l communication was professional, the contract was professional, her reviews seemed very good and her portfolio was in line with what we wanted. We felt we did our research to ensure she was the right person. The wedding was Saturday, a ferry ride to the island was needed to make sure she got there. I had paid for her ferry ticket as part of her deposit. Wednesday before the wedding I started reaching out to confirm details and ferry time. No response. Reached out via phone and email Thursday still no response. Friday morning the morning before the wedding I’m now freaking out. Started calling, texting, Facebook messaging at 8am. By 1 or 2pm no response. Thankfully our caterer was connected and helped us find someone very last minute through a local Cape Coral group. The person contracted to assist her happened to see the post and asked her if the wedding booked on the island was still on because she saw someone desperate to get hair and makeup because their artist was not responding. It was finally at I believe 2:30 pm the day before the wedding she responded to say we were still good. At that point we had already booked someone else because we hadn’t heard anything back. When she did respond I let her know we had to go a different direction because of her lack of response over days and us not knowing if she was going to fulfill her contract. I let her know if she charged my card for the remaining balance would dispute it…10 minutes later I had a email from her saying she charged my card. After speaking to the stylists that helped us and others in the area I found out that her unprofessionalism is very well known in the area. Apparently she has shown up late and not able to do hair and makeup for all contracted parties multiple times but the expressed what we experienced was on a completely other level. I have zero confidence she would have made it to our appt on time or if at all and was so thankful to have the last minute stylists we got! Please please please do not put yourself through the same thing we went through and find someone else. She was so incredibly close to ruining a huge day for my best friend. There were many years shed and unnecessary stress felt because of her lack of professionalism.

ke up and she made my face not only look flawless but didn’t make me look like a clown, which was nice. Natural is what I liked with just a hint of color. I would totally recommend her to do your special day or for any other occasion you may have.
