Lauren Garrison Photography Weddings+Engagement+Bridal

eativity, and thoughtfulness showed in every moment she spent with us, and it didn’t go unnoticed. We felt so comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. Thank you, Lauren, for giving us photos we’ll cherish forever. We appreciate you so much and would love to work with you again in the future!

and years of wisdom helped my proposal go over perfectly, and we loved the photos more than we thought possible! When it came time to plan the wedding, we hit some bumps in the road and were particularly stressed out about getting everything together. We knew we wanted to call Lauren to have someone in our corner we knew we trusted completely. She was again a calming presence, never afraid to accommodate any unique ideas we had along the way.  Our engagement shoot was a great teaser for the wedding, and we used a lot of the photos from it in decorating for the big day. Finally, on our wedding day, Lauren was perfect and captured all the moments, big and little. Between her and our coordinator, we never had to think or worry about anything. The photos turned out incredible, and we were able to share some very quickly due to Lauren’s emphasis on sending previews as soon as possible. She provided us with photos we’ll always treasure and a wedding day experience that was like working with an old friend. We can’t say enough good things about her, but this seems like an alright place to stop :)

den and made sure to work with the lighting rather than against it. Lovely human, highly recommend!

, she was quick to give us a sneak peek and editing of our photos. Emily photographed our wedding and she was the perfect addition to our small and intimate wedding. From the moment she got to the venue, you could feel how excited she was to be apart of our day and capture our love. She made us feel beyond comfortable but also capture our favorite moments. We cannot thank Lauren and Emily enough for capturing and editing our most prized possessions, our wedding photos.

ngagement session, my bridal portraits and our wedding and we will forever cherish all the stunning pictures. Lauren is extremely detail oriented and walked us through all the sessions and made taking photos so fun. She even had a speaker playing some of our favorite songs to create great vibes. She has the best demeanor that brings calmness and joy to each session, provided sneak peaks so quickly and answered all my questions which gave my type-A self so much peace walking through a busy and somewhat stressful season of wedding planning. She is simply the best and we cannot wait to have her take more photos of our family in the future.

tos of our courthouse wedding. The whole experience went so smoothly. Lauren was so patient and kind with us. My husband and I were both so nervous about the photos because we've never taken professional photos before or pose for photos. However, Lauren kept everything simple that we didn't even think about it much besides just enjoying our time together. The pictures we received were unbelievably amazing! We love every single photo she took and we still have a hard time picking out our favorite.

wedding day and during our entire shoot, but she made the experience comfortable and still fun for us. She even had cute umbrellas ☔️ for us to use to create a beautiful aesthetic in our photos. She captured beautiful candid photos of our friends and family that we will cherish forever. Don't think twice, book her. She's the best! ✨ - The Jordan's ♥️

he was extremely professional. The wedding day was very stressful and the last thing you want as the bride is to have to worry about your vendors… Lauren was there early and got right to work (even while pregnant!!) everyone commented at how amazing our photographer was doing and the amazing shots she was getting. I also asked her if she could edit my under eyes with some of the photos (I was crying SO MUCH) and she did flawless, seamless editing that looked so natural. She got the final album to us so fast so that we were able to enjoy the photos right away. I highly recommend her for your wedding photography ❤️

n wedding day making sure everyone was where they needed to be. Very friendly, easy to talk to, and my spouse and I felt completely like ourselves around her. Her editing was fantastic and we are super happy with the pics! You won't regret it!

and beautifully! We are SO glad Lauren was our wedding photographer and highly recommend all to book her. You will be so happy you booked the best!! Our photos are incredible and capture our entire day from start to finish. We can truly relive our big day all over again through our wedding photos.

melines or coordinate day of. Lauren was quick to jump in and offer to do both of those things for us! Apart from taking the most beautiful photos, she made the entire day stress-free by being on top of all the timing & coordination. She even made sure we remembered the small details like speakers for music, drinks for after the ceremony and more. You will be so happy if you pick Lauren to be involved in your big day!!

