She was so accommodating and was willing to work with us as much as we needed leading up to the wedding day. She is SO talented and made our ceremony extra special! Laurie Leigh was the harpist at my son’s wedding over Memorial weekend. She played during the ceremony as they walked down the aisle and also during the reception. Laurie is so talented and customizes the music requests to the bride and groom. She is able to take current songs that are meaningful to the couple and recreate them with the harp. Her music adds such elegance to the event. She uses an amplifier so that everyone can easily hear her plunking the strings. Laurie is an absolute GEM! She was able to play at our wedding! She played when the guests came in, when we had the grand march, and the receiving line. She even played quietly through the ceremony so its not quiet, but just beautiful ambient music. She was super communicative, very friendly, and wanted us to hear her play before we made our final decision and let us hear her play at a craft show. I couldnt say no. Her smile is radiating and her professionalism is outstanding. She also helped us figure out what songs to play and even our grand march song. She played through the phone and made sure I liked it all. Loved working with her.

Laurie was beyond-the-charts excellent at our Wedding, she truly made our vision come true! Additionally, Laurie is so sweet and so kind, and will literally go the extra mile—or extra 900 miles in our case— as she played at a Wedding in Minnesota the day before our wedding, and drove OVERNIGHT 900 miles to Colorado to play at our wedding the very next afternoon. Laurie played absolutely beautifully for our outdoor wedding ceremony at Silverwood Park. We received tons of compliments on the music. Laurie has an extensive repertoire that was easily tailored to our event, and she could really project! This was important to us as we had a large outdoor space and ultimately were spread out further with social distancing. Our guests in the furthest seats were pleased to find out they could hear the music well. Not only is Laurie a talented musician, the harp itself is beautiful. The harp added something visually to our ceremony and was the right scale of instrument for our large ceremony space. It also was a more accommodating instrument in terms of the weather it could withstand compared to some other instruments. Laurie was very communicative and professional throughout the planning and re-planning process and on our wedding day. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend her!

Laurie Leigh - Harpist performed at our daughter's wedding in June 2019. Laurie is the ultimate professional and the talent she possesses is amazing! She can play any genre and makes the music selection process so easy by categorizing music selections by genre. Laurie also recommended a vocalist for the ceremony that had such a beautiful voice and sang with so much emotion. We selected 3 solos that were not the "norm" for a wedding but Laurie and Callie were so accommodating and did a beautiful job that our guests are still complementing them to this day! Laurie's talent will be remembered long past the wedding day!

Laurie was an amazing addition to our day on 10/19/19! We had a brunch wedding so she played the pre-ceremony time while friends and family had mimosas and pastries, during our wedding ceremony itself, and also at our cocktail hour. The music she chose was perfect - contemporary before and after, and some traditional music we chose for the ceremony. She sent a huge selection of songs for us to narrow down our picks from, and even sent a cd so we could be familiar with her music prior! I had known her through a mutual friend, but she blew us away for our event, and made an extremely smooth transition between harp music and the dj playlist for our dance.

Laurie was so wonderful to work with and so approachable and friendly! I am the mother of the bride, so I never met her prior to the wedding. My daughter and her fiancé met with Laurie prior to the wedding to determine music selections. My daughter was not necessarily so enthused about having a harpist at her wedding. After meeting with Laurie, hearing her play and ultimately, after the wedding and reception, they both were extremely happy she was there. As a suggestion, (which we didn't think about until after the ceremony) communicate with your other musicians about who you want to be playing and when. We also had a pianist. Unfortunately, the piano overpowered the sound of the harpist and cellist in my opinion. I wish we had told the pianist when we did not want her to play to so that we could have just enjoyed the sound of the harpist and cellist. (beautiful together) Laurie is a professional! Very talented and a great addition to the wedding day!

So thankful for Laurie! Ever since I was young, I wanted to have a harpist at my wedding. All my guests were talking about how awesome of a surprise it was to see her play during cocktail hour. Not only does Laurie play Harp so beautifully, she does it with a cheerful and positive disposition and with true professionalism. She is very responsible and also very agreeable to suggestions and will make sure her part at your event goes perfectly. How do I even begin to explain how wonderful Laurie is? I had it in my head I wanted a harpist for our ceremony and cocktail hour music, and I couldn't have dreamed that we would wind up with someone as kind and accommodating, not to mention talented, as Laurie. I wasn't sure if I was going to cry on my wedding day, but when I heard the first few notes of the song we selected for my bridal processional that was it for me. It was so perfect, and perfectly emotional and her harp has a such a rich, grand sound that it really set the tone for our ceremony, even outdoors the sound was crisp and loud enough for everyone to hear. Our ceremony was outside and it was 48 degrees and she gracefully weathered the cold with a smile on her face and no complaints. She is such a delightful person, I can not recommend Laurie enough. Her prices are very reasonable, and her level of talent is off the charts. One of the best decisions I made in our wedding planning process for sure.

I actually first heard Laurie when she played in the lobby at my work during Christmas last year. I am so glad I asked for her contact information. Laurie was absolutely fabulous! I lost my dad almost exactly 2 months before our wedding and I was taking some night courses, needless to say I was very stressed in the months leading up to the big day. Laurie offered to "free lance" the music to take some pressure off, but I had a specific vision in mind. She reassured me that I didn't have to rush to pick songs, we had up until the day before the wedding to finalize the list. Once we made our selections, she was more than willing to meet with us to review and even play the songs we picked to make sure we were on the same page. She made adjustments to fit our vision and went above and beyond to basically learn a "new" song, which turned out beautifully. We had a solid plan for the day, she would extend or shorten songs as needed, given my step dad walked with a cane, we werent sure how long the trip down our aisle would take. She visually checked in with me to make sure I was still in the building and ready, she even blew me a kiss :). She is incredibly talented and very sweet, we received so many compliments on the beautiful venue, the music and the level of elegance a harp brought to the event. The thought of having harp playing at my wedding never even crossed my mind, but after getting the idea and visiting the Galleria to listen to and talk with her, we knew right away that we wanted her to play for our day. I feel so incredibly blessed to have had an absolutely perfect day and attribute Laurie, as a person and musician to the beauty and elegance of the ceremony. Any excuse I may have in the future to work with her, I will. I simply cannot say enough good things about her!
