5 stars is not enough to express how fantastic Lauren is! From the moment we first spoke with her ~2 years before our wedding through our big day, she was unbelievable to work with. Aside from the incredible quality of her photos (which is no small thing!!), a few specific things that she did that are worth highlighting: - During our engagement shoot, Lauren assured us that it wasn't that we "aren't photogenic," but that we just hadn't ever received direction on how to pose. In the time we spent with her, she made us genuinely laugh throughout and helped us feel at ease even though neither of us had ever done a professional photo shoot. Needless to say when we got our photos back we were overwhelmed at how incredible they were - and how comfortable we looked! - She proactively came to us with a proposed wedding timeline that was incredibly detailed (but adjusted to our specific situation/events). It was so good we ended up using it as the "core" timeline document for all of our vendors, family and bridal party to reference. Other vendors commented on how detailed and organized we were, but it was all Lauren. - Our family expressed to us after our wedding at how sweet Lauren (and the rest of her team) were. She was so fun and bubbly throughout the whole day! If she was ever stressed or concerned about something that was happening, she never let it show to any of us! - Several of our friends told us that they waited months to see any photos from their wedding. We had 15 photos to look at the DAY AFTER our wedding, and another 100 just two weeks after. It was so nice having some beautiful images to share with our friends and family when it was still fresh on everyone's minds vs. having to wait 2-3 months to see anything! There is probably more I could say about Lauren but hopefully you get the gist: Lauren will be THE best hire you make for your wedding!!

Lauren was truly the best investment we made in our special day. From our very first conversation, she made me feel at ease and relaxed about the whole wedding planning process. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, genuinely just enjoying each other’s company and laughing, which came across beautifully in our photos. She captured our day so wonderfully, from details to a long list of family members and all the gorgeous pictures in between. Her style truly reflects the timeless, classic and elegant bride. From the engagement session to our actual wedding Lauren went above and beyond. There was an emergency flash flood warning in NYC on the day of my wedding and Lauren came with smiles and an amazing attitude. She made us feel so comfortable and happy. She was amazing to work with and even took photos of our dog and baby on the wedding day as well. Her whole team was professional. We loved the way all the photos came out- timeless and really captured the essence of the wedding. Cannot say enough great things about Lauren!

I wish I could give Lauren an infinite number of STARS! She is without a doubt the best wedding photographer out there. Seriously look no further. My husband and I do not enjoy taking photos and weren't looking forward to that part of our wedding day... However, from the first moment I spoke to Lauren on the phone I was quickly put at ease. Hiring Lauren as our wedding photographer was one of the best and easiest decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Right from the beginning, Lauren helped us draft our day-of timelines based on sunset for our wedding date. She even mailed us a 'Welcome Wedding Guide' with wedding tips and a list of recommended vendors which we found to be so helpful. She was always quick to respond to e-mails and texts, quick to deliver sneak peaks and albums, was always very flexible and accommodating, and never made us feel rushed. On our wedding day, she prepared a detailed plan to capture all highlight moments and family formals, and made sure that we stayed on schedule. She's not a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, but at times it really felt like we had that level of support. Lauren is a classic, timeless wedding photographer, and we love how her pictures tell a story and capture raw, genuine, and authentic emotion. She truly listened and took time getting to know us which we really appreciated, and I know that we will be in-touch with Lauren when we need a photographer for other important milestones.

We’ve been telling our friends that a good wedding photographer can take great photos, but an amazing one can do that plus understand the bride and groom’s emotions at any given second, direct the groups effortlessly so the wedding stays on schedule, and more. Lauren Kearns is an AMAZING wedding photographer. From the moment we met Lauren for our engagement photos last July, she made us feel so comfortable, really leaned into our photogenic strengths, and created engagement photos that were beyond what we could have ever dreamed of. From the very beginning of our wedding day prep, through first looks, group photos and party photos, Lauren and her team were right by our side getting the most amazing shots and keeping our group on schedule throughout the process. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Lauren Kearns. Lauren was one of the first vendors I booked after seeing her work her magic at my friends wedding. Not only is she extremely kind (and hilarious!), she also makes everyone around her feel comfortable and confident. Prior to both my engagement shoot and wedding, the weather predicted terrible storms and rain. Lauren made me feel so much better, and my pictures turned out AMAZING! I am SO happy we chose Lauren as our photographer, and highly recommend her!

