Laurenda's Restaurant & Catering

hey were great at communication & the most caring group of folks!!! I absolutely love Laurenda’s Restaurant & now I love love love their catering! I will definitely use Laurenda’s Catering in the future!

od was terrific, many people got seconds and thirds and never ran out of food.

n options and dairy free desserts. Amber, the chef & staff did an excellent job fulfilling our request. The food was delicious and plentiful. From our first contact with Amber until our last, she was extremely helpful and efficient. I highly recommend Laurenda’s catering ! You will not be disappointed!

pointed. They exceeded our expectations in food quality, presentation and decorations. Don’t let that modest building on Line Street fool you. These hard working folks can do it and make it look easy.

very professional and even helped us set up some of our personal decor. Thank you to Laurendas!!!

imely manner. Would definitely use them again.

Every single detail was executed by Laurenda’s exactly the way that my daughter’s wanted and the food was absolutely amazing!!! The entire staff pure the heart and soul into meeting the need of their customers with amazing food and amazing service that simply warm your soul!!! Thank you so much Laurenda’s for all that you are and all that you have done !!!

nd the set up and presentation were truly impressive. The selection of the cheeses and fruit was over the top amazing. We selected the chicken strip, roasted potatoes and corn. Wow is all I can say. If you are looking for caterer that will not let you down nor break the bank then you need Laurendas. Amber was the best host and ensured our meal went off without issues. They handle the clean up and boxing afterwards as well which was a nice treat. You won't be disappointed

have asked for better! The guest were raving over the food! We HIGHLY recommend for your next event!!!

re out of town and asked for my input, I suggested they call Laurenda as well. So we had great meals for rehearsal as well as wedding reception. From planning with Chad to day off with Amber, it was a great experience as well as a great meal. If there were any hiccups, I never knew it! Amber took care of everything professionally and kindly. She and her crew set up everything exactly as I asked on the dining tables. They also did a lovely job on the tables for the appetizers and buffet. It looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. Amber really was a joy to work with. Thanks to all at Laurenda’s!!!

abulous to work with.

t them. First off, every meeting we had with them we were treated like wedding royalty. Amber specifically helped us, and I never felt worried or concerned because she on was on top of it! She became more like family after all of our meetings and the wedding. We had a taco bar for the reception, which was not only fun but delicious as well! Our family and friends were asking if they could get this at the restaurant they loved it so much. For cocktail hour, I HIGHLY recommend their charcuterie table! They create a beautiful layout of a variety of cheeses, meats, fruit and more. It was the perfect transition to the reception. Now for the reception food.. we still have people commenting on how wonderful the food was! And I have to agree 110%! Everything was fresh, seasoned perfectly and there was plenty for everyone. We did a buffet style and Laurenda’s decorated the tables they used with gorgeous floral arrangements in our color scheme. It’s such a thoughtful gesture and one less thing you have to worry about having to decorate. It’s hard to eat on your wedding day, but no worries, Laurenda’s makes you a yummy basket with ALL the food! And good portions too so you’re definitely not going to bed hungry. If you want a caterer who treats you like you’re apart of the family, you need to call Laurenda’s ASAP and ask for Amber! You won’t regret it!

h fried chicken, mac and cheese, squash casserole, green beans , and a few other delicious southern sides!!! Amber was very kind and helpful with getting everything set up for our big day!! Amber and Chad and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job from day one through our wedding day!!! Highly recommend this place, just go by on a Sunday lunch and you will see what the fuss is all about !!!!

e staff went above and beyond during our wedding and everything was run smoothly! We loved working with them and look forward to visiting them at their restaurant in the future!

for our catering needs!

e food tables, to cake cutting and cleanup. Laurenda’s makes you feel like you’re the only bride they have but truth is, they have hundreds of brides and the fact that I was able to get them for my particular wedding date was short of a miracle. They even made a large basket filled with all the food from the reception so my husband and I could actually eat later that evening. Literally could go on and on but story short, they are the best of the best!!!

as beautiful. They ran everything so smoothly and it was all so delicious! I highly recommend Laurenda’s for catering at any event, they do the best and make sure you get what you want. Could not have asked for a better wedding caterer!!

ff is so nice to work with, and getting everything coordinated with them is so easy. They have a huge selection of food to choose from, and you can set up your menu however you want to. They also decorate their own tables at the event! You just tell them what your colors and florals are. Everything is very professional. Highly recommend. Would have them cater again in a heartbeat.

s! I would recommend Laurenda's Catering to anyone. We really enjoyed doing a tasing before the wedding to get an idea of what we wanted. We couldn't have been happier with the food and everyone we worked with during the process!

entire process all the way through absolutely wonderful. Their staff is so dedicated to ensuring that a couple’s big day goes absolutely flawlessly when it comes to the food they selected. Not only is their food absolutely delicious (we still have people who attended talking about it) but the detail they put into their presentation to ensure it fits your wedding vision is spectacular! Amber, Chad, Laurenda, and their entire team were wonderful to work with from start to finish. At the end of the night they created a box with all of our menu items for my husband and I to enjoy back at our hotel. No detail was overlooked. I would highly recommend them to any couple searching for the perfect caterer!

husband and I had food for after the wedding since we didn’t have much time to eat during the reception. I highly recommend to any bride. Their menu selection is incredible and their display is gorgeous.

he whole process went so smooth from the planning, taste testing, to setup, serving, and cleanup. The staff was so wonderful as always, and I could not be happier with how everything went. If you are looking for a caterer, look no further!

