I just got my full gallery back at an amazingly quick turnaround time (wedding was like a little over 3 weeks ago), and the photos turned out fantastic and moody, exactly what we w...
anted for that autumnal aesthetic! I kept trying to recall certain moments of the day because it all kind of felt like a blur, but Lauryn captured so many memories and details that I am just so happy these photos are the physical evidence of one of the greatest days of my life!
Working with Lauryn in general was as fun and easy as can be, it was raining all day on our wedding and we still went out and took a lot of cute rainy pics. I have low self-esteem and was worried I'd feel awkward the whole time but she made it very easy to pose you and guide you that it felt like a breeze.
She also quickly pivoted to finding the best locations for us to take photos, kept the flow of portraits with my slightly chaotic family, and even rearranged rooms and helped fix my dress and my husband's boutonniere because we didn't know how to put it on, lol! Just such an incredibly kind and caring person who loves what she does. You won't regret hiring her at all! :)
Wow… where do I even begin?!
I reached out to Lauryn for a ten-year wedding anniversary shoot after endlessly searching for a photographer who would embrace a non-traditional visio...
n. The universe finally led me to Lauryn’s Instagram, which was filled with the most beautifully moody, romantic-in-their-own-way photographs I had ever seen.
I had such a specific vision for our anniversary photos, & Lauryn truly just GOT ME. No over-explaining, no endless searching for references that didn’t quite exist. I wanted something dark, dramatic, unconventional, & reminiscent of an old oil painting rather than traditional romantic portraits. She understood that vision effortlessly & brought it to life beyond anything I could have imagined.
What made the experience even more special was how comfortable she made us feel being entirely ourselves. No forced smiles, no cheesy poses, no pressure to fit into anyone else’s idea of romance. Just us, exactly as we are. She even incorporated our senior basset hound Layla into the experience, making these memories that much more meaningful.
The photos Lauryn captured for us are genuine works of art that immortalized our personalities, our relationship, & a moment in our lives we’ll treasure forever. Lauryn, thank you for embracing our unconventionality & creating something so authentically us. Your talent is truly extraordinary. 🖤
Lauryn was amazing to work with. Super creative and had great ideas that captured our wedding beautifully. Loved her style - the photos came out great. She was also just fun to han...
g out with throughout the day!
Our wedding at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia was not your run of the mill Wedding, and to have a chance of capturing the truly unique magic of our day, we needed ...
a truly magical photographer. Lauryn Reifinger could not have been more perfect for the job, and choosing her was one of the best decisions that we made.
I was immediately drawn to Lauryn's work for its bold, rich colors. Our wedding was filled with deep jewel tones, and we needed a photographer that would be able to thrive in that atmosphere, without our photos coming out too dark or moody, or the focus of our colors falling short of reality. Lauryn couldn't have possibly nailed it more perfectly. For candid shots, I was BLOWN AWAY by how good they all came out and the shear breadth of all the moments she was able to capture and how good we looked! (even when crying or laughing or dancing)! Her photos perfectly captured the magic and essence of our night that we worked so hard to craft, and thanks to her, we can step back into those moments any time we want.
Beyond her results, Lauryn was a blast to work with at every step of the way. She was upbeat and friendly and fun at every step in the process. When it came time to get down to business, she showed just how skilled and professional she was. She expertly directed all of her subjects for all of our portraits, quickly working her way through every shot she knew we wanted. She seamlessly navigated getting the wedding party and families into positions and poses with the precision of an experienced professional.
I would trust Lauryn with any event I'd ever have, and more than that, it would simply be a joy and a privilege to work with her again. We cannot recommend her more highly!
Absolutely wonderful experience! Lauryn went above and beyond for our wedding day. We chose to get married in the morning privately and take about an hour or so of pictures with ea...
ch other and family/friends, and she went above and beyond! From the very first phone call for our consult, she was extremely attentive and took the time to know the both of us, which made it super easy for us look like maybe we weren't just two people who don't know what to do in front of a camera. Not to mention, we booked what I would consider last minute. I reached out no less than about 100 days from our wedding day after finding Lauryn online, and she made time for us in her busy fall schedule, on top of having trick-or-treat with her daughter the same night! She also sent us a card that we received right after we got back from our honeymoon, which was incredibly sweet to return to.
We received our preview photographs the first weekday after our wedding and were blown away. I don't think either of us thought that we could actually look like that. And when we got the rest back, I think we both were in awe for quite some time. She captured our family, our friends, and our love in a light that we could only hope for. I have incredibly intimate photographs with everyone I love and I could not have asked for more. They are edited in the best way, the moodiness, the drama, the lights, all of it - chef's kiss.
All in all, I could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish.
We highly recommend Lauryn for all of your photography needs!
I can't even begin to explain how blown away we were after seeing our wedding photos. Lauryn did such a great job!! Her dark and moody editing style is exactly what we were looking...
for. She truly brought our vision to life and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out! Lauryn also has a wonderful personality and is super easy to work with. She is so sweet and makes the whole thing so easy. When I needed an extra bobby pin to fasten my hair accessory, I realized I ran out of pins. She took a bobby pin out of her OWN hair and gave it to me to make sure I looked how I wanted to look. I was so blown away by her graciousness and professionalism. Her work truly speaks for itself. I couldn't recommend her enough!!
Lauryn is AMAZING, talented, and very down to earth. Hired her for my wedding day, and am beyond happy with the choice. She kept the day moving without making us feel stressed, and...
ensured that we got all of the photos we want without us missing a lot of time from the wedding. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a fun wedding photographer that has the perfect eye for shots! (:
Lauryn was our dream photographer, and a dream to work with. Working with Lauryn felt like working with a really close friend. She understood who we were as couple, and curated our...
photos to reflect that. My husband and I are both camera shy and a bit awkward, so we were nervous for our engagement session. Lauryn made us feel so comfortable that when it came to the wedding day, we felt like pros. On our wedding day, Lauryn even stayed a few minutes late to capture a very special moment for our niece. We recently got our wedding album back, and we have yet to stop staring at it. Lauryn is not only a talented photographer, but she will go above and beyond for her clients.
We had Lauryn shoot our engagement photos and it was such a positive experience that we booked her for our wedding, too. 3 words--above and beyond. For someone who doesn't like pho...
tos taken, Lauryn really helped me and my partner feel comfortable, and throughout the wedding day she was more than willing to jump in and help me with panic-inducing moments like safety-pinning my dress! What a lifesaver and an artistic delight. I wish I could get married 300 more times to hire Lauryn all over again!