complete steal for the experience, warmth, and professionalism she embodies from day one! We had a really laid back, intimate courthouse ceremony and she matched our mood perfectly. I can imagine that even for a larger wedding, couples may feel overwhelmed and like they need to micromanage certain parts of their day for peace of mind. Don't think twice about hiring Lauren-- she's got everything under control, she takes beautiful photos and gives you many options to choose from, and she's a great person to hang out with for the day too!

photo time.

the photos are phenomenal. She made sure we were comfortable during our shoot and knew exactly what we needed to do to get great shots. It was so fun working with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

ks of everything before you even know you need to - her planning forms are in depth and answer just about every question you may have. Her photos are high quality and really capture the emotions of all of your special moments. Both our engagement photoshoot for our Save the Dates and our wedding photo session were fun & relaxed, which helped both me and my husband feel calm and natural while taking the pictures - no posed awkwardness here! We also opted for the package that allows her to bring a second photographer on the day of the wedding, which turned out to be the best decision! Her second shooter, Yazmin, was just as amazing, and the two of them really worked well together to capture our day from every angle. They were both so sweet and funny and helped us to enjoy every small moment throughout our photos. Overall we were so pleased with Lauren throughout the entire process and cannot recommend her enough!

uestion in either of our minds that we made a perfect choice. I first met Lauren when she did my best friend's wedding in 2020. As a bridesmaid, I loved the energy that Lauren brought and how comfortable I was with her having only known her for a limited time. She was professional and friendly, and she got the job done with grace even when we were too excited to sit still! When I got engaged in 2021, I knew I had to have the same experience for me and my husband, but also for our families and friends. She was the easiest and the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process. Lauren is thoughtful, organized, communicative, and most importantly, Lauren cares. You aren’t another couple in her portfolio, she takes the time to learn about you and figure out what elements of your wedding are the most important to you. Lauren’s photos perfectly encapsulate what I wanted my wedding day to be. She paid extra attention to the details I wanted, such as photos of my niece and nephew. I can never recommend her enough. Not only was she our photographer, but in a lot of ways, I relied on her during the planning process! She provided thoughtful insight and professional opinions and made sure that we were taken care of. By the time our wedding day rolled around, she felt like a friend we were excited to see! We decided to go without a videographer and we were admittedly worried we might regret our decision. Luckily, when we looked through our wedding gallery we didn't have any regrets! Lauren brought our wedding to life with her photos! I can feel the energy, the love, the intimacy, and the overall happiness that surrounds our day. My husband and I will tell anyone that we feel awkward in front of a camera, but when it came to Lauren we felt like old professionals. She has a gentle and focused nature that puts you at ease and makes you feel safe, beautiful, and calm. We can never thank her enough for the love she poured into our wedding and for giving us photos to last a lifetime. We’re so excited for the day we can sit down and show our future children these photos and know that we will use her for every photo opportunity down the line.

m the beginning! My husband and I do not like taking pictures and we always feel so awkward but Lauren made all the sessions so fun and helped us be comfortable! She gave us many posing ideas and they were all so cute! Something about Lauren that really stood out to us after being guests in another wedding recently is how organized and efficient she is! She had us complete a questionnaire of family members to take pictures with that made our family pictures run so fast and smoothly! A really special thing Lauren did for us was display wedding pictures at our wedding!!!! She quickly edited and uploaded some wedding photos to be able to display them during our reception! How sweet and thoughtful!!! Our guest loved seeing the pictures already!! We received all our galleries so quickly and they are the most beautiful and breathtaking pictures. When I look back at our wedding day, Lauren made our wedding so special and we are so lucky to have had her as our photographer! I trusted her from the beginning and I knew I had nothing to worry about because this is her passion. We have already talked about wanting Lauren to photograph our future family photos! We love you Lauren and THANK YOU for EVERYTHING!!!!!!

