Lauren Swanson: Onsite Makeup Artist

She still owes me $145.35, which I paid to her in February, not to mention, she still has not reimbursed my mother and mother-in-law their money. A few girls have received their reimbursement after they emailed her, but she had the audacity to say they were "harassing" her. I have tried to contact her via text and email with absolutely zero response. I understand, mistakes. I would have moved on should the reimbursements have come in a timely manner, but my wedding was September 28th, and I have had enough of the unprofessional behavior.

She has worked with my busy schedule and having to reschedule my trial and appointment since the beginning and that is something that is so hard to find. I drove 3 and a half hours for my trial and it was worth EVERY mile. I met Lauren at her house for my trial, she was so welcoming and we got right to work. Her makeup room is beautiful, organized, clean and relaxing. She asked me questions on how I wanted to look, what I normally wear for makeup, what my dress looked like and my overall idea and theme of my day. Lauren understood exactly what I wanted and more! Everything that I had imagined I would look like for my big day, she exceeded. My makeup perfectly matched my overall theme and matched my dress to a T. Talking with her was so easy, she is so incredibly talented and made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt. Lauren even has her own line of mink eyelashes that look and feel amazing and she sent me home with the ones she used during our trial! If you are looking for the best of the best, seriously look no further! Lauren is amazing and you will not be disappointed in her work!

she put in her work. During our trial I felt like I was talking to an old friend which instantly put me at ease. I’m the type of girl who never really wears a lot of makeup and I was initially nervous about what I would look like. Lauren definitely has great instincts though and was able to find the right look to make me look unbelievably perfect. On wedding day she was on site early, prepared, and just as excited as I was! The final look was natural, beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I felt perfect and honestly could not have asked for more. My bridesmaids LOVED her. Each one had their own preferred look and they all turned out absolutely breathtaking. Lauren nailed it!!!

I sweated and cried so much throughout the day but my makeup didn't budge and was still flawless at 2AM when I took it off. She arrived on-time and got to setting up her area, everyone was so impressed by the sheer amount of makeup she had brought. There was only five of us getting our makeup done, which she had no issue getting us all glamorous in the allotted time. Every girl had an individual look, which is amazing because every girl has their own personality and she let that shine through. When it came to my turn in her chair, we had decided to change up my look from the trial. I had full confidence in Lauren to make these changes. In the end, I am so glad we did because I looked amazing! The color choices she picked fit the theme of my wedding so well. Like in my trial, she made me feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident on my wedding day! Logistically, she responds quickly, she is reasonably priced/affordable, she’s on time, and she does amazing work! I love Lauren and her work! I wish she was close by so I could use her all the time! -Trial Review- From the moment I sat in her makeup chair for my trial, I knew I made a good choice. She was easy going and talked me through her ideas, which made the process less intimidating and more comfortable. Lauren did the most amazing makeup in no time at all, it could have been because our trial session felt more like old friends catching up than a business exchange. I cannot wait for my wedding day, where I can look as glamorous as I did the day of my trial! Quick note - Lauren has her own line of eyelashes, Lauren Lashes, and girl are they great - natural and glamorous all at the same time!

akeup! She provided touch ups thoughout the day for our photos! My makeup stayed on for 11+ hours and still looked perfect! I highly recommend her for anyone looking to get their makeup done for events, weddings, etc. She is the absolute best!

ptional. I have had two wedding makeup trials with Lauren. Lauren offered to do a second trial for free to ensure that I felt completely confident and happy with my makeup for my upcoming wedding. I had my second trial today, we finished up around 1:30 pm and as I am writing this review 9 hours later, my makeup still looks flawless! Lauren goes above and beyond for her clients. I have combination skin with an oily T zone and after my first trial, she went out and purchased multiple products to help reduce the shine on my face. Lauren also purchased additional foundation colors to ensure that she has plenty of options for all of the skin tones/types in my bridal party. Lauren also has her own line of lashes; they’re truly stunning. I recently had eyelash extensions but after Lauren put her “Lauren lashes” on me to finalize my wedding day look, I was sold and loved them even more! The lashes she chose to complete my look are feminine, bold and wispy!! She also has multiple styles from more natural looking lashes to super glam lashes! My wedding is June 9 and I am so excited and feeling so confident about my makeup and overall wedding look! If you’re looking for a true makeup artist, Lauren is the best!!!
