We are so happy that we chose Laurie as our wedding photographer!

h to photography. We could tell that she had a significant depth and breadth of experience, and, beyond that, she spoke quite clearly about her approach — the way she works with light and her method for getting candid and organic photos by not overly posing people.
We worked with her first for our engagement session in Santa Barbara. She knew exactly which spots would work well for the session, and she even helped us pick out and coordinate our outfits beforehand, budgeting in time for us to do an outfit change and still get the most out of golden hour. We were naturally a bit nervous before the session, but her presence and instruction immediately calmed us down. We felt so comfortable during the shoot and were able to just be ourselves. We did not even have to think about what to do with ourselves because she guided us so well, but in a way where the photos weren’t very posed. They turned out so beautifully, really capturing our love for each other in a genuine way.
On the actual wedding day, she was similarly amazing. She managed the timeline extremely well, getting the first look and bridal party/family photos done before the ceremony, making sure everything was on time. We felt confident during the day that she was getting all the important shots, and we are so happy with how they turned out. Not only are they beautiful, but they are artistic and they really tell a story. Laurie got so many fun and candid moments with our friends and family that we will savor forever.
We truly cannot recommend Laurie enough!
The second I met Laurie I knew she was it! Her energy is amazing and she is so fun to work with. My entire wedding party talked about how great she was. I have gotten a few sneak p...
eaks and I can't wait to get all the shots soon. She knew all the best places to take pics at our venue and was super professional. Can't recommend her enough!
It was such a pleasure working with Laurie and her team. Laurie shot our engagement photos and right away she made the process fun and made us so comfortable with her. She is so fu...
n and makes the entire process enjoyable. She is professional and we loved working with Laurie and her team! She was on time the morning of our wedding and was so prepared! We have received a few photos and they are beautiful. Laurie is extremely talented and we so lucky to have us shoot our wedding and engagement photos. We will definitely recommend her to all future family and friends for their wedding. Thank you Laurie for shooting our day and giving us memories that we will cherish forever!
Laurie Bailey and her team are a dream to work with. They are professional, organized, efficient and talented beyond belief. Everything went well from start to finish. She had us f...
ill out an in depth questionnaire prior to the wedding so she had a clear understanding of our vision, family dynamic and what photos and moments were most important to us. She was in contact with us multiple times leading up to the wedding and provided us with a clear schedule which made things really easy to follow. She has a great eye and always thinks outside the box. She even went out of her way to scope out the location days before to find the best spots and lighting. Laurie is an absolute joy and I am looking forward to working with her again the future. Highly highly recommend!
One of the best decisions I made in preparing for our wedding was to hire Laurie Bailey as our photographer! She is amazing and I cannot recommend her enough. I booked her for my w...
edding immediately after talking to her only once, as it was clear from the moment we talked and from her picture portfolio that no one else would be able to capture our wedding day the way she could. She's the consummate professional, well-organized, and seems to know instinctively how to connect with a couple and their vision. While she knew exactly which shots she wanted to take on our wedding day, her close attention to detail made for so many photos that captured some very key organic moments. I trusted her completely throughout the entire process, and having recently received our photos just confirms that she is the best there is! Thank you, Laurie!
I just can't say enough good things about Laurie. We had her shoot our engagement photos in October 2015, and our wedding at Calamigos Ranch in May 2016. Every single shot she turn...
ed over was just incredible. She and her second photographer were there with us on the day from start to finish; and beyond taking gorgeous photos, they made us feel comfortable and let us have fun with it! The portraits were beyond beautiful, but what I really loved was the way she was able to capture the special moments of our wedding...even the ones that we were too busy to see. We love Laurie! Hiring her was one of the best decisions we've ever made; and after all this, we truly consider her to be a friend - Laurie is truly gifted with a camera, and is also just one of the sweetest, most down-to-earth people you'll ever meet. Hire her!
Laurie is awesome!! We did not want the typical "structured" photos that we all see when someone gets married or engaged. I didn't want to be "posed" and unnatural. Instead we wan...
ted a photographer who would be able to capture the "essence" of us. Let me just say, Laurie is amazing at capturing who you are!! We hired Laurie for both engagement photos and the wedding and we could not be happier. She is friendly, nice and wonderful to work with. You will not be disappointed.
I knew I wanted Laurie to be my wedding photographer long before I was engaged. No, I was not one of those brides who bought her dress before she was even in a relationship. I was ...
however, someone who had taken a photography class taught by Laurie, and it was then, that I was introduced to her work. She is a passionate, brilliant, artistic, compassionate storyteller.
Laurie was the first vendor we booked -- before we had solidified a date, simply because we knew she is the best of the best and we knew we needed to get to her first. Not only does she deliver an experience where you feel treated like royalty, where you become the queens and kings of the day, her true gift comes when you first view your photos and you wonder how she could have possible captured those moments.
Your wedding lasts a few hours -- for some it's a weekend long event. Your photos last forever. Entrusting Laurie and her team is the best investment you can make into the start of your happily ever after.

Laurie's photos are amazing! She is so easy to work with. She fades into the background while capturing the moments within the moment. We couldn't be more pleased with her work. ...
She is a 10+ highly recommend.

are straight out of a magazine because they are so good. She is fun and professional, her pricing is beyond fair and reasonable and she couldn't have been more pleasant to work with. Her assistant was fantastic too and the entire experience was perfect.
I have referred Laurie to about ten different brides already who have hired her and absolutely adored her as much as I did. I will continue to use her for other events in my future, not just a one shot deal with my wedding.
You are missing out if you do not meet with her and hire her for your wedding.
