This is just one example of how Lauren goes above and beyond and all before we officially signed our contract. Lauren was an integral part of our wedding from day one. She was extremely flexible in scheduling with us for our engagement shoot, made us feel so comfortable, and spent a lot of time with us never making us feel rushed. Our family and friends loved her. She got every shot and more- including family shots with six kids under 5. She worked with us all day going inside and outside because of weather to get all the shots (and more), she made us feel calm and minimized any stress, and we couldn’t believe how amazing the pictures came out with and without rain! I can’t imagine going through this process with anyone else, if I could do it all over, Lauren would be the first vendor I prioritized investing in. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with her, is truly lucky!

We were based in Michigan planning an engagement shoot in NYC and a wedding in New Jersey, and she worked with our travel plans and limitations with ease. On the day of our wedding, she communicated seamlessly with the other vendors, such as the florist and videographers, to ensure she had what she needed for certain shots. Other vendors raved about her and said they always love working with her—she has a great reputation for being easy to work with. She worked with us to make a detailed timeline of the day, and she ensured everything ran smoothly and according to schedule; this was impressive, because we have a big family, and she made sure we photographed everyone on schedule. If you have little kids (i.e., ring bearers and flow girls) who will be in your family portraits, Lauren is fantastic at making them feel comfortable and coaxing smiles out of even the shyest kiddos. Aside from the incredible quality of her photos (which is no small thing!!), a few specific things that she did that are worth highlighting: - During our engagement shoot, Lauren assured us that it wasn't that we "aren't photogenic," but that we just hadn't ever received direction on how to pose. In the time we spent with her, she made us genuinely laugh throughout and helped us feel at ease even though neither of us had ever done a professional photo shoot. Needless to say when we got our photos back we were overwhelmed at how incredible they were - and how comfortable we looked! - She proactively came to us with a proposed wedding timeline that was incredibly detailed (but adjusted to our specific situation/events). It was so good we ended up using it as the "core" timeline document for all of our vendors, family and bridal party to reference. Other vendors commented on how detailed and organized we were, but it was all Lauren. - Our family expressed to us after our wedding at how sweet Lauren (and the rest of her team) were. She was so fun and bubbly throughout the whole day! If she was ever stressed or concerned about something that was happening, she never let it show to any of us! - Several of our friends told us that they waited months to see any photos from their wedding. We had 15 photos to look at the DAY AFTER our wedding, and another 100 just two weeks after. It was so nice having some beautiful images to share with our friends and family when it was still fresh on everyone's minds vs. having to wait 2-3 months to see anything! There is probably more I could say about Lauren but hopefully you get the gist: Lauren will be THE best hire you make for your wedding!!

On our wedding day, she prepared a detailed plan to capture all highlight moments and family formals, and made sure that we stayed on schedule. he event. Lauren is a true artist and each picture tells a story not just of the event but she is able to capture the essence of the couple. We knew her work was special after seeing the engagement pictures but she really outdid herself with the wedding. I will say that the photographers I have witnessed at other weddings were intrusive and took over the event with constant direction and posing. Lauren and her assistants became part of the wedding, like good friends who suggested poses and worked with the natural flow of the day. Lauren is adorable and quietly confident and she knows her clients and how to portray them in the their best light. Given the backdrop of Fiddler's Elbow and the wonderful designs created for us by our florist she had many opportunities to create once in a lifetime portraits. We were given a sampling of photos that captured the day within the week following the wedding, and they are all beautiful and full of movement and emotion. While we were getting ready, Lauren's assistant even helped me when I was having trouble with the strap on my shoe. This is just one example of how they were there to support us when we needed help. When it came to family portraits, Lauren was fast and precise with the poses she wanted and we were able to get to our cocktail hour and guests in a timely fashion. My favorite photos so far are those taken while we were getting ready, and the actual ceremony. Lauren even took photos of things that were special to my daughter, like her jewelry which are family heirlooms, and even the butterfly from her grandfather who inspired her to become a physician. The team captured eveything about how I envisioned my daughter's wedding would be. I am looking forward to the finished product and can't wait to get my parent album (that I hope is forthcoming!) because the photos are so beautiful I could look at them over and over. One piece of advice I would give prospective brides and families to minimize the stress of planning a big event is if the venue you are working with has a list of vendors they work with to seriously consider choosing them. We were lucky. In our case, our event planner at Fiddler's Elbow, the florist, Peonies to Paint Chips, the DJ from Eclipse Events and Lauren had all worked together before and this made the day move along seamlessly. Again, thanks to Lauren and her team we can relive a beautiful and special day in detail that otherwise would have been a blur because it went by so quickly!