l, it felt as if Lauryn was a long time friend, rather than a stranger I just spoke to for the first time. She took time getting to know us as a couple and paid close attention to detail. Lauryn was so organized and kept in great communication with me leading up to our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Lauryn arrived on time, remained on schedule, and was always laughing with us! She has a true eye for capturing couples and made us feel so comfortable the whole time. I was also impressed with how quickly we received our "sneak peaks" and final photo gallery. The photo quality was even better than I ever expected and there was a large variety of photos that captured all of our loved ones. I highly recommend Lauryn and look forward to working with her again in the future for other photo opportunities!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Lauryn. She was an absolute dream to work with—attentive, organized, and always keeping us on schedule while making the day ...
flow so smoothly. As a bride, I especially appreciated how calm and reassuring she was; it felt like having an extra layer of support by my side. Her attention to detail and eye for lighting are incredible, and it shows in every photo. She captured not only the big moments but also the little ones so beautifully. These are images we will always cherish. Highly recommend!
Lauryn was the second best decision we made on our wedding day besides marrying one another. Her work speaks for itself so be sure to look at some of her past weddings! My husband ...
and I eloped privately so photographs were key as this is how our families experienced our ceremony. Lauryn’s gallery told the story of our day beautifully and I will cherish those photos forever. With our ceremony being private we spent a majority of the day working closely with her and we had a blast! She did not miss a single detail (and there were many!) I highly recommend Lauryn as your wedding photographer, she captured ours phenomenally.

