an eye for capturing the best shots for our wedding day. She and I met about 10 months prior to our wedding date. We went over options and she listened to what I had envisioned. Laura even made an itinerary that early on to give me a snapshot (no pun intended) of the outline of our day. I felt so much better having this at our first meeting so I could know what the day would look like. Laura and I had two phone calls a few weeks before the wedding to discuss any and all of the details such as family portraits, tips on what I need to do to be ready for her, and our timeline of the day. She had been at our venue before so she knew exactly where she wanted us for the first look, other portraits of us, and our wedding party. Deonna, her second photographer, was amazing as well! She was able to capture shots with my husband as he was getting ready and did the groomsmen while Laura photographed me and my bridesmaids before our First Look. Everything stayed perfectly on time and we were even able to capture the sunset since she did her research on the time and where to get that shot best. The family photos after the ceremony went so smoothly since Deonna would call out who was up next. I didn't want to take too much time here as I wanted to greet my guests and enjoy cocktail hour. Laura was so calm and got me anything I needed, too. We got our photos back also and I don't even know where to begin to describe these. They were just beautiful. I am amazed and beyond impressed at the clarity of the photos and detailed work of these photographers. Their talent is truly evident in these photos we will have forever. Laura, and her assistant Deonna, were so patient and organized even when our transportation to the picture location (carrying more than half the wedding party) arrived almost 45 minutes later than expected. They handled it like pros! She still managed to wrangle everyone throughout the chaos and totally went with the flow. They still got all the images checked off the list. We had constant comments all day long about how professional they were from everyone who came in contact with them. Everyone, including us, is gushing over the sneak peek photos she has posted. We can't wait to see the rest because we are so confident they will be equally amazing!

Lara also took our engagement pictures downtown Chicago. We lucked out and had perfect fall weather for the shoot and Laura knew the best spots in the city that fit with our style. The engagement shoot helped us get comfortable with taking pictures and Laura captured so many amazing shots, it was hard to pick a favorite! Prior to our big day, my husband and I went back and forth between deciding whether or not to do a first look, (if you're in this same boat, do the first look! So worth it) and throughout this decision making process Laura was there to answer all of our questions and gave the best advice. The greatest thing about this was that she was so flexible and we never felt pressured to make the decision to add more time in order to do the first look. During the time between booking and the wedding day, Laura was extremely quick with responding to emails which definitely eliminated a lot of stress. Finally our day came and Laura and her partner perfectly captured everything from getting ready to our guests on the dance floor. She suggested Cantigny park for our wedding party photos and we couldn't be happier! Laura and her partner knew the best spots at the park for gorgeous pictures with the group and with just my husband and I. We had a large wedding party, 16 people, which could have caused chaos but thanks to Laura, everything went smoothly and efficiently. We would highly recommend Laura. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture the best day ever!

est choice for us. We did our engagement pictures downtown Chicago last holiday season, and they were stunning. We had so many great shots it was difficult to choose a photo for our save the date! Laura really listened to what we wanted out of our photos and gave us exactly the feel that we wanted, and she was really fun and upbeat to work with. She made a timeline to ensure that we got all of the photos and family shots that we wanted. When it came to the day of the wedding, Laura arrived early and was ready to go (even before I was!). She was prompt and very organized with our larger bridal party (6 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen). Taking the photos was actually fun with all the ideas she had for us! After our wedding day, we got our 'highlight' photos back really quickly-around 10-14 days. We were speechless at how beautiful they were. Shortly after, we received our full gallery and all the photos are amazing. I've received SO many compliments. I am so happy with how they all turned out, and Laura really captured our wedding day. We had a great mixture of posed photos and candid shots. Her website is very easy to navigate to view the photos. The only downside is that we have too many AMAZING pictures, we can't decide which ones to get printed! Huge thanks to Laura for capturing my wedding day so I can relive it for years to come!

She was with the bridesmaids and I as we got ready in the bridal cottage at Cantigny, while Mike photographed the groomsmen and my husband before we all met up for the first look. During the wedding, they captured so many amazing moments, it was nearly impossible to pick our favorites. Not only were Laura and Mike great photographers, but Laura helped with everything from carrying extra lipstick for me to fixing the bustle on my dress! After the ceremony, we got the photos after not too long of a wait, and we were thrilled! If you book Laura and Mike you will NOT regret it! Turn around time has been fair since photographers spend time editing, etc and of course have other weddings to manage. The pricing / packages were clear and easy to understand.