ed. That is unacceptable considering how much we paid. I expected a lot more from the team and Laurendas and entrusted my wedding day food in their hands, biggest mistake looking back. We paid for a buffet style (recommended by them) with beef tenderloin, shrimp and grits, 3 sides and a salad. I was told after that self serve is “risky” and that my guests we’re getting “more than normal” and that is why we ran out. So be careful when you go with their recommended buffet style and make sure people are allowed to have more than 2 shrimp for $43 a person. The staff was pretty young and not the most experienced in my opinion. If people were supposed only have two shrimp then they should have told me and I would have paid for more or they could’ve served it so at least everyone could’ve had some. They did bring in some chicken tenders towards the end to try to make up for it, better than nothing but not what I paid for. I was told over and over again that there would be plenty of food and leftovers so I thought planning for a just few more guests than we had was overkill, but I was wrong! The food still tasted good from my perspective (wish everyone could’ve tried it) so that is why I am throwing in a couple stars. A couple of other things to note: if they do your wedding the day after another one at the same venue ask for new table cloths on the food tables & if it’s prom season you may need to specify that you would not like people there taking prom photos less than an hour before you walk down the aisle :)

the food was. There was no stress or hassle with communication with Laurendas. The staff were so incredibly helpful, kind, and took away any stress related to catering on the wedding day itself. Laurendas served our guests, were incredibly professional, and offered us a warm congratulations. Their food melted in your mouth and every staff member was kind and joyful! If you’re needing a caterer - use laurendas. You will not regret it.

nd all of our guest keep talking about how wonderful it was. We highly recommend Laurenda and her team.

erfect. When designing our wedding menu, they helped us pick the perfect traditional dinner as well as a fun taco bar for a late night snack! The florals and presentation of the food was perfection and they even made sure to match the color palate from my florist and wedding planner. On top of all of this, the food was delicious!! People are still talking about how wonderful everything was 6 weeks out. Cannot recommend Laurenda’s and their entire staff enough!

ns. All of the servers were so pleasant, and Alyssa was SO easy to work with. She made all of the nerves go away leading up to the big day. I would highly recommend Laurenda's for anyone's big day!!!

rything! My husband was worried that the shrimp and grits would be tough, but they were some of the best I’ve ever had! The mini burgers tasted like someone stood at the grill. The chicken tenders were still crispy. For our sides we had green beans and mashed potatoes. Both fantastic!! You can tell the passion that goes into the food. Chad and his crew were wonderful!! They even set up flowers to match! They also packed a little Togo basket. I could not have picked a better company. I would 1000000% recommend them to anyone.

c basket for us at the end of the night, which was so very sweet. Choose Laurenda's for your wedding, you will not regret it!!

helpful, they even offered to help us watch our dog for a bit. For cocktail hour we had their pretzel bar which was a big hit! We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID and they were very understanding and flexible. Would definitely choose them again!

onal and their many years of experience are evident. I would recommend them to everyone!

tems from their “buffet” menu to make sure we had the perfect combo to fit our personalities. They allowed us to taste and tweak the menu ahead of time and were so helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. They literally had every last detail figured out. Their presentation and staff were top notch and so professional, and our guests loved all of our selections. Great quality food and people, and it shows through their work and their reputation throughout the community!

was so helpful in offering suggestions and including special items we wanted to have. They were so sweet and treated us like family throughout the process. Everyone kept saying how delicious everything was and it was such a nice touch to have the picnic basket to go at the end of the night! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and service!

e to COVID-19! They took care of all things food and drinks and even displayed their product beautifully and safely. They have the absolute BEST tasting food and are the easiest people to work with! 10/10 would absolutely recommend to any and everyone!

the food is amazing! Everytime guests speak to me about my wedding they always mention how amazing the food was! I highly recommend Laurenda's for any event!

stry. The food was delicious and their service is incredible. The staff that worked our event made their tables look stunning with their own decorations and personal touch. I highly recommend Laurendas for anything you need! Go visit their restaurant in Greer, SC too!

or to our wedding, so I wanted to use her pancake recipe, and they replicated it perfectly. It felt like she was there that day, which meant the world to me. Our wedding was almost a month ago but I'm STILL hearing from guests about how amazing the food was. You will only regret NOT using Laurenda's for your big day so CHOOSE THEM. They are hands down the best around!

ing at the Zen on 2-29-20, and everything was perfect! All our guests left fat and happy!

had!! We had a chocolate fountain that made appetizers to dessert a BLAST and not just for the little kids! We had several different food options for everyone to choose from and I sure got a sampler of all things!! We rented china through them and everything was set up and bussed effortlessly! Truly made for a gorgeous night and a fairytale wedding come true. I would recommend them a thousand times over!

r families are still talking about how great the food was. I also love that Laurenda packs the Newlyweds a basket of food to go. With all the people we visited with we didn't get to eat much so that meal came in handy! Such a great idea! Thank you again for the beau experiences!

our venue and other decorations. They were so easy to work with and made sure everything was exactly want we wanted. Would definitely recommend to anyone for their wedding!

for better services, everything was beautiful and the meal was fantastic.

ssured us everything would go smoothly on the wedding day. Alyssa was wonderful! We had multiple tastings with her and she made sure everything was exactly what we wanted. The only mishap we had was that we ran out of some food before some of my guests even got to eat. Also, we ran out of plates as well so my guests were using to go boxes as plates. If you do salad on your buffet make sure to ask for salad bowls so this won't happen. Laurenda's sends the Bride and Groom home with a basket of all the food that you picked out just in case you didn't get to try everything, because it is a busy day. If you're looking for affordable & delicious food, Laurenda's is a great option. I promise you, your guests won't stop raving about how yummy the food was at your wedding!

time and the food was delicious.