I can not say enough about Lauren and her staff. From the beginning of our day through to the last dance, she and the team were able to capture the magic that we felt throughout the event. Lauren is a true artist and each picture tells a story not just of the event but she is able to capture the essence of the couple. We knew her work was special after seeing the engagement pictures but she really outdid herself with the wedding. I will say that the photographers I have witnessed at other weddings were intrusive and took over the event with constant direction and posing. Lauren and her assistants became part of the wedding, like good friends who suggested poses and worked with the natural flow of the day. Lauren is adorable and quietly confident and she knows her clients and how to portray them in the their best light. Given the backdrop of Fiddler's Elbow and the wonderful designs created for us by our florist she had many opportunities to create once in a lifetime portraits. We were given a sampling of photos that captured the day within the week following the wedding, and they are all beautiful and full of movement and emotion. While we were getting ready, Lauren's assistant even helped me when I was having trouble with the strap on my shoe. This is just one example of how they were there to support us when we needed help. When it came to family portraits, Lauren was fast and precise with the poses she wanted and we were able to get to our cocktail hour and guests in a timely fashion. My favorite photos so far are those taken while we were getting ready, and the actual ceremony. Lauren even took photos of things that were special to my daughter, like her jewelry which are family heirlooms, and even the butterfly from her grandfather who inspired her to become a physician. The team captured eveything about how I envisioned my daughter's wedding would be. I am looking forward to the finished product and can't wait to get my parent album (that I hope is forthcoming!) because the photos are so beautiful I could look at them over and over. One piece of advice I would give prospective brides and families to minimize the stress of planning a big event is if the venue you are working with has a list of vendors they work with to seriously consider choosing them. We were lucky. In our case, our event planner at Fiddler's Elbow, the florist, Peonies to Paint Chips, the DJ from Eclipse Events and Lauren had all worked together before and this made the day move along seamlessly. Again, thanks to Lauren and her team we can relive a beautiful and special day in detail that otherwise would have been a blur because it went by so quickly!

Lauren is simply the BEST and we can never thank her enough for capturing our engagement and wedding day so perfectly. She is so talented and her photos come out beautifully, on top of that she is super organized and reliable, and just so easy to be around and get along with! Lauren did our engagement shoot in GA where my parents live; she had never been to the location before but after just a few minutes of scoping it out, she knew exactly which backdrops would make for the best photos. When it comes to actually taking the photos, she really makes you feel confident and natural in what otherwise could feel awkward never having done it before! We felt so at ease on our wedding day too knowing we could trust her to get all of the shots we wanted (along with ones we didn't even know we wanted!) all while keeping to the schedule. She is able to take charge and be directive while maintaining such a sweet and calming presence. Our families and wedding party made so many comments to us about how amazing she was on our wedding day. We received several photos the morning after our wedding, a large preview gallery a week later, and then we had ALL of our photos within a few more weeks! Lauren is incredible and we could not imagine our wedding day without her!! Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend her more highly!!! Lauren is above and beyond the best in the business! Her work is elite. I work in the wedding industry and I have encountered many many photographers who are good, but Lauren is exceptional. When I got engaged I booked her as soon as she told me she was available! She sets you up for success from the moment you book your date. Her process ensures that she gets to know you as a couple so that you are comfortable with her and in front of her lens. She is meticulous with details which is one of the things that makes her images so special. She notes what people/things/pets are important and makes sure to lovingly capture them in her images. I especially appreciated her timeline which maps out your whole wedding day to make sure you get every photo you need AND stay on time to actually enjoy your entire wedding. She also turned around the images so quickly (during PEAK wedding season)! We were looking at the first set of "preview" photos while on our honeymoon a week later and the full gallery was available in less than 2 months! Wedding photos are the physical memories and absolute treasures of that day - Lauren not only captures the moments, she also captures the love and the emotion of the day. Spectacular! Lauren and her second photographer Barb Wentzel did an absolute spectacular job capturing the joy of our daughter and son in law's wedding day. We had the pleasure of having Lauren photograph Kelly and Michael for their engagement. It was wonderful to get to know her before the big day and the engagement photographs were stunning and helped set the tone for the wedding when Kelly and Michael chose one for their Save the Date. Lauren kept in touch with us throughout the 16 months of planning and carefully laid out a detailed timeline and had us create shot lists so we were sure to get every photograph we wanted. We also hired Lauren to photograph the rehearsal dinner, which was a large family affair. Lauren fit in so well that my sister in law asked if Lauren was a close friend- a true testament to her wonderful personality! The day of the wedding Lauren and Barb arrived early to take detail shots and getting ready pictures. All of which were seamless and made us all feel so comfortable. The pictures of the church ceremony were spectacular and the portraits at the Mansion at Natirar were breathtaking! Lauren had many pictures to us very quickly which was so wonderful to be able to relive the day through the beautiful photographs. BEST wedding photographer!!! Lauren photographed our wedding in August 2022 (as well as our rehearsal dinner). From the moment we met Lauren she made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Throughout the whole wedding weekend she kept the photo taking process fun! The morning after the wedding by the time we woke up we had 8 sneak peak wedding photos in my inbox and by the following Sunday had 150+ other sneak peaks. The photos were each more BEAUTIFUL than the next and couldn't be more happy with how they came out. Our wedding was so special to us and full of joy and we will now be able to remember those moments forever thanks to Lauren!

