a truly magical photographer. Lauryn Reifinger could not have been more perfect for the job, and choosing her was one of the best decisions that we made.
I was immediately drawn to Lauryn's work for its bold, rich colors. Our wedding was filled with deep jewel tones, and we needed a photographer that would be able to thrive in that atmosphere, without our photos coming out too dark or moody, or the focus of our colors falling short of reality. Lauryn couldn't have possibly nailed it more perfectly. For candid shots, I was BLOWN AWAY by how good they all came out and the shear breadth of all the moments she was able to capture and how good we looked! (even when crying or laughing or dancing)! Her photos perfectly captured the magic and essence of our night that we worked so hard to craft, and thanks to her, we can step back into those moments any time we want.
Beyond her results, Lauryn was a blast to work with at every step of the way. She was upbeat and friendly and fun at every step in the process. When it came time to get down to business, she showed just how skilled and professional she was. She expertly directed all of her subjects for all of our portraits, quickly working her way through every shot she knew we wanted. She seamlessly navigated getting the wedding party and families into positions and poses with the precision of an experienced professional.
I would trust Lauryn with any event I'd ever have, and more than that, it would simply be a joy and a privilege to work with her again. We cannot recommend her more highly!

From the very first phone call for our consult, she was extremely attentive and took the time to know the both of us, which made it super easy for us look like maybe we weren't just two people who don't know what to do in front of a camera. Not to mention, we booked what I would consider last minute. I reached out no less than about 100 days from our wedding day after finding Lauryn online, and she made time for us in her busy fall schedule, on top of having trick-or-treat with her daughter the same night! She also sent us a card that we received right after we got back from our honeymoon, which was incredibly sweet to return to.
We received our preview photographs the first weekday after our wedding and were blown away. I don't think either of us thought that we could actually look like that. And when we got the rest back, I think we both were in awe for quite some time. She captured our family, our friends, and our love in a light that we could only hope for. I have incredibly intimate photographs with everyone I love and I could not have asked for more. They are edited in the best way, the moodiness, the drama, the lights, all of it - chef's kiss.
All in all, I could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish.

nning our moody fall wedding and thought her aesthetic would be perfect for the vibe we wanted to capture. And, it was. My husband and I literally gasped at some of the pictures as we were going through our gallery. Truly gorgeous shots that look like they could be in GQ or an upscale wedding magazine, but that still capture the emotion of the day. She also did a great job handling our family for portraits including a squirmy almost-two-year-old, and was willing to hike up under a bridge to take our engagement photos. I had considered cutting our budget around the photographer investment early on in the planning process and I am so, so happy I didn’t go that route - your wedding goes by so fast and some if it will be just a blur, trust me, you’re going to want the best photos you can possibly get. It was pretty chilly that day, and she ran all around Philly to all of the locations that we requested to capture our photographs, all while keeping us happy and comfortable. Driving from Philly to Boston, Lauryn showed up to the hotel early, and just hit the ground running. She introduced herself, infecting everyone with her fun, bubbly personality. So effortless were our conversations, we didn't even realize she had been snapping pictures the moment she entered the room. When it was time to get going, she yanked out the schedule we created, and moved the bridal and groom parties around like she was a day-of coordinator, which we already had 2 of!
I have never seen my wife on time for anything, but Lauryn got her from Point A to Point B like the pro she is! She made sure neither parties crossed paths before we got to the isle, nailed every single shot we wanted (and ones we didn't even know we wanted!), and kept us all on time, with some to spare.
By the end of the night, we all just wanted to be friends with her!

We were first struck by the beauty of Lauryn's samples, each one looked like it was plucked out of a fairy tale. Then when we talked on the phone, our minds were made up. Her personality and vision just so gelled with our own and a bond was formed...between Husband and Wife and Photographer :).
She is a true professional, dredging through riverbeds and climbing up rock walls to get the perfect shot. When she was working with our family, she calmly but effectively wrangled both of our crazy aunts and uncles. And during the big party, she was on the dance floor capturing every moment of bliss.
As someone who is a bit self-conscious, I was hesitant that I'd get the same "fairy tale effect" from looking at my photos...Well Lauryn removed all hesitation and I'm completely obsessed. And that feeling is shared by everyone with whom we've shared her work.

Our wedding was originally supposed to be in April, however the pandemic completely changed our wedding plans from a 150+ person wedding to a micro wedding with 21 people in my parents in law backyard in July. Lauryn rolled with the changes and made this process so incredibly easy.
Needless to say, the pictures of our day are just absolutely beautiful! She captured every single special moment and so many wonderful candids. Lauryn is such a gem and truly one of the MVPs of our wedding day. Her work is stunning, and I am obsessed with every single one of our photos. But on top of that, she is an amazin...
g person to have with you on a day when you may be, as I was, a little insane. She is super sweet, fun, and genuine, while also being an incredible people-manager. We had a tight timeline with multiple locations throughout the day. Lauryn got every shot (and then some), wrangled my unruly family and my husband's large one, dodged traffic in a Wawa parking lot (yes we took pictures there), and just generally made everything happen, while also being incredibly flexible with whatever last minute ideas I came up with. I never felt rushed, but I also never felt like I had to worry about getting everything in because she had everything in hand. During the ceremony and reception, she was like a fly on the wall, catching things I didn't even know were happening, and then suddenly appearing to help with things like getting a plate for the cake cutting when the catering staff forgot to bring one out.
