Her process is amazing where she just meets you at your comfort zone, and makes you feel like you have been loving the camera for your whole life. My husband and I are definitely not photo people, but working with Lauryn made us feel so comfortable and confident. Also having an engagement shoot beforehand where we could see her process, get to know her, and ultimately build a relationship before the big day made all the different. Another thing I have to mention aside from Lauryn's work and process is that I really appreciated that on the day Lauryn really advocated for us as humans. It seems like a given, but it is easy to get wrapped up in checking boxes and making sure everything stays on schedule. But on the day Lauryn really took the time not only to get us amazing shots and make us feel comfortable, but she was really understanding and caring. If we seemed tired she advocated that we take a break. If we seemed frustrated she helped get us space to slow down and just enjoy the moment. I cannot give enough praise. I highly recommend Lauryn as your wedding photographer. Beautiful and emotional work with a great process that makes anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. But also with the added plus of being an overall caring person and great advocate for you as a couple on the day!

when we started planning our wedding. We live in Los Angeles but picked a venue in Walla Walla, Washington to be near my hometown. I looked at every local photographer, and though I saw some beautiful work, I didn’t see any being the right fit. I wanted someone who could capture natural light, was mostly true to color, and didn’t overly-edit photos. I went to Instagram to search and stumbled across Lauryn’s page. I instantly fell in love. Right away I could envision what our venue would look like with her touch. We were going for a whimsical, secret garden vibe and I knew Lauryn would be able to make magic. She captures all the natural greens, beautiful floral colors, and LIGHT. There’s something that takes my breath away about how she finds the light in every photo. Planning a destination wedding was stressful but I truly couldn’t have done it without Lauryn. More than a photographer she was a cheerleader, a supporter, and a friend. When I felt nervous about an idea or discouraged by something not coming together, she was there to lend an ear and words of encouragement. Even on the wedding day when we were running more than an hour behind, she was the calm voice ensuring me we’d be okay - even though internally she was probably panicking! Our wedding photos are unreal. I cannot say enough good things. Lauryn (and her husband Bob) captured so many fun, intimate moments that I wouldn’t have noticed with so many things happening. I still look at our photos and think, “How is this us??” She is magic. I will sing her praises until the end of time. 10/10 would recommend. Run, do not walk to book her.

Honestly, they are also just the kind of great people that I would have wanted to have at my wedding regardless of their photography skills. And then there are the photos themselves. I. Am. Ecstatic. They are so beautiful. They captured the joy and fun of the day and all felt like they really looked like all these people we know and love. The mixture of posed and candid shots was perfect. We ended up with these remarkably emotional images that will be with me forever. The photos are giving me a chance to see my wedding day from a whole new perspective because Lauryn and Bob were able to capture parts of the day I wasn't even tuned into. They were able to get these incredible large family photos that we wouldn't have otherwise been able to get. I am beyond grateful for the amazing images of our friends and family that they were able to capture for us.

Given the circumstances, we ended up having to move our reception to a later date. Bob and Lauryn were super understanding and flexible throughout the whole process as we moved dates and requested certain types of photos. They were on top of their business and are great at checking in with us leading up to the event.
