Laura was wonderful to work with.

We cannot say enough about Laura! My husband and I are extremely awkward people, but she made us feel so comfortable and look super great during both our engagement photos and our wedding photos! She gives such great direction and tells you exactly what to do to look and feel your best. She is also really encouraging and even if you feel silly having your photo taken, her reaction to the photos and the images she is creating make you feel so beautiful and happy. Laura also has an extremely artistic eye. We had a few favorite spots picked out in a state park for our engagement photos, but Laura knew which spots would look the best in our photos, and my absolute favorite images from the engagement session were in an area only she would have known would be perfect. On our wedding day, in the chaos leading up to the wedding, Laura was a constant source of calm. She was exactly the type of energy I needed and wanted to be around. She enforced a fantastic timeline that helped me escape from the chaos and focus on the joy of the day! The proof is in the pudding- our photos are so EFFING beautiful. We will treasure them forever. Laura is hands-down the best person to have capture your big day. She is truly talented and makes you feel so comfortable and confident in your photos. We used Laura for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and for our wedding day. EVERY.SINGLE.SHOOT was flawless work by her. Our engagement photos were outside and a cold front had come about an hour before and our faces were red, my hair was everywhere, I was shivering, and you couldn't tell AT ALL. We even had our very hyper dog with us for our engagement shoot and she worked so well with us, even when our sweet dog was a bit wild at times. My husband even loved Laura! He was super nervous about a photo shoot and feeling "awkward" but he said he had never felt so comfortable posing in front of someone and this is exactly how Laura makes everyone feel! She is the sweetest soul, your biggest cheerleader behind the lens, and an all-around amazing photographer. We have not received our wedding photos yet, but I am confident they will be perfect. I absolutely recommend her for ANY photos you need!

LAURA MADE OUR WEDDING ROCK!! Having a good photographer is extremely important - these pictures will be the memories that you look back on for the rest of your life and show the kids and grandkids for years to come!! But if you book with Laura, you won’t have to worry about a thing! She truly wants the best pictures for you! My husband and I are pretty terrible in front of the camera but somehow, she turns you into straight up models with her photography skills! She is so talented in knowing what looks good and she works so hard at paying attention to the little details! Then when the actual picture taking is going on, she EVER SO SWEETLY YET SO CLEARLY tells you what to do (like “hand in pocket”, “look this way”, “lower the bouquets”) which puts everyone at ease because you know we are all standing there thinking does this look weird? I highly recommend booking her for both your engagement and wedding photography! You will get some HIGH QUALITY photos if you do!!

Laura is AMAZING. Her energy is unmatched, and her excitement is infectious. Adam was amazing as well! We had her booked for a bridal shoot and the wedding, and the bridal photos turned out amazing ❤️ she sent us a couple of sneak peeks photos and they’re GORGEOUS! I can’t wait to see the rest!!

Laura and her husband Adam shot our wedding a couple weekends ago. They are an absolute joy to work with, so kind and warm, and were perfectly respectful of my home parish's (very, VERY) strict photography guidelines. Unfortunately, it rained on my wedding day right up until my ceremony, so I didn't get to take any bridal portraits at my venue while my hair was still curled and my dress was clean, but I look forward to a second session with Laura to take some bridal photos to add into a memory book for myself and my husband! Everyone commented on our stellar photographer at the wedding, and I would recommend her to all my engaged friends!! She kept the day running smoothly, and was easy to communicate with before, during and after the wedding. We even got some sneak peak photos from her two days later! The pictures are perfect and I cannot wait to get the rest.

My husband and I absolutely loved having Laura Watson Photography shoot our engagement and wedding photos. Laura Watson photography did both our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. I can’t fully describe in words just how perfect everything turned out. Laura is so kind and immediately puts you at ease. My husband and I were able to be ourselves around her immediately, affording us the best photos. Engagements: Our engagement session was the perfect time for Laura to get to know us and learn a lot about our particular style. She caught on quickly to what we wanted and she was able to see opportunities for the perfect shot. She made us feel known and cared for. Laura was willing to adventure with us to get outdoor shots that were really important to us. Wedding: Laura was incredibly organized on the day of our wedding. Before the wedding, she asked great questions and intentionally sought out our hopes and desires for the way our wedding would be captured. She and her team did a great job rallying the large groups of family and wedding party for the photos. Each one was beautiful, creative, and unique. She was able to capture the elegance and sweetness of our ceremony, as well as the fun movement of our reception. The photos perfectly captured what the day felt like to us- full of sweet moments and wild celebration. I can’t believe how quickly she got our photos to us! She works swiftly and with precision. My husband and I were so pleased with how everything turned out. I cannot recommend Laura more highly. We were so lucky to have her as a part of our day!

Laura took our proposal pictures and our engagement photos and we LOVE them! She is so fun and easy to work with. She is so positive and encouraging. We love our pictures and would recommend her 100%!

Laura took some couples pictures for my wife and I - in addition to taking some business pictures for my wife. The work speaks for itself! But what really stood out to me was how comfortable I was while she was taking the pictures. I don't like taking pictures but Laura did a great job of making it feel fun and making it an enjoyable experience for us. I, myself, have worked as a wedding videographer before and I have known a lot of photographers, and Laura is one of the best!