autiful locations and scouts them out beforehand for the perfect spots and any updates to consider. Not only did our all photos turn out beautiful, but she had our photos ready just a few hours after the proposal to share at the surprise engagement party AND setup a surprise digital photo frame by the bar at our wedding reception of wedding party and getting ready photos from earlier in the day. She equips you with everything you need from a custom wedding photography magazine, day of timelines, outfit tips, and vendor recommendations so you don’t have to worry about a thing. She worked so well with all of our vendors which is SO important. I love that you get access/rights to your entire gallery with her packages. We always felt comfortable and she helps you forget your on camera so you get those sweet candid shots. Photography is one of the few things to look back on after your special day is over... We highly recommend Lauren she is the best!!!

e the original due date and all of our friends and family could not believe how fast the turn around was. We would definitely recommend her to friends and family. My favorite part about working with Lauren was just how calming and present she was when taking our pictures. I was pretty anxious the day of the wedding and Lauren’s presence and great vibes really relaxed me before the ceremony. Absolutely the best!!!!

! She was with us through every step of our engagement and wedding, including the proposal, engagement photos, bridal portraits, and wedding day. My (now) husband found Lauren while planning the proposal. Not only did she give him advice about location, time of day, how to get me to wear a dress, and keep it a secret, she also set up the proposal location with flowers and champagne! She even pretended to be a restaurant hostess on the phone while we were on our way to dinner the day of the proposal to keep it a surprise! Lauren does a great job of making you comfortable in front of the camera even if you don't have any posing experience. She gave us tips on how to pose while acting natural. She even curated a custom playlist that helped create a really fun vibe. She sent us a questionnaire prior to the engagement photo session in order to get to know us as a couple and to learn about what things we were looking for in our photos. Lauren has a really creative eye for framing a shot while also incorporating your own personal style. Lauren is also so much more than just a photographer. She knows Austin extremely well and she has great recommendations for photo locations around the city. Lauren completely saved my bridal portrait session in more than one way. When I found out the night before my bridal portraits that my wedding venue was closed that day, she suggested numerous other locations that matched the style of photos I wanted. We changed our plans the morning of and the bridal portraits turned out even more stunning than I could have imagined! I also had a dress zipper malfunction on the day of the bridal portraits and Lauren was so flexible and worked around it by taking photos different angles so you can't even tell there was an issue by looking at the photos. Before our wedding day, we had a call with Lauren to discuss everything from the wedding timeline to the photo shot list. She was extremely thorough and made sure that we discussed all the little details so the day could go as smoothly as possible. Our wedding day was unseasonably chilly and Lauren handled it so well! We were still able to take all of the photos that we initially planned to do because Lauren is so efficient and so good at giving directions to everyone involved. She helped us wrangle the bridal party and all of our various family members to make sure we got through all of the photos on our shot list. Lauren is wonderful at planning around different lighting and helping to keep everything on schedule to catch the golden hour. She also took beautiful photos at night by bringing an additional lighting setup. Overall, we could not be more pleased with how all of our photos turned out. They're absolutely incredible and exactly how we imagined! Finally, Lauren has EXCEPTIONAL turnaround time! She had a ton of our photos ready less than two weeks after the wedding, and she sent us the full gallery one month after the wedding, but the thing that really blew us away was that she edited a preview gallery of our wedding photos AT OUR WEDDING and had had them displayed during the reception for our guests to view! If you're looking for the PERFECT wedding photographer that you can rely on for anything and everything, hire Lauren!

usy wedding day! She had us feeling like professional models halfway through our first session! Multiple members of my family have hired her for a variety of occasions and absolutely loved the entire experience. She is so genuine and kind and an absolute dream to work with!

for both of our big events and we couldn't be happier how the photos turned out! We highly recommend her and her team.

et Lauren when Lee hired her to photograph his proposal. I honestly never even knew she was there until he pointed her out - she's that good! The photos she took were amazing and made me cry happy tears for days. So, once we had a wedding date in mind, we double checked her availability before even booking our venue (I HIGHLY recommend this if you love a photographer as much as we love Lauren). Once we booked the wedding package with Lauren, she sent us the sweetest congrats box with cute gifts (even a bandana for our dog!) and gave us a list of expectations and schedules and all the info we could ever need - and even asked us to complete a questionnaire to help her get to know us better. At our engagement photos she made us feel like models! She even carried around a speaker with a playlist of our favorite songs. The special, small details she brought to the table far exceeded our expectations and made us love her even more. When it came down to our wedding day, she knocked it out of the park again! We had a phone call a couple weeks in advance and went through the list of what we wanted photos of, and she got them all. We even forgot we had asked for a few photos, but she remembered and made sure to capture it all. Her communication is 10/10 as well. Obviously vendors get busy during certain seasons, but we could always count on her replying as quickly as she could. She made everything so easy and effortless, and again, produced BEAUTIFUL photos. Our entire family was impressed with her professionalism, kindness and talent. So, again, go book Lauren right now! You won't regret it.

