She made us feel comfortable and beautiful. Months after the engagement session I still had various engaged friends asking me for contact information for Lauren! Lauren is so kind, reasonably priced, and provides timeless stunning photos. She was such a pleasure to work from my first email to her to the last few texts that my wedding photos and blog were available to view. She had the same hospitality through the whole process and sent us all the completed photos in about three weeks! That is crazy! Thank you Lauren for capturing our moment and for allowing us to relive it again through these photos.

inally arrived. Lauren and her second shooter, Christine, were so fun to work with and made it carefree so we could just be us and enjoy the day. She had already sent us previews that same night, as well as the next morning. While she was editing over the next couple weeks, she would periodically send me a few photos. These were a lifesaver while waiting for the whole album, which she got to us very quickly! We absolutely love her and her work and are so happy with the photos she took for us to remember our wedding day. We would not hesitate to recommend her to all of our friends and family!

so a new friend. Lauren did our engagement shoot and the wedding, we all did a separate small spring shoot with her. Lauren got to know us and what we liked and didn't, so when it came to the big day she would know what shots we would want. She was easy to talk to and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The photos turned out amazing and the turn around was quick, we just love Lauren and if you want not only a photographer that will be perfect but also a new friend. look no further than Lauren. One of our biggest priorities, with both the engagement and wedding photos, was that the photographer capture the real emotion and love that my husband, Kyle, and I feel for each other. And HOLY COW—Lauren did an outstanding job! She made us feel so comfortable, with just the right amount of guidance that allowed for a perfect amount of both traditional and candid photos. Our pictures were also delivered to us quickly after the wedding. We had an amazing time looking through them—we laughed, we cried, and we relived our beautiful wedding day, thanks to the care and artistry that Lauren pours into her work. At the end of the day, isn’t that what wedding photos are for? Lauren’s rates are also very reasonable, especially for the amount of creativity, grace, and professionalism that she provides. We definitely plan to connect with Lauren again for our future photography needs, and can’t recommend her enough. She is downright amazing!

never done professional photos before, Zack and I weren't sure what to expect. Within the first few minutes she put us at ease and we ended up having a blast. We got rained on towards the end of the shoot and put on matching powerlifting tshirts and jeans and those ended up being some of the most genuine and wonderful photos of us - good weather or not, Lauren just went with the flow and still delivered wonderful pics. Fast forward 6 months to the wedding. As a bride, I was insanely nervous. Nervous about my dress, my hair, my makeup, my blemishes, about seeming genuine in our photos instead of staged and frozen... when I saw the first photo she shared of that day, I cried. She captured Zack and I perfectly in our wedding day bliss. Our wedding party looked amazing and I'm so thankful with how patient Lauren and her second shooter were with us. We were behind on schedule and they handled it with grace and support. Lauren was meant to do this stuff. Candids of the ceremony and reception are my favorite because you can see the emotion; the joy, the happiness, the bittersweet tears of our mothers who seemed to never stop crying... At the end of the night, I had family and wedding party telling me how much they liked the photographers. That tells me how much if an impact they had! Zack and I moved out to Washington state 2 days after our wedding, but if I can plan it so that we can get more photos with Lauren when we are back visiting family in Illinois, I would love for her to be able to capture other big moments in our life together. She was a blessing to have involved with the biggest day of our life. On top of the wonderful experience, she was in our budget and got our wedding photos to us in a little over 2 weeks. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer and I can't imagine having anyone else there to do all of that other than Lauren.
