On our wedding day Laura’s advance planning of pictures and a schedule for the day with suggestions based on her experience was IMMENSELY helpful. Not to mention she will do whatever it takes to get the perfect picture - on the ground or climbing rocks and freezing her fingers off during a late October maternity shoot! She can wrangle our crazy dog who is always on the move (both in the park and in her studio!) and can also expertly and patiently place tiny newborn baby hands and feet for the perfect picture. With all the craziness that can come with the wedding day, pets, or babies Laura is exceptional at getting us in the moment and helping to bring out our silly relaxed side - and yet somehow also catches when we have our hands awkwardly placed, rings off center, or a hair tie on wrist! As a bride, I did not realize the many moments throughout the day I missed that she caught such as the minister’s facial expression when he accidently dropped my ring during the wedding ceremony. Or, when she captured me kiss and place my late parents’ rings in my dress pocket before walking down the aisle. Going through our complete online photo gallery for the first time not only allowed me to look back on the memories of the day but see it from a more complete perspective and appreciate it even more. Our guests commented on her approach/presence throughout the day and commented on how she blended into the backdrop. I cannot say enough about her professionalism.
