The schedule and artist team were approved in advance, and the three artists assigned are all experienced lead artists on my team. Your group also got ready with these same artists on two separate occasions, and on both occasions they expressed to the artists that they were happy with their services. The team actually finished ahead of schedule, so three artists were sufficient for the number of services booked. As is typical when I am not personally servicing the bride, my team handles the wedding day independently according to the approved schedule. I also understand there were several significantly late appointments and some no-shows, which the team worked around while still completing everyone ahead of schedule. I genuinely wish I had known you were feeling frustrated at the time. Had any concerns been brought to my attention, I absolutely would have done everything I could to address them and make adjustments. The concern was brought to my attention before our designated touch-up period, and I explained that I would absolutely address it during touchups, as I was also mindful of keeping the morning on schedule for the bride and the rest of the services. When I realized she was uncomfortable waiting, I went ahead and personally blended and adjusted the area beforehand. I also offered a few different options for addressing it so we could find what she felt most comfortable with. During our scheduled touchups, I checked with her again about the lash and she told me she was comfortable with it, after which I completed the remainder of her makeup touchups. I’m very sorry if my communication during that interaction came across as anything other than helpful. I was trying to give my professional opinion, explain the options available, and keep the wedding morning running on time, but I completely understand that tone and intention can sometimes be received differently. Regarding the later hourly touchup coverage, my assistant Gurjeet was scheduled to provide this service, and we had discussed whether she should follow the bride or remain in the bridal suite and come when contacted. The bridal suite was chosen. There was clearly a misunderstanding surrounding her briefly stepping away when the suite was empty, and I apologize for any inconvenience that caused. I truly enjoyed spending the morning with you and your family and was saddened to learn afterward that your experience felt differently.