The best wedding photographer out there. Lauren photographed my sister’s wedding in 2019. When looking at wedding venues, we narrowed it down to where we were getting married and there were 2 Saturdays open in July. Lauren was only available for 1 of the Saturdays, so that made our decision easy! Yes, Lauren is so good that you would want to choose your wedding date to make sure she is the photographer. We had so much fun doing our engagement shoot with her, and the best time during the day of the wedding. She is funny, calm and has the absolute best energy. I thought I was going to be nervous during pictures before the ceremony/wedding, but she kept it so fun. The bridal party all loved her. The guys even enjoyed taking the pictures AND 8 kids in our wedding all under 10. Other guests even commented on how funny and nice she is. We then started to receive pictures and words don’t do it justice for her work. We are forever grateful for the images she was able to capture of our special day. I cannot stop looking at them, almost a month later. Lauren is so organized, lovely to work with and captures stunning images. I could not recommend Lauren enough. It is so hard to put into words how lucky we feel to have found Lauren for our special day! From the moment we hired Lauren, we knew we had made the best decision. My husband and I are not photogenic and rarely take photos, and Lauren made us both feel confident from our first shoot with her (our engagement shoot). What can I say. All the reviews about Lauren are true. She was hands down one of the most incredible wedding vendors we hired throughout the entire wedding process. Lauren is top notch and as good as it gets. I spoke with many photographers. After reviewing multiple galleries of work from many amazing professionals, Lauren’s photography rose to the top every single time. She’s the best when it comes to capturing the moment and has an elevated eye – but what about everything else? She is just such a joy to be around. She makes you feel comfortable and made the entire process for us and our guests SO fun – like we didn’t want any of our sessions with her to ever end. So many people commented on how incredible Lauren was. I truly feel lucky that we found her and she was available for our date. I would be remiss not to mention that Lauren also helped us pick our wedding venue. Being from California, an east-coast wedding was something I spent a lot of time researching. Lauren provided many recommendations and acted as more than a photographer every step of the way. Lauren was the BEST decision for a photographer for my wedding day(s)! She actually photographed my first small covid wedding and then our larger wedding part 2, 1 year later. She is the absolute BEST! She is fun and silly, making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and at the same time so organized and professional. Lauren Kearns was simply the best choice for a wedding photographer that I could have ever asked for! From the very beginning, she was easy to talk to and I felt comfortable reaching out to her with my many wedding related questions. Like many others, my now-husband and I had to make some changes to our wedding due to Covid, and Lauren could not have been more flexible. What someone may not realize is that on their own wedding day, their photographer is truly the person they spend the most time with, so it is so important to have someone that brings a fun and relaxed vibe to the day! Lauren was just that and so much more. Between her and her second shooter, Barb, they had us smiling and laughing all day. The night of our wedding when we got back to the hotel, Lauren sent through an email with some "sneak peak" photos from the wedding day and we absolutely loved sharing those with our friends and family at brunch the next morning. The remainder of the photos were turned around in such a short amount of time. My husband and I looked at all the photos together and I think we have over 100 "favorite photos". Lauren's style is classic, natural, and timeless. I know her photography style will never look "trendy" when we look back on photos for years and years to come.