nning our moody fall wedding and thought her aesthetic would be perfect for the vibe we wanted to capture. And, it was. My husband and I literally gasped at some of the pictures as we were going through our gallery. Truly gorgeous shots that look like they could be in GQ or an upscale wedding magazine, but that still capture the emotion of the day. She also did a great job handling our family for portraits including a squirmy almost-two-year-old, and was willing to hike up under a bridge to take our engagement photos. I had considered cutting our budget around the photographer investment early on in the planning process and I am so, so happy I didn’t go that route - your wedding goes by so fast and some if it will be just a blur, trust me, you’re going to want the best photos you can possibly get. You can’t go wrong with this lady!
Lauryn was an absolute dream to work with! She is so professional, creative, and talented. We felt so comfortable with her right from the start of the day and just enjoyed the whol...

horough in the details, clearly communicated with us, and ensured that our vision for the big day was aligned. On the actual wedding day, she was delightful to be around. It was pretty chilly that day, and she ran all around Philly to all of the locations that we requested to capture our photographs, all while keeping us happy and comfortable. She was amazingly organized, stuck to the timeline, and kept everyone else on schedule (no easy feat). When we saw the actual finished products, we were blown away. They are absolutely stunning and we couldn't be happier. When thinking back on the day, we recognize that we love how our photos turned out because of Lauryn's ability to make us feel so comfortable posing for photos. It really translates into the photographs, and we are forever grateful to Lauryn because it's something we will look back on fondly for years to come. Do yourselves a favor and book Lauryn as your photographer! She's an absolute gem!
We work with Lauryn all the time and she is absolutely TOP TIER! As a fellow wedding vendor I can confirm you are in the best of hands with her, THANK YOU for all you do!!!

When looking for a photographer/vendor you look at things like cost or budget. You look at the portfolio of the photographer. But what you don’t see is the behind the scenes. I can’t ever thank you, pay you enough. Everyone from me the bride to the bridal party, the venue manager RAVED about how amazing you are Lauryn. And now after seeing your finalized work I’m blown away.
Thank you for everything. If you’re a bride in the eastern pa looking for the BEST photographer, look no further. Book her RIGHT NOW!

imply one of the best PEOPLE we have ever have had the pleasure of working with!
Driving from Philly to Boston, Lauryn showed up to the hotel early, and just hit the ground running. She introduced herself, infecting everyone with her fun, bubbly personality. So effortless were our conversations, we didn't even realize she had been snapping pictures the moment she entered the room. When it was time to get going, she yanked out the schedule we created, and moved the bridal and groom parties around like she was a day-of coordinator, which we already had 2 of!
I have never seen my wife on time for anything, but Lauryn got her from Point A to Point B like the pro she is! She made sure neither parties crossed paths before we got to the isle, nailed every single shot we wanted (and ones we didn't even know we wanted!), and kept us all on time, with some to spare.
By the end of the night, we all just wanted to be friends with her!
We will recommend Lauryn to any and everyone! We wish we could rate her even higher! It is a genuine hope that we can work with her again in the future.
Thanks for everything, Lauryn!

m your new spouse? YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER! That's why we did not take the process of finding the right photographer lightly. We were first struck by the beauty of Lauryn's samples, each one looked like it was plucked out of a fairy tale. Then when we talked on the phone, our minds were made up. Her personality and vision just so gelled with our own and a bond was formed...between Husband and Wife and Photographer :).
She is a true professional, dredging through riverbeds and climbing up rock walls to get the perfect shot. When she was working with our family, she calmly but effectively wrangled both of our crazy aunts and uncles. And during the big party, she was on the dance floor capturing every moment of bliss.
As someone who is a bit self-conscious, I was hesitant that I'd get the same "fairy tale effect" from looking at my photos...Well Lauryn removed all hesitation and I'm completely obsessed. And that feeling is shared by everyone with whom we've shared her work.
In summary. Book Lauryn Immediately...

