She has a great process to get to know her wedding couples as well as to organize the wedding day photo-timeline (getting ready, newlywed photos, family groupings, etc.). She was always so prompt and helpful whenever we had questions. And most importantly, the photos she took were truly stunning. She has a catalog of her past engagement, wedding, and family photo sessions on her website that showcase how skilled a photographer she is. She captured so many wonderful moments during our engagement photo shoot and our wedding day. Everything from the lighting and framing of the photos, to the emotion and the smiles and the fun — she captured it all beautifully.

ss. When it came to our wedding day, we knew that we would be in great hands and would have nothing to worry about. She made us feel so comfortable around the camera and made taking pictures so fun and one of our favorite memories from the day. We had quite the large bridal party, and had a lot of photo requests, and she managed to get every single one done and keep our big group in line with a smile on her face the entire time. Throughout the night, she was on the dance floor the entire time taking so many fun shots of everyone dancing. She got us all of our photos back in less than 3 weeks and each one was better than the last! Our family and friends can't stop raving about the photos and how amazing Laura was. We wish we could relive the day all over again, but we are so grateful to have all of the amazing photos that make us feel like we are back at our wedding day every time we look at them!

rom the moment we met her at our engagement shoot, we felt completely comfortable around her, and as a couple who had never done a photo shoot before, she made it feel easy. She brings a calm energy that is very soothing, but she also knows how to joke around and bring laughs. She is exactly who we needed! Her photographic skills are out of this world, and she is insanely quick in getting photos back to you. She and her second shooter, Shayla, worked insanely efficiently during group photos, and they were both so lovely to be around. We used Andover Media for videography, and Justinian and Laura worked extremely well together and added a very fun dynamic to the day. er was nothing but pure joy. She is organized, prompt, skilled, and a great communicator, which is exactly what you need on one of the most important days of your life! I was referred to her by another photographer, but I am so thankful I went with her. For our engagement shoot, we chose a local brewery that at the time had never had anyone ask to take professional photos there. Laura arrived early to scope out the location, work with the proprietor, and make sure she had the best vision for our session. She made us both comfortable and handled the crowds well. The photos were so unique and I loved how they turned out. She captured our aesthetic, while still thinking outside of the box of typical engagement photos. We got the photos back almost immediately, which was fantastic for save the dates and wedding planning purposes. For our wedding she was once again wonderful. We spoke a few times to make sure that the timing and photo schedule was set. I felt comfortable knowing we had a plan and that her and her assistant would be there pushing us along and getting everything that we wanted. She scoped out the location and was prepared for weather changes. We got lucky and the rain subsided in the afternoon, leading to beautiful outside photos, even with the cold! Both her and her assistant captured so many precious moments, from the getting ready, first look, family shots, ceremony, and fantastic shots during the Hora! She was also flexible to a few changes on the spot, which was important. She timely turned the photos around and made sure they were available both by flash drive and in an online portal. A few important things that stuck out to me about how Laura conducts her business that I believe are imperative for people to know and choose her. First, she is kind and works well with others, such as my makeup artist, other vendors, and more and makes sure to credit them in her posts of the event. Second, I really appreciate her social media etiquette. She makes sure to tag her clients if they wish on her Instagram and Facebook, which to me shows that she cares about her clients and what she shoots. Finally, I love the blog posts of her sessions. These were incredibly helpful to me to get an idea of how she shoots wedding and other big life events, and the blog from our wedding is something I cherish dearly and go back to often. ! We had a great first meeting and I felt very excited about our decision. Fast forward to our engagement shoot, she really made us feel comfortable while even having some fun. We brought our dog and she did such a great job capture our little family (our dog is a natural in front of the camera). The day of the wedding, she spent most of the time with me while her second shooter, Rachel Fry, was with my husband. Laura really walked me through the day, being more than just a photographer. She made sure to get all the requested photos and so much more with a smile on her face. I look back on the day and remember how much fun we had after the ceremony taking our couple pictures with Laura. She knew exactly what to say to make us laugh and smile. After