s you will be able to look back on to remember your special day. Lauren was nothing short of great. She was fabulous and her talent for shooting in film always found ways to amaze me. She made us feel so comfortable from the moment we met her, and we were able to laugh and joke and completely be ourselves on our wedding day around her. At the end of the day, I would like to think that Lauren wasn't only our photographer, but she ended up our friend as well. She is the BEST, and my husband and I love her to death!

choice to shoot in film - she really knows her stuff, and the images turned out so romantic and painterly. We chose a package that included an engagement shoot, and that was a great way for my groom and I to meet Lauren and Michael and get comfortable with them before the big day. Lauren is such a sweetheart and we consider her and Michael our dear friends. It was so comforting knowing our images were in their hands on the big day - we can't wait to see how they turn out!

their ability to capture the moment is uncanny. I called Lauren that afternoon and heard back from her that same day (even though she was on vacation in California!). Sadly, she was booked for our intended wedding date (Saturday, October 8th), but I was so head-over-heels for her THAT I CHANGED OUR WEDDING DATE!!! And believe me - it was worth it!!! She was an absolute joy to work with - so friendly and personable, and she was constantly tossing around creative ideas for wedding decor. And she was so patient through it all as our wedding transformed from a simple beachside ceremony into the "French Country meets Southern Charm" theme that we ended up with. My fiancé was not too thrilled about doing engagement photos (like most men, he doesn't enjoy being in front of a camera), but he completely changed his mind after the "Loveshoot" was over - Lauren did an AMAZING job of putting us both at ease and making us feel relaxed and confident (seriously, she has a gift!). I would recommend that everyone does a "Loveshoot", just so you can get used to working with them and being in front of the camera. They were always professional, prompt in responding to emails and phone calls, on time, extremely flexible, and upheld everything in our contract. We were so fortunate to have them photograph our wedding day, and I cannot recommend them enough!

They just know people. They sense moments about to happen, and are there, ready with the camera. But you never notice, until later when you see the picture. Lauren and Michael moved about so effortlessly and gracefully during the wedding, and they truly have an eye for detail, color, design, and emotion that is clear in their photography. The pictures before the wedding, the photographs from our "first look" session, the ceremony, the reception....each moment was so clearly defined and capture.
I would say I would recommend Lauren and Michael to anyone, but I don't have to...anyone who sees the pictures from our beautiful wedding asks for their card!

ill had the pang of wanting my northern beach wedding. I began looking again and stumbled across Lauren on a blog. I fell in love with her work and her whole concept. She wasn't just taking pictures- she was creating these beautiful images that made you say "WOW"! I've seen lots of friends and family wedding photos and none compared to the pictures I was looking at. I got goosebumps and emailed her right away. Lauren personally called me after receiving my email and we worked together to book a date. Since I was long distance, I wanted to keep in close contact with my vendors. With this photographer, nothing was easier. She is everything you'd want- friendly, energetic, and real! I emailed her with any questions or concerns. I felt comfortable enough to ask her for opinions and recommendations on other vendors, wedding timeline planning, and weather!

ich was an extra bonus. I know nothing about photography by any means but what I liked about her website was that the featured photos that were fun, had the couple's personality shinning through, bright, and most of all not posed. I called Lauren 2 months before our scheduled reception and she was able to do it. I loved her personality, how easy going and positive she was especially since I had no idea what the heck I was doing. A week before the reception we decided that we wanted to take a boat to the venue. I called Lauren, her and Michael were up for it. On the day of our reception it was cloudy and looked like it was going to rain, Lauren and Michael were brave enough to take their camera equipment on the boat and we got some awesome photos out of it. Michael's whole side of his shirt was drenched because of how choppy the water was, but their cameras were safe in plastic bags. I loved that they were up for anything. My husband is pretty shy and what I loved most is that they made him feel comfortable. Our pictures turned out amazing and they show our personality. We still need to order photos for our house and when I finally get a break from school I'll call Lauren to order them. When we do have children, Lauren Kinsey Photography will be taking our first family photos. Nothing short of awesome!

A friend of mine recommended Lauren and after checking out her adorable website and blog I knew I had to meet her. We spoke over the phone and I instantly knew she would be a delight to work with!
My first face-to-face meeting with Lauren was on our wedding day and I instantly felt so comfortable with her. I'm usually hate having my picture taken, but she gave amazing direction and was so experienced that I knew the pictures would come out perfect and felt so at ease. She had wonderful ideas for creative shots and was an absolute joy to work with!
