again I would choose her again and again.

c, and it was exactly what we needed. She was easy to work with, communicative, and flexible--even when we had to change the date of our wedding. Laura is also just a really nice person and good at putting her subjects at ease! The photos are beautiful and they were ready quickly--only three weeks after the event. I would definitely recommend Laura for wedding photography! Thanks Laura for capturing such beautiful memories.

g) captured every moment so perfectly- we could not be happier!! She was so nice, super organized, and so much fun to work with. Truly the best!!!

eding to ask. We had a lot of uncertainty leading up to the big day, venue and time changes and laura was up for all of it and didn't even bat an eye. She drove out and shot at a location she had never been and she nailed it! We are so happy with all the moments she was able capture. I would definitely recommend her, she made it such a smooth and easy process all the way around! Not to mention I got my photos back so quickly! Thanks laura!

erything - always reaching out with information and ensuring we had everything we needed. She was available for questions and open to any last minute changes we had for our pictures -- including adding a second photographer only weeks before the day! Day of, they were prompt and easy to work with, blending into the background as needed while giving easy direction to follow for all of the portraits. She sent us a few pictures the day after and they are absolutely gorgeous - we can't wait to see the rest. Thank you so much! Danielle and Adam

h. Laura is patient, sweet, creative, responsive, thorough, and genuine. She listens and follows through with any specific requests you have. All you have to do is smile and leave the rest up to her! Directing 17+ people isn’t easy, especially if the partying has already begun, but she succeeded and made transitions between shots seem effortless. Also, her turnaround time was unexpectedly fast, I assumed getting my pictures would take months. Thank you, Laura, for the beautiful pictures you shot!

the day of the wedding, I didn't even notice her taking pictures-- which we liked. I didn't want someone in my face all the time, and she was the exact opposite. She captured so many great moments that I didn't even know about. Highly recommend!!!!

OUR PHOTOS AND WILL CHERISH THEM ALWAYS. She delivered on every request I had. My day was a little hectic with time and she kept her cool and was such a professional. I was also so impressed with how quickly she got pictures to us! Seriously, I don’t think any of my friends got pictures back as fast as we did. BOOK LAURA!

e! It was a pleasure to work with her and have her be a part of our day. We’ve only just begun to get our shots, but I can already tell they are what we dreamed of and we will have MANY to choose from!

us even though that is not her normal style of photography. I also wanted more retouching and she also accommodated. That was nice because some photographers will not accommodate you because they have a specific style they don’t want to stray from. Laura is also very in the background during the wedding which is nice in one sense because she is never in the way or distracting! There were pictures I was surprised she got because I had no idea she was there! She takes a bunch of pictures in a short period of time. We didn’t do a first look so we had very limited time to take couple shots, but Laura got so many! In total we had 865! Also, we were specific about the types of shots we wanted and she was always checking her sheet to make sure she was taking the ones we wanted. She even had some pictures printed out that I had sent her from Pinterest. Lastly, I will say that she is a great value! We had 9 hours of coverage and an engagement session for under $3k! This is VERY hard to come by nowadays! CONS I will preface this with the fact that I’m pretty picky in general about photos and somewhat traditional. If you like staged photos where everyone’s bouquet is at the same height and everyone is looking at the camera, Laura may not be the photographer for you. I loved the majority of our photos and I understand that it is hard to direct a large group of people; however, we have some photos where people are not paying attention and one person has their bouquet down and the other has it in the air. It would have been nice for Laura to direct the girls to place their bouquets down in front so everyone looked the same. Again, this may not be something that bothers you; however, to me it is annoying when everyone looks good expect for one or two people in a photo. Overall, like I mentioned, I think because Laura tends to be more in the background, she is quiet and has more of a difficult time directing people. There was a shot I was taking with my bridesmaids and I found myself directing more so than her because the girls were confused as to what they needed to do. I also would have appreciated some feedback from her. For instance, I have been in weddings when the photographers take a pic and then say how great everything looks to encourage you. Laura is not like this and did not provide any compliments or feedback when she was shooting. Also, I like shots from different angels and she tends to shoot straight on in most photos. There were also two tables she missed taking photos of (card table, bar table) and then she never took a photo of us at our sweetheart table with our champagne glasses. And the last thing I will say is that it took about a month to get our photos, but she does let you know that ahead of time. So if you want your pictures quickly, just be aware of this. Overall, I think Laura is a great photographer and an excellent value. You can’t beat it! My cons are just things to be aware of if they bother you. Otherwise, I have no hesitation in recommending her! Happy planning!

ra has been great to work with since our first meeting, she was very organized and prepared! She had our questionnaire printed out with her the day of the wedding and we didn’t miss a photo opportunity! I will definitely be reaching out to Laura for the next time I need professional photos done !

aptured every moment of the wedding. We would highly recommend her!

y, as well as amazing details and posed pictures. My husband and I are both super awkward in front of cameras, but Laura made everything effortless. Her direction was exactly what we needed and the end result is incredible. We were also really surprised with the amazing variety of shots she got as we didn't even notice her moving around! We couldn't have asked for anyone better to have captured our day.

ing, all of our interactions were extremely positive and she made us feel at ease. She also was extremely helpful in creating a wedding timeline for our photos. The day of the wedding Laura captured every detail perfectly. We are so happy we booked with Laura Leigh Photo!

zing the day of my wedding and she never once complained, and pushed us to get some amazing pictures outside. We are so happy we used Laura and I would highly recommend working with her for your big event!

Thank you, Laura!

the best photos of our day and we were right - they are beautiful, captured every moment (even ones that I missed) and they're all so natural and in the moment. Love looking through them remember our wedding. Highly recommended!

sband and I did a first look before our ceremony, and she captured the moment beautifully! One of my favorite pictures is actually of when he first turned around and saw me. I gave her a list of names of all those that we wanted picture with before and after our ceremony and she did a fabulous job of getting them done and everything came out perfect! I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a photographer!

ellent service, great to work with, the best quality of pictures! Overall I am totally satisfied with Laura she is very professional and will make the best out of your Big day!

our photos PERFECT, but we received all of our finished photos within 30 days from our wedding!!! We LOVE every single picture!! She managed to capture every amazing moment, but you didn't even realize she was there!!! She is so easy going and makes you feel like your hanging out with a friend!! I plan to use her for any future photography needs!! Thanks Laura!!!!!

eanor helped keep our day stress free. She was well-prepared and had listened to what we wanted. We got our photos in a month (couldn't believe how fast) and they came out great! We were impressed with how many wonderful shots she got. We definitely recommend her.

sy and expensive pictures we'd never use. We LOVED these pictures so much we selected Laura to shoot our wedding. She showed up early, took tons of pictures, and captured some truly special moments. Not to mention that we got more than 600 photos, and we got them within two weeks of our wedding! When there were pictures where someone wasn't smiling or blinked I sent her a list of those and when she was able, she sent me alternates - and within a day! We highly recommend working with Laura.

h a creative eye. Our wedding photos were unbelievable! I could not be happier. She got every detail that was so important to me. She is so kind and a pleasure to be around. We can not thank her enough!

a great but affordable photographer!

her blog so far, so I'm sure we will love the final product. Her photos are creative, she is not invasive at the wedding, and everyone loved her. It seemed like every time I thought something would make a cute picture, I'd look up, and she was already taking it. She listens to what you want, and makes sure you get it. She came highly recommended by others, and I know I'll be recommending her to others.
