For your trial, you had me stay for over an hour for you to try different ways to drape your duppata in front of your family, which I do not include in my trial and never had a South Asian bride do that before. This is one of the many things where you had me waiting and I did not say or charge for any extra time. I stayed with a smile on my face and offered suggestions When I did the high ponytail half up half down for your Sangeet, it was a suggestion I gave to you because you were extremely upset with your waxer for making a mistake with your sideburns and you wanted to hide it. That was something I could not fix for you and did not have the ability to do so in the time frame we had initially planned for. I never told you confident girls are the only ones who can wear the look- I would never say this, I might of said glam girls can wear it, which is just the type of verbiage I use to describe a more intricately styled look. You also made me wait about 45 minutes to make up your mind on the hairstyle and then began to give me feedback while I was still in the process of doing it on how horrible the look I suggested was, which took time away from the draping. I apologize to you having to miss family pictures on this night, I truly could not plan for the missed time throughout the process. To clear up the wedding day, your hair and makeup was exactly what you wanted- natural makeup and the hair was styled perfectly in a bun. You were 30 minutes late to The Rockleigh on your wedding morning so that did push your time back a little, but I believe you and I were both satisfied with the outcome for hair and makeup . For the reception, again, you were over a half hour late to your allotted time. When something like this happens, I can only do so much in the time given to me. However I believe again, we both were very satisfied with the entire look besides the height of your swoop that we ended up pulling down. Unfortunately yes, I had a hard time draping since you were very particular and had a very hard material to pleat the night of your sangeet, I didn’t realize I never worked on that material before . I included this service free to you since I wanted to learn more after taking a few classes and having some success with other South Asian brides in the past. However, I will admit I’m not a professional Draper and since then I told my South Asian brides I will not be providing this free service anymore. You didn’t pay me the rest of the balance which basically covered your whole Sangeet look and part of your wedding look . So there’s not much more I could even do for you. I am truly very sorry you and I didn’t connect, I had to share my side and hope you understand where I am coming from. This does not happen often to me but you seemed impossible to please and I honestly tried my hardest all of your events.
