I promise you. Laura is reliable and what she produces is quality. From the very beginning it was evident Laura was undeniably talented at photography and that she has a passion for people. If her past work isn't proof enough, let me be the first to recommend you to hire Laura for your engagement photos, wedding or special event.
From the first meeting with had with Laura, we had full confidence in her and that she would make our engagement/wedding vision come true. Not only was Laura amazing to work with; detail oriented. timely, organized, but we became friends over time and had great conversations.
If you are not local to Wisconsin, do not let that hinder you from hiring her. Laura not only encouraged us to have her fly to Pismo Beach, CA (where we got engaged) to shoot our engagement photos, but made the planning process easy and seamless. She genuinely loves the opportunity to travel We shot all weekend and had many laughs along the way. Laura not only blew our expectations out of the water, but to this day, family and friends talk about our engagement photos and how amazing they are.
Our Wisconsin wedding just happened late Oct. 2023, so we are still awaiting our wedding photos, but I have no doubt that Laura will have done it again!
An honorable mention for Kyle, her husband and second shooter. He was also great to work with and brought humor to shoots. He was present at both our engagement shoot and wedding, it's evident the love and support he has for Laura.
I'm certain throughout the years that we will remain in contact with Laura, and we would love to have her someday do my maternity or family photos. I'm sure our family and friends will be reaching out as her newest clientele as well.

your photographer can be daunting, it’s a large cost and a one time event. After meeting Laura the nervousness melted away. She had great questions and really cared about me. Laura is personable, kind and perfessional. I booked right away! Laura reached out periodically to see if I had any questions or concerns. The morning of my wedding I got the sweetest thoughtful text. She goes above and beyond to make sure she not only captures the best moments, but also make you feel extremely comfortable at the same time. My fiance and I were both very nervous for our engagement photos, as we had never really posed for professional pictures beyond our high school senior photos. Laura made us feel completely comfortable and had us laughing the entire time, which if you have ever tried to fake a laugh for a photo you know it always turns out awful, but all of our laughing photos were natural and turned out amazing. She does this all while maintaining such a high level of professionalism. We have received so many compliments on our photos and had a very hard time picking our favorites because we love them all. We were truly blessed to have such an amazing photographer capture our memories that we will be able to look back on and enjoy for years to come.

You do not see repeated poses or the same shot being done over and over through out her clients. She is very easy to work with and gives you great direction. I have worked with Laura for my engagement and wedding photos and I was so pleased with both she doesn't just take pictures she captures memories. nventional venue and she came up with creative poses, angles, and even color combinations that ended up creating such beautiful photos! Laura is sweet and soft which is so nice to have on your special day, but at the same time professional and in charge which is so important when having to direct many friends and family members. She isn’t afraid to do what it takes to get the shot but it never felt like she was in the way or took away from a moment. Her editing was on spot and in a timely manner. You will never be disappointed. She will go above and beyond. She chased us through my grandmothers greenhouse for my crazy idea and had my husband and I twirl in a compost pile that ended up to be one of my favorite from our engagement photos. She also surprised the day of our viewing with a video she made for us. We did not have a videographer the day of our wedding and she made something we will cherish for a lifetime. She watched us cry happy tears all day at our wedding and *BAM* here we both were crying again over how beautiful this video was. She has taken all of our professional photos for years now. From my baby’s bewborns, to a mommy and me, to our engagement and wedding. I always have the faith that she will give us those magical images. You will not find better. She is the best.
