Her team was kind enough to stick around when time ran over to make sure all the important shots and our special requests were accommodated. Our pictures are astonishing, they capture the feelings and celebration of the entire day. We’ve been told you can feel the emotions captured in each shot. She managed to be everywhere, capturing the big and subtle, candid moments we might have missed. She captured all of our shot requests with patience and grace, wrangling our rowdy wedding parties, and beautifully captured our three dogs, who were not interested in being cooperative that day. Her ability to blend into the background while simultaneously directing and capturing stunning portraits is truly impressive. As always, Lauren's photographs are nothing short of magical. Within a day, we got sneak peeks of the photos taken and within 2 weeks, we got the full gallery. We are so pleased with the range of photos (fun and spontaneous ones, scenic ones, romantic ones, candid ones, portraits), and the variety of compositions and location backdrops she shot us in. Would highly recommend Lauren for capturing any moment to remember, whether that be a wedding, surprise engagement, doggie photoshoot, or even just a family portrait session. The photos that she will deliver and the moments she will capture for you to have forever, are simply priceless.

We literally changed states and she was totally unfazed and so ready to capture our wedding day. I was so stressed out on our wedding day because so many of my plans had changed and I kept feeling like I was forgetting things - not to mention we were getting married as an impending hurricane was headed our way. When Lauren walked into our suite I literally forgot about everything. She has the most calming energy. It felt like my best friend from childhood walked in the room. Im telling you.- she is so friendly and personable. I think this is a HUGE OVERSIGHT on so many brides radar. You want a photographer that takes good pictures- but do you think about the fact that this person is going to be by your side ALL DAY on the day of your wedding? You want someone you are comfortable with and to whom you enjoy their company - not a stranger! Anyways, she was so good at directing us on our wedding day she was literally a wedding coordinator and a photographer all in one. We just got our pictures back from our wedding day and I am speechless. ALL of our pictures are absolutely STUNNING. I didn’t even realize she took half the pictures she did because she is so discrete - which is another HUGE thing to consider- you don’t want someone forcing these awkward poses on you! She literally captured such natural interactions in the most beautiful way. She brought her second shooter- her fiance Paul - and yup you guessed it I’m in love with him too. They are the sweetest couple and are so genuinely happy for you - it feels like they are just your friends at your wedding. I was so sad at the end of our wedding that I would have to say bye to her because I wouldn’t see her again any time soon- but I am so looking forward to the day when we are able to use her again for our family portraits. We actually became aware of Lauren Dobish Photography after one of our closest friends commissioned her for their engagement shoot this past summer. Regarding our proposal pictures, we are truly blown away! With the way Lauren photographed our proposal, it feels like she has the truly rare gift of storytelling! She really captured the buildup of various emotions as I got down on one knee and began proposing to my now fiancé, Daniella. She even blended in so well from across the street that Daniella didn’t notice her until she physically came closer to us to capture a slightly different angle. From tears of joy, to laughs of jubilation, to pure gratitude, Lauren captured it all seamlessly! This next detail speaks to Lauren’s character so well: even she herself was crying after I proposed. It proved to both of us how much she actually cares about her clients! Lauren is the kind of photographer who understands the great value of authentic connection with the people she works with. This enhances her photos and leads to even better images. Right after the proposal occurred, she asked us if we were ready to do a mini-portrait session. The way she switched up gears did not feel rushed, it felt so natural and exciting! Because we work in the wedding industry as videographers, we are used to being behind the camera, not in front of it. So we were a little nervous as she began directing us. But her direction was always so clear and concise. She made us laugh a lot too, which was good because it helped get the tears of joy to disappear and be replaced by ear-to-ear smiles! Another thing we LOVED about working with Lauren was the speed of her delivery. Plus, she OVER DELIVERED the number of final images, giving us DOUBLE what she estimated originally within FIVE DAYS!! We really enjoyed how she turned some black and white; this adds a timeless effect to the already timeless work she creates. We’ve already looked at our gallery a few times now, and it honestly feels as though the gallery gets better and better each time! Thank you, Lauren, for keeping us on cloud nine engagement bliss :) At one point, the forecast looked bad, so I asked if Lauren would be available the next day. She wasn't, but she said she’d “totally understand if I went with someone else because she couldn’t commit to the next day as well.” That is what sold me on her: Her kindness and authenticity! I could tell she wasn’t greedy and that she really wanted me to have a successful proposal. I really appreciated her attention to detail. As most guys will eventually find out, planning and executing a successful proposal can be daunting. Lauren put me at ease, though, and when we hopped on the phone the day before the proposal, she listened more than she spoke, and was so clear about the information she needed from me, without adding too much extra work or stress on my plate the day before the proposal.
