folio because everyone looked so natural and she obviously had a keen eye for capturing those little moments – a sideways glance when you thought nobody was looking, or a flower girl gasping with delight when she first spots the bride. When I first spoke with Lauren, I felt not only that she knew her stuff and “got” my style, but also that she put me at ease. I also loved that she offered up an engagement shoot before the wedding as a way to get to know each other. Oh – and by the way those photos were to die for, so I knew I was in good hands for the big day. On the day of the wedding, Lauren was everywhere and nowhere. Does that make sense? She seriously captured every special moment and more, yet we never seemed to notice she was around. In some of those uncomfortable, more posed moments, Lauren helped ease our nerves with cues of what to do, but other than that she just let us do our thing so we didn’t have to “act” natural. I still look at our pics on almost a daily basis because it blows me away how beautiful they are. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more.

auren Friday brought my vision (and more) to life in the photos she captured of our big day. Lauren is the sweetest person and my husband and I absolutely loved working with her. She made our engagement session fun and my entire wedding party commented on what a delight she was! Her photography style is unlike any other and we are so so happy to have hired her. We can't wait to have her photograph future maternity sessions and baby pictures (: also- word of advice- if you haven't seen Zoolander, make sure you do so prior to your sessions with Lauren- she will ask for a "Blue Steel" pose (:
