Lauren is such an amazing person and photographer! I agree with an earlier review that she is so energetic and welcoming and has that "never met a stranger" personality! My husband...
and I are from NYC and decided to have a destination wedding in Charleston, so we flew her to NYC for our engagement photos so that we can meet her before the wedding day. It was like meeting an old friend and she made sure to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She is a natural with candid photos and making sure to capture those special moments. She was also absolutely amazing to work with when I postponed my wedding due to COVID and was one of my most understanding vendors. My bridesmaids and family loved working with her during the wedding day and I'm OBSESSED with my wedding photos!
Lauren Jonas... is an absolute artist.
The minute I saw Lauren's work it sealed the deal for me. Her eye and vision are absolutely stunning and I truly can't stop staring at our ...
photos. Not only is her work incredible, but SHE is also incredible to work WITH. She is confident, reassuring, organized, timely. I mean, I could go on and on. Her team is also absolutely amazing. Nick & Saul are the sweetest and coolest guys. Our bridal party absolutely loved them.
If you want photos that look like you belong in a magazine. HIRE HER.
Lauren is an absolute dream! She is so energetic and welcoming and has one of those amazing "never met a stranger" personalities! She makes the whole process comfortable and fun ...
and genuinely wants to capture the most special moments of your day. She has such a talent for natural light and candid moments which made for the most beautiful wedding photos we could ever wish for. She has such a passion for her art and we are so grateful we could share in her gift on our wedding day!
My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our experiences with Lauren. She is a kind-hearted, fun-loving soul with a passion for photography. Her style is soft and airy, and the fa...
ct that she uses both film and digital is mega-cool and gives her photos a diverse look which is refreshing. Also, the way she uses light is SO. YUMMY.
We had our engagement and wedding photos taken by Lauren and she was a joy to work with. She kept us feeling very comfortable and natural, even in the most unnatural of situations (i.e. kissing every 10 seconds in a busy park in San Francisco). She loves to laugh and that helps keep the mood light and fun, but she still remains professional throughout. She was willing to travel for our sessions: to SF for our engagement shoot and Seattle for our wedding. She listened to our needs and captured exactly what we were looking for.
Our wedding guests commented on how friendly Lauren was, but at the same time, she possesses a masterful command over the guests to ensure that we were able to get the photo combinations we wanted (i.e. bride + extended family, groom + extended family, college friends, etc.) in a timely fashion so we could enjoy our wedding day.
Check Lauren’s portfolio out if you’re looking for infinitely memorable photos that will have you smiling for years afterward.
I noticed Lauren's work for the natural light and I knew that was the kind of images I wanted to always be able to come back to. I emailed Lauren and she got back in touch right aw...
ay. We happened to be traveling the 3 months leading up to our wedding and she was always willing to schedule phone dates that worked with our time difference. She knows Charleston very well and referred me to hair, makeup, cake, DJ & after party bar as well. Her assistant Nick made me laugh and put me at ease. Lauren was very flexible and willing to work with us. She is a very relaxed and kind person which helps you stay calm on your big day. Lauren is a pleasure to work with and you will not regret hiring her for your wedding day!
When looking for a photographer for a wedding - it's very important for you to connect personally and well, I can only say that Lauren has become quite a dear friend in the process...
! From the get-go she wanted to fly to Boston to photograph our engagement session and to get to know us, which we appreciated so much. We had such a fun time that weekend that I knew our wedding would be no different. Lauren was very attentive and detail-oriented - she had plan A, B and even C if things somehow didn't go according to plan (ie. weather). She has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and our photos show it! We will cherish our photos forever - thanks to Lauren :)
I have to say, Lauren is absolutely doll to have on your BIG day! Not to mention, our photos are stunning!! You can't go wrong with Lauren and her team for engagement photos and we...