Lauren did our engagement shoot in GA where my parents live; she had never been to the location before but after just a few minutes of scoping it out, she knew exactly which backdrops would make for the best photos. When it comes to actually taking the photos, she really makes you feel confident and natural in what otherwise could feel awkward never having done it before! We felt so at ease on our wedding day too knowing we could trust her to get all of the shots we wanted (along with ones we didn't even know we wanted!) all while keeping to the schedule. Our families and wedding party made so many comments to us about how amazing she was on our wedding day. We received several photos the morning after our wedding, a large preview gallery a week later, and then we had ALL of our photos within a few more weeks! Lauren is incredible and we could not imagine our wedding day without her!! Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend her more highly!!! Her process ensures that she gets to know you as a couple so that you are comfortable with her and in front of her lens. She is meticulous with details which is one of the things that makes her images so special. She notes what people/things/pets are important and makes sure to lovingly capture them in her images. I especially appreciated her timeline which maps out your whole wedding day to make sure you get every photo you need AND stay on time to actually enjoy your entire wedding. She also turned around the images so quickly (during PEAK wedding season)! We were looking at the first set of "preview" photos while on our honeymoon a week later and the full gallery was available in less than 2 months! It was wonderful to get to know her before the big day and the engagement photographs were stunning and helped set the tone for the wedding when Kelly and Michael chose one for their Save the Date. Lauren kept in touch with us throughout the 16 months of planning and carefully laid out a detailed timeline and had us create shot lists so we were sure to get every photograph we wanted. We also hired Lauren to photograph the rehearsal dinner, which was a large family affair. Lauren fit in so well that my sister in law asked if Lauren was a close friend- a true testament to her wonderful personality! The day of the wedding Lauren and Barb arrived early to take detail shots and getting ready pictures. All of which were seamless and made us all feel so comfortable. ease. Throughout the whole wedding weekend she kept the photo taking process fun! The morning after the wedding by the time we woke up we had 8 sneak peak wedding photos in my inbox and by the following Sunday had 150+ other sneak peaks. The photos were each more BEAUTIFUL than the next and couldn't be more happy with how they came out. Our wedding was so special to us and full of joy and we will now be able to remember those moments forever thanks to Lauren!

here were 2 Saturdays open in July. Lauren was only available for 1 of the Saturdays, so that made our decision easy! Yes, Lauren is so good that you would want to choose your wedding date to make sure she is the photographer. We had so much fun doing our engagement shoot with her, and the best time during the day of the wedding. She is funny, calm and has the absolute best energy. I thought I was going to be nervous during pictures before the ceremony/wedding, but she kept it so fun. The bridal party all loved her. The guys even enjoyed taking the pictures AND 8 kids in our wedding all under 10. Other guests even commented on how funny and nice she is. We then started to receive pictures and words don’t do it justice for her work. We are forever grateful for the images she was able to capture of our special day. Y she was the perfect fit. We were blown away by her organization and bubbly personality. Since Lauren had never been to our venue before, she organized an onsite visit to get familiar with the space and learn where all the good spots were... and our venue wasn't that close! On the wedding weekend, Lauren brought calm in times of chaos and brought all the energy and excitement to get the best smiles from our family. She’s the best when it comes to capturing the moment and has an elevated eye – but what about everything else? She is just such a joy to be around. She makes you feel comfortable and made the entire process for us and our guests SO fun – like we didn’t want any of our sessions with her to ever end. What someone may not realize is that on their own wedding day, their photographer is truly the person they spend the most time with, so it is so important to have someone that brings a fun and relaxed vibe to the day! Lauren was just that and so much more. Between her and her second shooter, Barb, they had us smiling and laughing all day. The night of our wedding when we got back to the hotel, Lauren sent through an email with some "sneak peak" photos from the wedding day and we absolutely loved sharing those with our friends and family at brunch the next morning. The remainder of the photos were turned around in such a short amount of time. My husband and I looked at all the photos together and I think we have over 100 "favorite photos". Lauren's style is classic, natural, and timeless. I know her photography style will never look "trendy" when we look back on photos for years and years to come.