ting to be photographed and even more so on your wedding day, so it's nice when you feel at ease around the photographer. Lauren was also very organized and timely throughout the whole process, providing a timeline and tips. She was super helpful interacting with other wedding vendors as she took the photos. The wedding photos came out perfect and we couldn't be happier! Thanks Lauren!

ed to photograph our wedding. Lauren is incredibly skilled and creative but the cherries on top are her charisma, personality and her love for what she does and for the people she works with! Getting your pictures taken professionally can be a little awkward...not with Lauren. She is so thoughtful that she brings a speaker and plays music that you and your partner like. She takes the time to get to know who she is working with to tailor each experience and make you feel more relaxed. To the average eye a patch of fountain grass is just fountain grass. To Lauren, that's a perfect opportunity for a back drop (this happened with our engagement photos and my bridals and let me tell you...they were some of mine and my husband's favorite pictures)! There was a field across from our wedding venue and Lauren turned it into the most breathtaking background with the best lighting. Again...field to me...perfect background to Lauren...and she was right! I've heard of other people saying they waited forever and a day to get their pictures back from their wedding. Not Lauren. We literally had a digital picture frame at our reception rolling through pictures from earlier in the day. We got our pictures a month afterwards, what an amazing 1 month anniversary gift! Throughout the planning process, wedding and afterwards I received compliments galore about Lauren and how sweet and professional she was and I am not surprised. I had people coming up to me during the wedding reception saying she was the best wedding photographer they had ever seen/worked with (this includes hair, makeup, wedding coordinator, family and guests). Long story short...pick Lauren. You won't regret it. You get a photographer with an incredible skillset, who is communicative, helpful (e.g. magazine with details on your wedding photos, timeline, volunteering to help with what she can) and so caring. THANK YOU, LAUREN! We cannot wait for the next chapters in our life so Lauren can photograph them.

ons while wedding planning. From day one we could tell she was ON IT, and I felt immediate relief after getting her first email. She’s incredibly detailed and thorough, as well as down to earth and so sweet. And of course, her photography is PHENOMENAL (bonus, she’ll probably get your pictures done early!!!) On our wedding day, she kept us on time and just kept things flowing so smoothly. I was veryyyy appreciative also of just how calm she was. I can imagine if you have a high stress personality taking your pictures all day and sticking close to you for a big part of the day, it would rub off and make a person also feel edgy. That’s why it felt so great to have someone so zen be in our presence. We received our sneak peek and preview pictures way ahead of schedule which we’re thrilled about, and they’re simply stunning. Every person that sees them comments on what a great job our photographer did. Please hire Lauren if you want the perfect person to be your photographer!!!

o pick a photographer for my wedding since we were getting married six months after our engagement. Lauren was incredible. She got us a quick appointment to do engagement photos, and the photos turned out amazing. Prior to the wedding, she sent me detailed timelines and was very helpful every step of the way. During our wedding, she worked to capture every detail, and it showed in our photos. I'm a little camera shy, so working with Lauren was a dream. She made me feel so comfortable, and she is definitely the person you want around you on your wedding day. Lauren's professionalism is greatly appreciated, and she is definitely a five star vendor.

