For my wedding, 2 family members gifted us work by Lauren. Hands down, my FAVORITE wedding presents! The first gift was a hand drawn portrait of my husband & me. It looks EXACTLY like us, as if it was a photograph. I can’t comprehend her level of talent! It’s framed in our home, we get compliments on it ALL the time & it brings a smile to my face *every* time I look at it. The second was our sign-in board. Lauren painted a HUGE canvas with the Philadelphia skyline. We live in South Jersey, but got married in Philly. Lauren had the VERY creative idea to paint the skyline from the vantage point of going over the bridge from Jersey to Philly, literally emulating the way we traveled to our own wedding. These are the special details you can expect while working with Lauren! After painting the background - in our wedding colors & style - Lauren made a whimsically styled picture of my husband & me in our wedding garb. Then, she made other pieces, like the bridge from Jersey to Philly & attached these pieces with foam so it had a multi-layered, 3D kind-of effect. Lauren also cut out silhouettes of balloons (also in our wedding colors). On our wedding day, our guests signed & wrote a little message on a balloon. After our wedding, Lauren attached the balloons in the same multi-layered/3d style and attached strings to them. She then attached the other side of the strings to the “hands” of the picture of me & my husband, so it looked like we were holding the balloons! The canvas is hanging in our bedroom. It is a constant reminder of our special day & all the people who came to help us celebrate. I CAN NOT say enough positive things about Lauren. We will definitely hire her again! The next project will be a watercolor portrait of our family. If you are thinking about hiring Lauren… DO IT!
