lained I wanted her to primarily document key moments vs every moment. She was so professional and experienced that she was able to parse back and nail it. Without a first-look and formal photo session before the wedding, we were isolated to the cocktail hour. She was able to find the perfect backdrops around our venue to get people in place, snap the photo, and send them back to the fun of cocktail hour. She was able to blend into the excitement of the day to be everywhere without being obviously in everyone's face. Her demeanor on the day-of was so professional and relaxed that it made the photo process stress-free. Then within days of the wedding, she was already finishing editing photos for her blog, with the full set in less than a month. I was so impressed with the quality of the shots I doubled down and am having her do a photobook as well. Overall, she was extremely flexible and professional from start to finish with a stunning end product that leaves family and friends going - who was the photographer!

Our wedding photos turned out better than I could have imagined. Laura captured little moment and every emotion. Laura is quiet, and it isn't really her style to corral people or to do much directing of the shots. That was a little concerning to me at the time, but looking at the pictures, I had nothing to worry about. Laura doesn't need to shout commands to set up a perfect picture - she knows how to capture amazing shots that happen all on their own. The result are photographs that are real and natural, rather than staged. I really couldn't be happier with our wedding pictures, and now my only problem is trying to decide which ones to frame.

Laura was so easy to work with and has an eye for creating gorgeous photos. I have seen some photographers that will make your wedding look like a magazine photo shoot and others that look like I paid my 10 year old cousin. But Laura's capture the day and the people as it happened with some how making them look even better than you remembered the day yourself. And that is what a great photographer should do.
I will definitely be using Laura again. She does a lot of family portraits and whether me and my husband would just like more photos of us or we want pictures of our first child we will be going to to her.
