meline (my fault for taking too long to get ready!) BUT Lauren and Will kept their cool, reassured me and were still able to get all of the shots we wanted. They were so professional, timely, and they are both FABULOUS at their job! Our pictures were breathtaking and we cried and laughed as we looked through them. Lauren also took our engagement pictures and they came out beautifully. We also love that Lauren gives you the rights to the pictures - it makes printing and using the pictures in photo books, save the dates, etc. SO much easier. I just cannot say enough about how much better our wedding was because we used LaurenJean Photography.

y Fall wedding like weather, sunset and the optimum times for getting the best pictures. My husband is always very uncomfortable having his photo taken but working with Lauren was great. He was relaxed. She and her helper really were flies on a wall so to speak. She gotpictures that I didn't even realize she got until we saw the photos. And she got a great mix of all the guests so we could see everyone having fun! I can't wait to hire her again for my baby bump and family photos when it's time.

ven fully received my wedding photos, but the 17 photos she posted on Facebook the day after the wedding were so beautiful; I cannot wait to see the rest. The way she uses lighting is stunning and natural; There's no need for drastic editing. And Lauren is so nice, friendly and fun. She listens to your ideas for poses and any other thoughts on what you would like. Lauren makes you feel comfortable and catches you in the moment that makes the photos that much more incredible. What I love most is that Lauren loves what she does and she is amazing at it. She gets just as excited as the bride, which is so sweet and genuine. You won't regret going with Lauren!

BOTH our engagement and wedding pictures. And working with Lauren and her husband couldn't have been more fun. They take the time to get to know you, and understand the vision for your big day. We really appreciated that. She also loved the input that I gave with ideas for shots! Not all photographers will listen and acknowledge that you have ideas too that could be good! Overall, our day was perfect, and Lauren and her husband were able to capture that. They captured all the love we felt that day, and we will be forever grateful for that!!

anted photos that would be fantastic. I took it to google to locate our photographer and emailed SOOO many photographers. After multiple email conversations with various businesses, we narrowed it down to 3 and set up meetings. Lauren, my husband and I met for coffee, and we knew right when we left we wanted LaurenJean. Her personality is so easy to work with and meshed so well with ours. I've been to countless weddings where the photographer has been EXTREMELY rude to the guests, so it was important we found a down to earth photographer. Beyond her personality, the photos she showed us were beautiful and really told a story. A couple months later she met us about an hour & 1/2 north of Phoenix for an E-session and we had a blast. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I would highly recommend E-sessions as it makes the big day a lot more relaxed because you feel like you already know Lauren. On our wedding day, her and her husband arrived on time and got started immediately. We worked together to choose perfect picture spots at the venue. It was also really cool how she set up pictures at the reception for our guests to see and get a sneak peek of! The weeks after the wedding were killer as I waited semi-patiently but more so anxiously for our photos to be completed and was overwhelmed with joy at how they turned out. They were better than I had even imagined. We will definitely be returning to her at some point in our future when littles start arriving. :)

sonal ideas for how we wanted our special day captured. Upon seeing Lauren’s photography, however, I knew she got it. Her photos were fresh, romantic, and didn’t rely on heavy use of Photoshop or tints to cover up lack of talent- she’s just that good. Her personality and flexibility were huge in helping us to relax and enjoy the day. She and her assistant flew down to Austin for our wedding and working with her to get there had been so easy! She is perpetually in a good mood and it is so obvious she loves what she does that you get wrapped up in her happiness. She hadn’t even been to our venue before and she seemed to know exactly where to go to get the right shots. I can honestly say that looking at our photos I didn’t realize my husband and I could be so good looking (thanks for that)! It is important to note how professional and creative with her business she is. The evening of the wedding she uploaded some of her pictures to her iPad and had them on display for guests- everyone seriously loved this! She also provides you with a CD of your photos, rather than forcing you to pay another large sum of money just to get the pictures in your hands, and she was very fast in getting those photos to us. Both my husband and I feel so incredibly lucky that we managed to be able to get Lauren as our photographer. We feel like we got in just before everyone knows who she is and she can charge top dollar for her sessions- she’s really that good! Thank you so much for everything, Lauren. I am spouting your praises to anyone who will listen!

managed to photograph every event that occurred, even surprise events (exchanging gifts) that we did not even warn her of. Many of our guests have commented on how beautiful our photos were, but also added how they did not even notice our photographer. This is an impressive skill. Lauren managed to thoroughly document the day without intruding into each moment. I think I most appreciated her ability to take candid pictures. I treasure the pictures that captured our guests greeting each other as they arrived, genuine smiles, and ridiculous dance moves. Thank you Lauren for all of your hard work! -Dan and Liz

she was great with direction. From our first meeting, she made us feel like we had always been friends which made our shoot that much more relaxed and fun. Her eye for creativity is phenomenal. She is so sweet and caring. Very professional! For any major event in my life or anyone else's, I will definitely have her capture every moment and refer her to everyone I meet.

photography process. My communications with Lauren immediately put me at ease. We met at a coffee shop and talked over the packages, what to expect, etc. From that meeting we were sold! She was personable, talked to us about our personalities, and really worked to understand who we were so she could translate that into the photos--and it worked. We had stellar engagement photos, and the wedding photos were perfect! We wanted a lot of "moments" shots of our friends at the party. She took photos of my friends as if she had known them for years. As my husband and I were looking at the photos for the first time, we found ourselves saying "wow, that's a perfect picture of our friend Nicole" or "she couldn't have gotten a better photo of our friend Michael." Our wedding day, like all I suspect, was busy, hectic, and left little time to spend lots of time with each guest. There wasn't a better feeling after the wedding than seeing photos that reflect your memories of your day. Perhaps more importantly, the photos told us the stories of our guests as they shared our wedding day. It was a wonderful experience to review these pictures and re-remember everything. She took all the photos we wanted and MORE. She took a host of details photos that surprised us when we got the photos back. She got shots of our shoes, flowers, rings, hair, etc. They were beautiful, artistic, and we will cherish them for a long time to come. Finally, I couldn't say more about Lauren as a person. Beyond someone we were doing business with, Lauren has a kind personality and soul. She got to know us as people. I imagine I will keep in contact with Lauren for a long time. We will certainly hire her to take any photos we need in the future, pregnancy, children, etc. She's our photographer as long as she will have us!
