I was walking through the "steps" recommended in different timeline sheets, which in itself is very tiring, and starting very big picture. But as anyone who has planned a wedding knows, the details start to become very, very overwhelming - especially when there's a specific look and feel you want for your wedding. Where do you invest your time and money? That's where Lauren was a lifesaver. Some key moments in our work together included: aligning us via several conversations and an inspiration deck (really key for making sure you're on the same page), meeting me at a rental facility to walk through design elements together, coordinating with family members to make sure she got a comprehensive picture of what really mattered to me (bless my partner, he couldn't care less), and secretly working with family members to make the vision "bigger and better" and surprise me. Lauren also has an IMPECCABLE eye for how to bring all the little details together. She hand-selected and/or advised on every detail, from utensil colors to linens to stamp types to wax seals - all the tiny details that create a full "experience" for you and your guests, but by the end, you don't have energy to pick yourself! Moreover, Lauren is incredibly professional, warm, direct, patient, and supportive - all traits you need in a planner and designer. She will also tell you what she thinks, which is essential, particularly in the home stretch! By the end, Lauren was responsible for creating the wedding of my dreams. I can truly say it was the most magical night of my life, and while all weddings are so special when you have the people you love, it doesn't quite feel *magical* without all those details coming together. ent and starting the wedding planning process I knew almost nothing about wedding planning. Lauren took the time to ask me questions and help figure out what I wanted when I didn't even know myself what I wanted for different things. She was able to make decisions and give her opinions on what would be best when I had no idea or just didn't have a preference which was really nice because I didn't feel like everything was on me. She always reached out to make sure we were staying on top of things and would answer my 500 emails. She has such a perfect personality for wedding planning, she is a great listener, she communicates in both a professional manner but also get to know everyone and she is a great facilitator and leader to coordinate all the vendors and day of set up. She has a phenomenal eye for design and cohesiveness. I was beyond blown away when I saw our reception and cocktail room design on the day of. I was beyond floored by how perfect it all was. I feel like with every wedding something has to go wrong but our wedding was PERFECT. Either nothing actually did go wrong OR Lauren never let us know if something was falling apart behind the scenes. It was the most perfect, magical day I could have ever imagined and all of that was thanks to Lauren.

cting would be the understatement of the century. LC absolutely knocked it out of the park. From a planning perspective, she was there every second of the way. She was professional but at the same time extremely friendly and kept us at ease during what can be a very stressful process. She provided helpful suggestions when we needed them, put us in touch with excellent vendors at all turns, and provided a gentle nudge here or there when we were out of our depth. Importantly though, she gave us enough breathing room to make our own decisions and helped us put our own personal touches on the big day. With all that said, we would have been 100% confident putting everything in Lauren's hands and letting her run solo. She was extremely organized and punctual and has excellent style. The hardest choices we had to make were deciding between the awesome arrangements/combos of materials Lauren would consistently send to us. If you're looking for a day-of planner, our wedding day dealt a worse case scenario weatherwise and Lauren crushed it. Lauren dealt with a pouring rain storm and was literally out in the elements the whole morning to ensure we did not have one hiccup on the big day. Our parents still talk about how incredibly hard she worked to get everything ready and made everything flow perfectly despite the elements. Additionally, her organizational skills were on full display as every vendor not only had a plan, but were in sync with the other vendors, had coordinated ahead of time, and were ready to anticipate problems so that we could concentrate fully on our special day. This would never have happened had it not been for Lauren's planning and prep. We began planning our wedding having no idea what to expect and having no impression of Lauren whatsoever. We came out the other side having gained incredible memories of the planning process, a dream wedding to look back on, and a personal friend in Lauren. We were confident from the first time we spoke with her that she had the skills to create magic. Lauren FAR exceeded any expectation we had for our big day. We knew from exploring her instagram page and website what she was capable of creating but when we saw her bring our vision to life… wow did that bring us to tears. We had showed her pins from our Pinterest wedding board as inspiration (like any couple would) and she somehow made it far more than we could have ever dreamed. Lauren also has a plethora of relationships with fantastic vendors so creating our wedding team was way less stressful than I anticipated. She knew exactly who to call when we didn’t. She knew when I needed an informed opinion (aka please help me pick ) and she knew exactly which details meant a lot to me and which ones I had little interest in talking about ad nauseam. As much as she could she took the stress of planning of my shoulders. I never had any question as to whether our wedding would go off seamlessly - I had full faith in Lauren's ability to pull it off. Now that the wedding is over, I really do miss getting to chat with Lauren regularly. She's good people. Two final things I'll mention: 1) I also had the chance to work with other members of Lauren's team on the day of my wedding and I found them to be just as confident, cool & collected as their boss. And I adore them forever for scaring me half to death with confetti because the photos are amazing. 2) I had to part ways with my hair and make-up team the day before my wedding - not a super fun situation to find yourself in. Lauren, being the superhero that she is, used her network to find me a new team within a few hours (and the hair & make up were flawless). That's the kind of above and beyond work you can anticipate from Lauren Corrigan Events.

n the big day. She thought of things we never would have if we were doing it on our own. One thing I appreciate most was her help with budgeting. We had a limited budget and she advised us on how to divide it up so that we got the most for our money and there were no last minute surprises. She worked with our florist and found ways to repurpose arrangements. She was flexible and worked well with my large family who helped with the wedding. She never let me see she was stressed. And as someone who worries if everyone else is ok, I appreciated that. It was a beautiful day and working with Lauren made the planning process fun and as low stress as wedding planning could be. We are so glad we chose to work with her and we would do it all the same again.

She ensured my creative vision came to life by sourcing the most adorable paper goods and taking the time to make sure the little details I wanted to be a part of my day were included! (ie. olive oil bottles for seating cards, menus that matched my flowers, table numbers that had 20 different cities in the background to depict the places my husband and I have traveled together, etc.) Not only did she help with the creative side of the planning but she helped with the logistics the day of and ensured 3 houses (groomsmen, bridal party & parents) all had breakfast delivered early in the morning and also assisted coordinating transportation of my guest to and from the ceremony to reception. Lauren is creative, detail oriented and efficient and I'm so thankful for her help the day of my wedding :)