ntire process and made a bad situation manageable. She ultimately ended up covering our small ceremony in 2020 and our postponed reception this year. The photos are breathtaking and she made sure to touch base multiple times to make sure the timeline was set and everyone was on the same page. Her guidebook that she provides her couples helped me manage the planning process with greater ease; she also has a lot of great tips to make the day flow better and she really listens to what you say to the point where I knew I didn't have to worry about whether she got the images we talked about because she really heard us. She honestly was a source of stability and positivity throughout a very stressful 2 years. She is professional, kind, and an amazing person in general. All of our photos were absolutely perfect and working with her was nothing but a positive experience. We cannot thank her enough!

ave beautiful previews of our engagement pictures asap to share the good news with family and friends. We knew immediately we had to book with her as our wedding photographer. As a Covid 19 couple, we decided to postpone to 2021. Lauren was very supportive and worked to reschedule with us to our new date. She always had a positive attitude and made the whole experience fun and relaxing (she even brought along a customized playlist, making the process fun and romantic). During our wedding planning she was great in providing us with a helpful timeline to help plan around for our wedding day pictures. She worked along side our amazing videographer as well! Lauren captured every detail, laugh, and beautiful moment that was shared on our wedding day! We again loved that we got a preview of our wedding gallery a few days later! We know we will be working with her again! Look no further for another engagement + wedding photographer, Lauren is the BEST!

lly for us that she played while taking pics). you absolutely will not regret choosing Lauren for your wedding day! We LOVE these pictures and are stoked to remember our special day forever through these pictures.

fit both my proposal and elopement pictures. In both events Lauren was organized, positive, and kind. She made my wife and I calm during our whole elopement ceremony by reminding us it was our day. All of the pictures came out so beautiful and captured us in our favorite places. I highly recommend Lauren as a photographer if you want to enjoy your day and be yourself in every moment.

g job. She was calm, steadfast, and totally in control of her art. It was amazing! She was so professional and knew exactly what she was doing the whole day. I seriously LOVE our Lauren and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much for making our day wonderful and for giving us memories we can cherish for the rest of our lives!

our proposal, which was a complete surprise to me and she did so great and getting all of the best moments. We instantly knew she would be the one to get us the best wedding photos. Neither me or my husband have been behind a camera much and she helped warm us up and made us feel so comfortable and confident. Because of Lauren we have the most amazing proposal, engagement, and wedding photos. We couldn’t be happier that we chose her for the job!

our engagement photos, bridal portraits, and documented our wedding day. By the end of the process, she truly felt like a friend to both of us. She helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and made the photo sessions a lot of fun. Lauren can give direction and coordinate a big group of people when needed, but also captures candid moments discreetly. On our wedding day, Lauren even took the time to edit some photos from earlier in the day during her dinner break and displayed them at our reception. It was such a special surprise for us and our guests! After the wedding, she had our photo previews and full gallery ready way faster than we expected. The photos turned out incredible, they are so beautiful and natural! I highly recommend Lauren. She is so talented and kind, and we could not be happier to have chosen her as our wedding photographer!

RGANIZED, on top of every dead line and answered every question and more I had. She made our day easy and effortless. From our family photos, to bride+groom portraits, it was easy and fun and efficient! You will truly think your the only bride that she is working with, she gives 200% to you in everything you need. If I could giver her 6 starts I would!

e her website and blog. She even gave us recommendations (like our DJ!). She made our engagement photo session so much fun at the Dallas Arboretum. She constantly complimented me and my husband at our engagement photos and the wedding! She made me feel absolutely gorgeous at the wedding with all the compliments. You can tell she is just a genuinely good person and we couldn’t be happier with her. The second shooter at our wedding was just as nice! Both of their personalities mixed well with ours and helped our special day go way beyond what we expected. We were impressed with Lauren every step of the way. I cannot stop going through our gallery and just staring at every single photo!!! You will not go wrong booking Lauren, she is THE BEST.

e entire process feel natural and had my husband and I laughing through all of our engagement pictures! When I got the pictures back I was amazed at how great they were! Lauren captured authentic moments between my husband and I that I will always cherish. Then when it was our wedding day we already felt comfortable with Lauren and she did such a fantastic job of keeping the day moving while not stressing us about when we got a little behind schedule. Lauren was always quick to help make the day even more special in any way she could. You will not regret trusting Lauren with your special day, she does amazing work!