Our decision to hire Lauren as our engagement and of course wedding photographer is easily the best decision we made! She stuck with us over a 2-year engagement, through COVID uncertainty and did everything she could to make us feel comfortable throughout the entire process! We were definitely "photo newbies" when we hired Lauren for our engagement shoot July 2019. She drove all the way down to Longwood Gardens in PA, where I used to go all the time with my grandmother growing up and where Nick and I still visit every Christmas. It was nearly 100F that day, and she helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and braved the oppressive heat for nearly three hours, through countless locations around the grounds and two wardrobe changes. Not only did we have so much fun with Lauren, the photos were of course beautiful! So we just knew that she would be with us on our wedding as well! The day of the wedding was crazy to say the least, but Lauren was amazing in the weeks leading up, giving specific tips and instructions that helped us get and stay organized. She spent actual hours going over a minute-by-minute plan for the entire day, which made me feel so calm. She and Barb (photographer for the groom) worked seamlessly as a team to capture literally every moment of the day, as well as the gorgeous venue from all of its angles! Lauren is a true professional. Our guests still tell us today how infectious Lauren's smile and positive attitude was, and I know the groomsmen all had a BLAST with Barb during the getting ready photos. Lauren checked in with me all night, worked with our videographer (different company), and somehow managed to keep in touch with the venue staff, coordinators and the band leader and M/C all night to ensure we didn't miss any moments! Without her guidance and experience, we would never have been able to relax and just enjoy our day. Lauren's ability to capture emotion and special moments so quickly really helped us move through our huge family portrait list, and still fit in a beautiful couple's portrait session even without a first look (our preference) and a ceremony that started 45-min late! One last thing: if you are a bride who is curious or nervous about boudoir shoots, my 1:1 session with Lauren was not only one of the best experiences I've had, but also helped me get to know Lauren more and feel more comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera. I put an extensive amount of research into finding the perfect photographer for our July wedding this year. I reached out to many great people and companies, but ultimately decided on Lauren (which was not a hard decision) for many reasons. Her impressive portfolio of work and gorgeous photos were what initially caught my eye. She has an impressive way of not only capturing the most treasured moments of whatever you are celebrating, but capturing them at the most perfect angle in the most perfect light. After my first phone call with Lauren, I knew I would be in amazing hands with her. She asked all of the right questions and went through a tentative timeline with me right from the start (something not everyone did). It was several months later that my now husband and I actually met Lauren for our engagement photo session and we had an actual blast with her that day. For my husband to have had as good of a time as he did was something I was not even expecting, but it was because Lauren put us at ease right from the start. It re-affirmed our decision and we were that much more excited to have her with us on our big day, not to mention the engagement photos were breathtaking! Over the next few months I had a handful of questions come up in which Lauren responded to right away and with such positivity. She also drove to meet me at the venue the week of our wedding to do a final walk through with me (and be my sounding board as I was quite anxious about the upcoming weather forecast). On the day of our wedding, she felt like a friend - seamlessly hopping around doing her thing most of the day, but also somehow being a huge presence in making sure I was fully taken care of, happy, calm, and looking my best at all times. She also surprised us at the reception with a sneak peek slideshow of some shots placed at our sweetheart table. We left for our honeymoon 2 days later and while we were relaxing on the beach we received an email from Lauren with so may of our photos - it was such a treat to get to look through all of them together in that moment and so soon after our wedding. A memory that I will always cherish. While Lauren's talent and awesome personality will forever keep her business flourishing, in my opinion, it is the attention to detail outside of taking photos that will continue to put her above all the rest including an impressive welcome package, amazing packaging and stationary for anything she puts her name on, the most gorgeous USB drive you'll ever see, sweet surprise tokens of her appreciation from time to time and such professionalism throughout everything. I could go on for days, but the whole point here is Lauren will continue to impress you from start to finish and even after that. Her photos are amazing so you could never go wrong, but with her you get so much more than just photos. She is the best of the best!

I cannot say enough great things about Lauren and her team. We first met her almost a year before our wedding during our engagement photoshoot and we knew at that moment that we made the best choice! I met Lauren through being a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding. She was incredibly nice, professional and made the picture taking process fun. I was impressed by how comfortable she made us all feel in front of the camera, but even more impressed when I saw how the pictures came out! Our experience working with Lauren exceeded all expectations. Knowing that when all is said and done, the photographs are the primary way by which everyone remembers the specifics of the wedding day, we did not underestimate the vast importance of finding the perfect photographer. From our first conversation, Lauren’s bubbly and easygoing affect made us feel at ease. The artistry of each photo is unparalleled by that of the work of other wedding photographers we have encountered; the composition of each shot is perfect, our unbridled joy shines straight through, and the light is simply beautiful. I would highly recommend Lauren Kearns for photography for your wedding and engagement photos! Lauren is an amazing photographer and editor. She captured my wedding beyond what I could have ever explained or imagined! In addition, she was professional, fun and always by my side! Lauren went above and beyond, she also helped with the organization of the wedding! She eased me and my husband throughout the wedding process. I would highly recommend her to anyone! My husband and I added the additional photographer and an extra hour! I highly suggest it because you only have 1 night! Lauren and Barb are hysterical together. With photos being one of the most important keepsakes from your wedding you want to make sure you book a photographer you trust, who is organized, professional and personable and whose photos will stand the test of time.... Lauren was all of these things and more. She was punctual and responsive to our questions and the only photographer we met with who provided a rough timeline for us within 24 hours of our initial conversation. During our engagement session we were immediately comfortable, as we shared life stories, laughed about how her kids say the darndest things and popped champagne to get the perfect spray of bubbly for our photos (which turned out to be some of our favorites). And this was just the beginning! As the big day got closer, planning was so easy thanks to her helpful questionnaire that teased out our wish list and ultimately informed the details of the final schedule. Once the big day was here, Lauren (and her amazing assistant Barb!) were such a pleasure to have around - everyone in the bridal party, family and many of our guests mentioned how much they loved meeting Lauren and Barb.
