This included questions about the precise people we wanted to be photographed before the ceremony, as well as the places and locations where we wanted the pictures taken. As soon as she got all this information, she created a photo timeline, which was amazing and really helped to take the pressure off for the big day. Lauren also stuck to that list of pictures we had given her but also regularly checked in with us to make sure nothing was missed or wanted. In addition, she helped us set up for the wedding when we arrived, which she did not have to do, and we greatly appreciate it! We enjoyed working with her from start to finish and would recommend her without a second thought. I look forward to doing business with her again in the future.

Not only is Lauren a phenomenal photographer, she provided us with multiple sneak peeks and had our entire wedding album done in just a few weeks! e was genuinely excited for us which made us even more excited! For our engagement session she already had locations scouted out and knew exactly what she wanted to capture. She was so fun and encouraging during our shoot - my husband and I are not big "look at me" people, but Lauren's approach made us feel so comfortable and helped us enjoy the day even more. Leading up to the wedding Lauren was always in contact and was happy to answer any questions I had. In my typical fashion I came up with a few last-minute ideas and she was completely honest and supportive about what would be best or what might not work the way we thought it would - which I really appreciated! On our wedding day Lauren and her partner were on time, dressed appropriately, and were completely prepared! They went over a few things with me without overwhelming me and they got straight to work capturing details for the day. I had let her know that there was a park we wanted to take photos in after the ceremony, and she had already found a place there that had a variety of backgrounds/scenery that let us get a ton of different photos in a relatively short amount of time. During our family photos in the church Lauren and her partner made sure we stayed on time, everyone was ready, and that each photo was staged appropriately. I couldn't believe how well this part went! Even for the photos for just my husband and I she gave us a variety of prompts, poses, and ideas and the photos turned out even better than we imagined. Overall, Lauren was and is an excellent photographer and captured all the moments we wanted to remember, made us feel comfortable and excited about our day, and was just fantastic! I would recommend her to anyone! THANK YOU Lauren!!!

t wedding day photos. Her process started with asking us some basic info about our relationship, our likes and dislikes, and what we were hoping to get out of the engagement and wedding photos. She also sent us a helpful, in-depth manual that explained her philosophy and process, and it gave some tips for how to make the most out of our photo sessions (it also included really helpful tips on what to wear! I had no idea what made a good photo outfit and what made a bad one). When we met up for our engagement photos, Lauren did a great job of directing where/when she needed to, but also allowing us to be really natural with each other and in our posing. I asked Lauren bluntly what happened if the engagement photos came back and I didnt like any. She answered very honestly and said that would probably mean she wasn’t the right wedding photographer for us and we probably needed to find a photographer with a different style. I really appreciated her honesty in that response. Even more, I appreciated the photos - they were really beautiful! My fiancé and I looked like ourselves but she captured great moments of love and happiness between us. It was awesome! As the wedding approached, Lauren sent out a more detailed questionnaire that included questions about exact people we wanted pictures of before the ceremony, the combinations of family members, places and locations we were excited about for backdrops, etc. It was really helpful because it forced us to organize our thoughts and wrangle our family members to figure out our wedding day timeline. And Lauren really stuck to that list of pictures - we got every important family photo and friend photo that was important to us before the ceremony and rowdy portion of the day began. She checked in with us frequently to make sure we hadn’t missed anything, and to make sure we got the shots we wanted. During the wedding ceremony, Lauren was almost invisible to my husband and I. I didn’t notice her at all during the ceremony, but she got the most beautiful shots! She did such a good job of keeping her distance and staying in the background but still capturing the best moments. During the reception, she was somehow always there the minute I was with a group of people who wanted a picture together, but she also mingled and got hilarious and fun shots of our guests. One of the greatest surprises was the day after our wedding, we got a text to say that a “sneak peak” of photos was already available for us to see. The sneak peak was much more than a peak! There were already so many beautiful shots we got to share with our family members right away. Then it only took two weeks for Lauren to review, edit, and send us our full gallery. Her regular timeline gave her longer but she sent us everything early, which was a nice bonus for us and our family members who were hoping for Christmas card photos. Ultimately, Lauren was incredibly professional from a business perspective, and incredibly talented from an artistic perspective. It’s pretty hard to be good at both of those, but Lauren has it down to a science and an art form. We loved working with her from start to finish and we would recommend her without hesitation for any photography needs!

amazing each and every photo that Lauren snaps is. She has a magical way of finding the perfect angle, lighting and of course expressions. Not only did she capture our day perfect, she helped with every little detail and had an answer for every question I had. When rain popped up in the forecast the day before our wedding and it was too late to order umbrellas, Lauren saved the day with some umbrellas that she keeps on her. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, Lauren is simply the best!

. She took GORGEOUS pictures of our small ceremony and the reception at my parents’ house. I truly can’t get over how beautiful our pictures turned out. extremely professional throughout the whole process. I do get a bit self conscious at times, so I was super nervous before arriving. Lauren made me feel like a model the entire time. She is an expert at what she does, so she was able to direct us in poses, hand placements, where to look, everything! Even though we chose the location, she already had an idea of where she wanted us to stand and pose. As soon as we arrived and got introductions out of the way, she was ready to go! The whole process ran smoothly and I am so in love with my pictures. :) Even on just a personal level, Lauren seems like a really great person. . The day of the wedding, she honestly was such a calming force to have around to make the whole day such a fun and enjoyable time. I love that she helped cue us into taking drop dead gorgeous pictures, but also gave us some reign to let us be ourselves. Everyone who has seen our pictures certainly noted how much of our real personalities with each other really showed in all of the photos. Also, her ability to find that just perfect light is seriously spot on! My favorite part was being able to sit down with my husband the next week while still on our honeymoon and look through the whole gallery and fall in love all over again! otographers. It just felt impersonal. So when I found Lauren's site, read her bio, and saw her beautiful photos, I thought I might be onto something. Even our first experience talking with her was just so easy - my husband and I lived out of the state at the time so we Facetimed Lauren for our first meeting and she was so sweet! She made us feel special and important from the very beginning. She worked very well with us even though we were out of state, and when it rained and was 32 degrees out on the morning we had planned to do engagement photos, she encouraged us to go ahead and take photos in the rain anyways! We had travelled 6 hours to be here, so we went for it and the photos turned out to be amazing! What could have been a really disappointing experience was turned in to such a fun and exciting one by Lauren's attitude to it all. And her sweet husband came with her to hold her umbrella while she took our photos. I knew then that we had definitely made the right choice in our photographer. Also, I highly recommend taking engagement pictures with her, it was a great time to get to know her a little better and feel more comfortable taking professional pictures before the wedding. Leading up to the wedding, Lauren was super attentive and easy to communicate with. She utilized Honeybook, which made organization super easy. Then on the wedding day, Lauren captured everything perfectly! She kept us on track throughout the day, but nothing ever felt rushed. She and her second shooter were so encouraging and fun to be around throughout the entire day even though they were on the feet essentially nonstop for 10 hours. As someone who really doesn't like having my photo taken, Lauren made it so easy. She gave gentle and straightforward instructions to put my husband and I in natural looking poses. She helped keep us laughing and comfortable too. After the wedding, Lauren posted sneak peeks in the first couple weeks and even managed to get all our photos to us early, less than a month after the wedding! I cannot express enough how sweet and hard-working Lauren is. I'm so thankful I found her for our wedding photographer, and I know we will use her again and again in the future for anniversary and family shoots!
