But what really stood out from our meetings was that Lauren was patient, inquisitive, and genuinely invested in working with us to explore new and creative (and bilingual!) films that were not previously in her portfolio. The end results -- an English + Spanish save the date film, a fun and not so traditional short wedding day film, and a stunning full wedding day film. sure our vision came to life while maintaining her creative skills and professional knowledge. The day of was efficient, direct, and easy. The outcome was better than we could imagine! Look no further than our girl, Lauren Maria & team!

al family portraits. We didn’t realize that she would also become our go-to photographer for life events! We went through her portfolio and there was something about the Lauren Maria style that caught our eye. She’s not limited to light-and-airy or dark-and-moody style. She is excellent at capturing candid moments as well as setting up the perfect shot. Originally we had agreed to engagement pictures and a wedding. But when covid hit and our reception was postponed, we decided to have a “minimony” in my parents backyard in California. I didn’t expect her to want to travel cross country for an 11 person party, but she was so excited for it! And I’m so so happy she was able to do it. Not only did we get incredible photos from the wedding, but she also met us for portraits at Big Sur. Those pictures are the most amazing pictures I’ve ever been in. Lauren Maria was great at getting us more comfortable in front of the camera and directing us through poses, which was invaluably helpful. She really takes advantage of the moment and even had us jump out of the car on the side of the road once to get a perfect sunset shot. On the day of the minimony, she ended up being the one taking charge and coordinating everyone, which my family was very grateful for. If you can’t already tell, I’m so happy Amy recommended Lauren Maria to us. Our family and friends have been asking for her contact information because they love the photos so much and my sister has even said “I’m glad I won’t have to search for a wedding photographer, I already know I’m going to use her”! We can’t wait to work with her next year for the reception, and for all future events. (Maternity photos? Christmas photos? We’ll see... :) )

worked with Lauren when I surprised my wife with the proposal so we already had a history with her but working with her for the wedding showed how talented she is. My wife and I (and both of our families) are close to perfectionists so Lauren already had her hands full but she was up to the challenge and so much more. She did a great job of organizing her team so that there was always someone with both sides of the wedding party. Also, we decided to do all of our pictures before the actual ceremony which we absolutely LOVED and Lauren did an outstanding job in terms of having everyone ready to go so that there was no wasted time. She has a great demeanor about her and that was evident in the fact when my wife and I were totally done with wanting to take pictures and just wanted to get the reception started but Lauren calmly and nicely told us that it was only a couple more minutes left and only a few more pictures and she knew that we would be thankful that we took them at the end. She was definitely right and we are very appreciative that she was able to convince us to do that! We loved the photos that we already have framed and hung up in our house and we're obsessed with the video and so are other friends/family because we have received multiple messages about how much they loved it! Lauren is very accommodating with requests and even was able to send us multiple pictures the day after the wedding which we have found not to be the case with every photographer because multiple friends that got married before us still don't even have their pictures! We would love to have Lauren document all of our milestones in life and I can GUARANTEE that you will be happy if you decide to work with Lauren.

Leading up to the wedding, there were lots of questions on our ability to stream the ceremony in order to have a smaller, safer, and socially distanced wedding. Our venue was great but it was in the middle of nowhere with spotty wifi and limited mobile signal. Lauren was candid and upfront with us about the challenges of getting a successful stream out. She took the lead on finding professional videographers who could do it and made it simple for us from a vendor perspective. Also, her accountability and willingness to stand behind their work made easy for us to trust that it would get done. Finally, the pictures look great, the turnaround time was prompt, and I'd definitely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

d forth on my second plan for my wedding. I don't think I had a solid plan until a week before, and she was completely understanding. She was able to update the contract for a smaller event. On the day of the wedding, she came over (masked) and got some great, unforgettable shots of me and my fiance at our home. Neither of us are photogenic, but you wouldn't know it seeing these pictures. I will cherish them forever! We then had a tiny ceremony at a church nearby, and got some memorable shots and portraits there, too. Lauren is wonderful at setting up some stunning shots, even in the world's worst lighting, which we had because we chose a mid day ceremony. Since I had no coordinator or bridesmaids due to covid, Lauren's presence was very helpful, supportive and reassuring for me. Since most of our guests couldn't come, we opted for a livestream and it was absolutely incredible. I had no idea what the stream was going to be like, and imagined it might be poor zoom quality, but it was very professional and streamed privately on YouTube. They even had multiple angles and great audio! GET THE LIVESTREAM. The guests who weren't able to attend had such a great view of the ceremony, it's like they were actually there. I can't overstate how worth it the live stream was. It also gives us a forever-recording of the event, so we can always remember it. I highly recommend Lauren! I'm so glad that I worked with her and her team. They are total pros and she is a true artist.

When she arrived she was calm, didn't stress me out, and had a smile on her face the whole time.