She drove all the way down to Longwood Gardens in PA, where I used to go all the time with my grandmother growing up and where Nick and I still visit every Christmas. It was nearly 100F that day, and she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and braved the oppressive heat for nearly three hours, through countless locations around the grounds and two wardrobe changes. Not only did we have so much fun with Lauren, the photos were of course beautiful! So we just knew that she would be with us on our wedding as well! The day of the wedding was crazy to say the least, but Lauren was amazing in the weeks leading up, giving specific tips and instructions that helped us get and stay organized. She spent actual hours going over a minute-by-minute plan for the entire day, which made me feel so calm. She and Barb (photographer for the groom) worked seamlessly as a team to capture literally every moment of the day, as well as the gorgeous venue from all of its angles! Lauren is a true professional. Our guests still tell us today how infectious Lauren's smile and positive attitude was, and I know the groomsmen all had a BLAST with Barb during the getting ready photos. Lauren checked in with me all night, worked with our videographer (different company), and somehow managed to keep in touch with the venue staff, coordinators and the band leader and M/C all night to ensure we didn't miss any moments! Without her guidance and experience, we would never have been able to relax and just enjoy our day. Lauren's ability to capture emotion and special moments so quickly really helped us move through our huge family portrait list, and still fit in a beautiful couple's portrait session even without a first look (our preference) and a ceremony that started 45-min late! One last thing: if you are a bride who is curious or nervous about boudoir shoots, my 1:1 session with Lauren was not only one of the best experiences I've had, but also helped me get to know Lauren more and feel more comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera. I could go on and on, but just want to say if you are still looking for a photographer, look no further! Lauren is the best, and I can't wait to work with her again!!

d on Lauren (which was not a hard decision) for many reasons. Her impressive portfolio of work and gorgeous photos were what initially caught my eye. She has an impressive way of not only capturing the most treasured moments of whatever you are celebrating, but capturing them at the most perfect angle in the most perfect light. After my first phone call with Lauren, I knew I would be in amazing hands with her. She asked all of the right questions and went through a tentative timeline with me right from the start (something not everyone did). It was several months later that my now husband and I actually met Lauren for our engagement photo session and we had an actual blast with her that day. For my husband to have had as good of a time as he did was something I was not even expecting, but it was because Lauren put us at ease right from the start. It re-affirmed our decision and we were that much more excited to have her with us on our big day, not to mention the engagement photos were breathtaking! Over the next few months I had a handful of questions come up in which Lauren responded to right away and with such positivity. She also drove to meet me at the venue the week of our wedding to do a final walk through with me (and be my sounding board as I was quite anxious about the upcoming weather forecast). On the day of our wedding, she felt like a friend - seamlessly hopping around doing her thing most of the day, but also somehow being a huge presence in making sure I was fully taken care of, happy, calm, and looking my best at all times. She also surprised us at the reception with a sneak peek slideshow of some shots placed at our sweetheart table. We left for our honeymoon 2 days later and while we were relaxing on the beach we received an email from Lauren with so may of our photos - it was such a treat to get to look through all of them together in that moment and so soon after our wedding. A memory that I will always cherish. While Lauren's talent and awesome personality will forever keep her business flourishing, in my opinion, it is the attention to detail outside of taking photos that will continue to put her above all the rest including an impressive welcome package, amazing packaging and stationary for anything she puts her name on, the most gorgeous USB drive you'll ever see, sweet surprise tokens of her appreciation from time to time and such professionalism throughout everything. I could go on for days, but the whole point here is Lauren will continue to impress you from start to finish and even after that. Her photos are amazing so you could never go wrong, but with her you get so much more than just photos. She is the best of the best!
