The day of she adapted to all our uncertainties (weather) and gave wonderful tips to changing our timeline/plans for outdoor cocktail hour. She was super nice to our little boys with showing them her harp and worked with the other vendors (dj and photography) for our first dance moved inside. She was honestly the easiest vendor for us to book. She has her own music and also offered to learn any songs that she didn’t know that we would like. Additionally, Laurie is so sweet and so kind, and will literally go the extra mile—or extra 900 miles in our case— as she played at a Wedding in Minnesota the day before our wedding, and drove OVERNIGHT 900 miles to Colorado to play at our wedding the very next afternoon. Incredible and second to none. Her music is flawless. Our guests are STILL raving about her beautiful harp music 4 months later, and many of us have sought out Laurie’s performances around town in MN just to listen more! easily tailored to our event, and she could really project! This was important to us as we had a large outdoor space and ultimately were spread out further with social distancing. Our guests in the furthest seats were pleased to find out they could hear the music well.
Not only is Laurie a talented musician, the harp itself is beautiful. The harp added something visually to our ceremony and was the right scale of instrument for our large ceremony space. It also was a more accommodating instrument in terms of the weather it could withstand compared to some other instruments.
Laurie was very communicative and professional throughout the planning and re-planning process and on our wedding day. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend her!

Also, she was very helpful during our consultation. With so many other things to worry about when getting ready for the wedding, I was so glad that I didn't have to worry at all about the music. Another bonus: the harp looked absolutely gorgeous in our venue (the Sunken Garden at the Como Conservatory). Thank you Laurie!!!