the wedding, she very quickly sent us a cute blog with what she called previews, but felt more like an entire wedding album. All the photos were AMAZING and I catch myself reliving our special day through those pictures. She truly cared about learning about me and my fiancée to help us get the types of shots we wanted and she was so personable. The photos seemed so genuine and beautiful and she made our shoot so fun. When covid hit and made us change our wedding plans we decided to elope abroad which ruined our plan of having her shoot our day. Laura offered to come with us and make it all work which is literally unheard of! I was so excited that she was willing to do it but unfortunately our dates didn’t align right when the date had to be changed along with it. Laura and her second shooter, Theresa, worked so incredibly hard during the wedding ceremony and reception to capture all of our special moments and the moments we didn't even know happened among our friends and family! Her work provided us with a complete view of our wedding so we say what happened the entire day from start to finish! During the ceremony and reception, they were constantly looking and photographing moments between us and our guests as well as among our guests. We were in a park and a pavilion for the ceremony and reception and Laura and Theresa would crouch on the ground and climb over the pavilion walls just to get the perfect photo. They are so dedicated to capturing all those special moments. They see an opportunity for photo and take it, but they ensured they were documenting the day without interfering with the event, i.e. no pulling us away from family and friends during the day, no awkward posed photos. Laura's style of photography is documentary and that's what makes her photos so special. She captures the joy in your eyes as it happens. Looking back at the photos, you can remember the feeling you had in that moment she captured and relive it. Her photos are just magical! Laura got us our photos so quickly, it was mind blowing! We received a single photo preview just a couple days after the wedding, our blog post was done less than a week after the wedding, and we received all our of photos in less than 2 weeks after the wedding. It was really great and satisfying to have a continuous flow of photos so soon after the event! I only have good things to say about Laura, so save your self some time researching wedding photographers and hire Laura today! I knew immediately that great photos would mean everything to me, and I could not have asked for more from our exceptional experience of working with Laura. I am not super comfortable in front of a camera (and I am not as photogenic as my husband). I recognize this is because I am animated and talkative--perfectly reasonable things in real life but often pretty terrible in photographs!--but Laura managed to catch some truly lovely moments of us...and I absolutely LOVE the pictures of the details, the space, and our loved ones. I had my heart pretty set on being outside (and we used our own pictures of our venue's beautiful riverfront and extensive grounds for our invitations and webpage!), but the universe had other plans...and there are so many ways the rain worked to our advantage in terms of getting our people to interact and our enjoying a very intimate and intensely supportive vibe during our ceremony. Turns out, the universe knew better than I did! I am so grateful, though, that Laura was willing and able to run around outside in the wind and rain with us--we are outside people, and those photos are among my (many!) favorites. I love all the green and the river in the background and the puddles and the umbrellas. Laura made it work so well! In fact, Laura made absolutely everything work so well. She was in control without being short-tempered, she was patient and generous and imaginative, she made us comfortable (as we were endeavoring to navigate many diverse emotions), and she never interfered with the experience of the wedding (even as she was doing an excellent job of capturing it)! I admit I was worried I would be very aware of her--that has been my experience with previous wedding photography--but Laura and Jess were where they needed to be without ever intruding--quite a feat! And so appreciated! And the photos have brought me such incomparable joy. Laura captured a couple dear folks I came home without pictures of (thank you, thank you, thank you!) and she created a beautiful expression of the narrative of our joyful experience (no small thing to two English teachers who both love stories and have been pretty awed that either of us ended up married!). Laura's talents are in the photography itself but also in her sensitivity to the pieces and people we care about...and the day we hope never to forget. I have to say I feel pretty satisfied with most of the decisions we made as we planned and celebrated our wedding...and choosing to work with Laura is at the top of that list. Her personality was SUCH a good fit for my husband and me...and the beautiful work Laura did will keep us company in so many ways. I cannot recommend her enough!

Come the day of our wedding, Laura’s calm, but focused attitude made the getting ready photos stress free. We did not do a first look and had many formal family photos so we did not make it easy on her!