right photographer for us. She was accommodating in meeting us in a location that worked well for all of us, and we immediately chose her as our engagement and wedding photographer. Our engagement photos were so much fun - Lauren had arrived early and already scoped out several areas that we hadn't even thought of. We brought our dog, a bottle of champagne, and even stopped for ice cream during the shoot. We have several of those photos framed in our home. We love them because Lauren perfectly captured who we are as a couple and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. It has been clear throughout the many months we've worked with Lauren just how committed she is to getting to know each of the couples she works with and capturing the photos she knows are important to them. We never felt like a nameless/faceless couple in a portfolio. Lauren learned and remembered things about us specifically from our engagement session (including our dog's name, who she was happy to include in the wedding photos as well) and brought those details into our wedding day. Every time I thought Lauren could not impress me more, she continued to surprise me. Very shortly before our 2020 wedding, we decided it would not be safe for my immediate family to travel out of state to attend. We were all devastated. However, Lauren captured every emotion we experienced that day so beautifully AND managed to seamlessly integrate photos of my family attending via iPhone in a way that is just as beautiful as everything else she does. Not only that, but she also delivered a preview gallery the very same night of our wedding so that my family could have a piece of the event as quickly as possible. These personal touches and CARE that Lauren put into our event truly meant the world to us. Lauren's commitment to her clients reaches beyond the engagement session and wedding day. She spends time before the wedding making sure she knows what the couple sees as important for their wedding day, and helped us develop a timeline that made the most sense for photography. In the past, I've seen so many horror stories about couples waiting forever to get their wedding photos from other photographers. This is not at all the case with Lauren. She has an efficient timeline and sticks with it. We had a full gallery exactly a month after our wedding and we were able to immediately print the photos and share them electronically with our loved ones. Lauren has an incredible eye for setting and lighting, knows how to make people feel comfortable, and is so incredibly accomodating, especially in a year that has been so difficult for the wedding industry. With every change we had to make to our wedding plans, Lauren was always a key piece of our puzzle. We knew that no matter what, we needed her there. We're so excited to work with her again for our 2021 reception. I could take up the entire allotted character amount singing Lauren's praises, but in short: Hire her. You will not regret it.

ional, fairly priced, kind, and flexible. She was also really efficient which I appreciated when we were running behind schedule and I was anxious about time, she definitely helped put me at ease! I loved that she sent us previews from our wedding the night of, which was a super unexpected treat! All of the photos we’ve seen so far are great and show how much she caught and paid attention to every detail. I definitely recommend working with Lauren and will use her again in the future.

tographer as well. Included in the wedding photos was an engagement photo session where we got to interact with Lauren more. Those photos were so fun to take, and it was very comfortable working with Lauren. On the wedding day, from the moment she arrived, she and her second photographer started taking so many photos. They listened to what we wanted and absolutely executed. The group photos were really easy and went quickly. Lauren was always scoping out fun photo moments. Lauren even had some preview photos at the reception showing on a tv screen where guests could see. My mom at one point sat down and just watched them. The 20 or so photos I have already are stunning, and I cannot wait to get the full suite.

ial moments on my wedding day. Not only did Lauren knock this out of the park - my entire family and friends cannot get over how beautiful and candid our previews turned out!! I am absolutely over the moon with these photos and cannot stop looking at them. (I'm pretty sure I'll lose my mind when my entire gallery is delivered.) Lauren was so fun and easy to work with during our engagement pictures and on our wedding day. I would hire her again in a heartbeat. (My husband is already trying to plan any excuse to get our pictures taken again, that's how you know she's a keeper.) We loved having you be a part of our wedding Lauren!!

ent photos and immediately put my now husband and I at ease! The photos were beautiful, and I couldn’t believe that was us in them! Come preparing for the wedding, Lauren was thoughtful in her communication and preparation in what we wanted our photography to focus on. Now I am looking at our wedding gallery and it’s perfect! She got every big moment and a lot more of our guest that I anticipated. She even was thoughtful enough to add in my grandma who helped me make the wedding, a photo I will cherish forever!
