When it came time to book our photographer I knew right away I wanted to book Lauren, and thankfully she was still available for our wedding date! Our engagement session with Lauren was so much fun and I was SO happy with how the pictures turned out. Lauren kept in contact with my husband and I throughout the whole year of our engagement and made sure to check in with us periodically. As time got closer Lauren sent us a photography timeline that was so helpful and had a huge hand in making our wedding day go by smoothly. Finally our day came around and I cannot give Lauren enough praises! From the start of the day Lauren was there shooting the details and working right along side our wedding coordinator to make sure we were staying on track with the timeline and everything worked out flawlessly. She was there from beginning to end making sure she got all the shots on my shot list. My husband and I were ecstatic to find our wedding pictures in my inbox less than a week later while on our honeymoon! The pictures were amazing and everything was beyond our imagination. The lighting, colors and crispness of the photos were exactly how I had imagined them! I have gotten nothing but compliment after compliment on the pictures and I seriously look through them at least 3 times a week now and have also ordered many off her website and the quality is amazing! is not only a good friend of mine, but an unbelievable talent in photography and incredible at making everyone feel SO, so comfortable. From the time we booked Lauren all the way through (and after) the wedding day, she was there for us in any way we needed. Lauren sent sweet notes during the engagement for encouragement - she was SO responsive with any questions I had during this time. On the wedding day, it goes by so fast!! But I'll never forget how professional and personal Lauren was April 16 this year. She followed the very detailed timeline she created and was extremely calm in getting several people together for photos (it was a bit crazy with 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen - not to mention big families on either side!). As a couple, my husband and I felt incredibly comfortable taking candid shots with her - Lauren would constantly shout out "Beautiful!" "Ya'll look great!" and just made us feel so relaxed and encouraged - this of course translated into the most amazing, quality, and genuine photos from our big day. We received the wedding photos SO fast. When we were on the flight back from the honeymoon it was a ton of fun being able to look through them all. My husband and I are more than pleased with our wedding photos, and we have received a ton of compliments from people who attended and didn't attend the wedding on how great the pictures are. Finally, it is huge when many of our best friends from the wedding party talked about their awesome experience with the photographer as well. We just love Lauren! I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for an engagement and/or wedding photographer. She is your girl!!

can sometimes be awkward, Lauren instantly makes you feel comfortable by talking you through the shoot and providing words of encouragement. After our engagement shoot with her, I knew we picked the best photographer. Her turn around time on editing our pictures was remarkable. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier! We can't stop scrolling through them and have said "I love that one" to every single photo. There's no doubt in my husband's or my mind that we chose the best photographer and we will definitely be using Lauren again for our future photography needs!

Lauren goes above and beyond to make you feel like you are her only concern. Throughout the process, her professionalism and sweet personality made me completely confident that I was going to get the best pictures. From bringing umbrellas so we could take pictures in the rain to making us feel completely at ease, Lauren made sure our day was as special as we had hoped. Our day(s) with her were perfect, and our photos are beautiful. We get compliments on the photography from family, friends, and other photographers all of the time. . -- If you think about it, when everything is said and done at the end of the day, one of the only things that you physically have to remember your wedding day are pictures. Therefore, mine had to be superb. I knew I wanted to use Lauren as my wedding photographer the moment I saw her website/blog! The pictures I saw were breathtaking. I loved her style and it was exactly what I was looking for. Lauren’s creativity is brilliant! From our very first FaceTime encounter, Lauren was an absolute joy to work with! She was so sweet and thoughtful and she seemed very excited to be working with me and my (now) husband. We were so comfortable working with her from the get-go! In fact, we had so much fun shooting our engagement session that my husband and I were both anticipating seeing Lauren again on our wedding day! Lauren was so sweet and positive the entirety of our wedding day. And she was super patient with our ring bearers and flower girl who did not always want to cooperate. Before we knew it the wedding was around the corner, and I had yet to take my bridal portraits. Lauren Carnes Photography came highly recommended by our event designer. I contacted Lauren to try to squeeze in a bridal session with her. Not only was she so graciously flexible to make it work on my schedule, she also made the appointment keeping in mind my gown alterations were not complete and the wedding was only a couple weeks away from our scheduled appointment (and I was hoping to have a few portraits displayed at the reception!). When it was time for our bridal session Lauren greeted me with her warm smile and took detailed photos of my many accessories as my sister-in-law helped me get into my gown as I anxiously got into "bride mode." I truly had a blast taking these special pictures in the style I had described to Lauren. My family and friends were blown away by the final results. She even made sure I had gorgeous canvas print portraits to display at the wedding within a week of taking them! Lauren is completely authentic. You can tell she loves what she does because she is so sweet and respectful of your special *once in a lifetime* moments. She captured my happiness so beautifully. She knows all about the process of wedding planning and execution and goes above and beyond to make the bride, groom, party, and family feel comfortable during the process and on the wedding day. One of the big things for me was for our photographer to be able to run the family photos efficiently and she was perfect for this - she is kind but quick and got the family photos done so quickly so they had time to enjoy the cocktail hour. And then when we got our photos back and I saw how BEAUTIFUL the family pictures were I was amazed at how she turned out such a great product with only a minute or two with each "bunch" of family members. Personality-wise, Lauren is unbelievably easy to get along with, work with, be around, etc. She will fit seamlessly into any environment and can make friends with anyone.
