Laurken Kendall Photo

ur intimate, central coast wedding. We got married in front of a pile of rocks just above the beach, and it was everything we'd hoped it would be. Laurken fit right in and took everything in stride: from my underwear malfunction to all the accents to the looky-loos during the first look. She showed up for us and gave us exactly what we needed. And the PHOTOS. I want to print every single one. We can't stop looking at them. Just hire her; she's a gem.

s that create the moments, be comfortable to share the intimacy of this event. Look no further than Laurken Kendall ! Laurken created not only memories but art that I’ll forever cherish to tell our love story. She made my husband and I comfortable to just be us in front of the camera. She goes above and beyond to not only be your photographer but also calm your nerves and make you and your partner feel so special. These images are priceless to me. Highly recommend! The best decision I made regarding the wedding for sure! I hope she will be taking our families photos for years to come!

l you see the pictures. She makes magic and is generous enough with her talent that she always make you feel like it was your idea. We took our engagement photos with Laurken in Spokane, WA. We traveled all the way from Oshkosh, WI (somewhere in the neighborhood of a 24-hour drive) and were sleepy-eyed zombies before our photo session. But Laurken, badass that she is, made us feel completely at ease instantly and energized us. Our dream session was to get tattoos together and Laurken made it happen. We also mentioned that we have a minor infatuation with old cemeteries; Laurken found one of those, too. Not only was the day amazing, the photos were brilliant. To say that we felt lucky with our day and experience with Laurken would be an understatement of gargantuan proportions. Not long after this, Laurken came to Milwaukee for our wedding day. We were nervous about many things on our big day - the catering, the ceremony, the decor - but we weren’t remotely worried about our photographs. After our engagement session, we knew that we were in the best hands. She did not let us down. Her support on the day of was like family and the photos were perfect in ways that we never expected. She even made our friend Brad look good, which is an accomplishment. Through the wedding process, Laurken became a lifelong friend. We will absolutely be traveling as far as it takes to get photographed by her again. She is the greatest photographer that has ever lived, and you can do nothing to change our minds. The Harry Houdini of head shots. The Janet Jackson of JPGs. The Walt Whitman of white balance. The best.

st as important was her energy, kindness, and positive spirit that came through to me, my husband, and our guests the entire day! Whether Laurken was holding my veil through the rose garden or calming me when I was nervous, Laurken was there for us. She is one-of-a-kind as a person and photographer!

why her photos come out so candid and lovely even when she's two inches from your face. I LOVE LAURKEN and so does everybody who met her at our wedding <3