For our engagement shoot location she gave us an amazing list of nearby recommendations. She got us the pictures in record time and made us feel like we were pros.
Our wedding day was beyond perfect. She pulled off some magic and kept some cute surprises I had planned for my husband a secret, and made sure she was perfectly placed for the reveals! The schedule she had laid out for us made everything flow seamlessly.
We already can’t wait for the next big event in our new life together that we can ask her again to freeze in time.
Lauryn was INCREDIBLE. She had my husband and I laughing the whole time! It made us feel so relaxed and at home and it definitely shows in the photos!

well. Also since then, she has been recommended through our friends group, from weddings to baby announcement photos.
Our wedding was originally supposed to be in April, however the pandemic completely changed our wedding plans from a 150+ person wedding to a micro wedding with 21 people in my parents in law backyard in July. Lauryn rolled with the changes and made this process so incredibly easy.
Needless to say, the pictures of our day are just absolutely beautiful! She captured every single special moment and so many wonderful candids. Even when Lauryn's time to leave came and we thanked her and said our goodbyes, it must have been 5-10 minutes later that I looked out front and saw her still there taking more photographs of my nieces and nephews playing. I just cannot say enough great things. I am so happy we chose Lauryn for our photographer and we cannot wait for her to capture our reception next year with all of our family and friends!
I cannot say enough good things about Lauryn! She shot our wedding on 7/11/20 and we could not be happier with how everything turned out! At first when we met Lauryn, I felt like s...
he shared our vision with wanting to get all the special moments and emotions of the day without a ton of posed photos. And she got exactly that. And let me tell you about flexible. We had to change our wedding venue 8 days before. Yes, 8 days before our wedding, and she never hesitated. With all the stress of changing everything just a week before, to have a vendor that was so easy and stress free, we couldn't of asked for anything better.
The day flies by and there are so many moments and things you don't get to see, so going back and getting to see them through the photos has been amazing. She got so many precious moments of the day where I feel like I'm reliving the day all over again. And it truly was the best day ever, and now I have the most amazing photos to look at for the rest of my life. If you are looking for a photographer to get photos that can make you laugh, cry, and help you relive your best day ever, then go with Lauryn!

We love you Lauryn! We can’t thank you enough!

mony, and she really worked with us to make everyone comfortable that day. She was so personable that the guests raved about how kind she was after the wedding. Her talent is absolutely breathtaking, her style is timeless, and you can see the dedication that she puts into each and every photo. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!!

one I could trust with my nerves and hired her. She was absolutely fantastic with all of our family members and got all the shots we needed, plus tons more. She brings ideas to the table, gives great direction and advice, and works at the speed of lightening! Even with two big families, she got everyone photographed and we got to enjoy our entire cocktail hour. I wont go on and on about the quality of the photos because you can see for yourself, but she just has a great eye, and is so super professional and friendly with everyone. She take beautiful candids shots as well as the posed photos. I cant recommend Lauryn enough!
For the people who scroll through reviews looking for facts:
-Pictures = I cannot describe how beautiful they are. They are BEYOND. Beautifully edited and she captures the perfect...
moments. Our fist kiss picture? I cry every time I look at it.
-Professionalism = 100 out of 10. Lauryn responds to every question and concern.
-Timeliness = I received my pictures back in two months (AND it was the holiday season!)
-Price = fit perfectly in my budget and was significantly below other photographers.
-Style = Shes prefers candid photos as opposed to staged photos. Which was a win in my book. But she also works with you to create any image you have in mind.
-Should you book her? YESSSS!
I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Lauryn. Her contagious positive attitude, creativity and talent are just a few of the reasons why you should hire her.
Lauryn is such a gem and truly one of the MVPs of our wedding day. Her work is stunning, and I am obsessed with every single one of our photos. But on top of that, she is an amazin...
g person to have with you on a day when you may be, as I was, a little insane. She is super sweet, fun, and genuine, while also being an incredible people-manager. We had a tight timeline with multiple locations throughout the day. Lauryn got every shot (and then some), wrangled my unruly family and my husband's large one, dodged traffic in a Wawa parking lot (yes we took pictures there), and just generally made everything happen, while also being incredibly flexible with whatever last minute ideas I came up with. I never felt rushed, but I also never felt like I had to worry about getting everything in because she had everything in hand. During the ceremony and reception, she was like a fly on the wall, catching things I didn't even know were happening, and then suddenly appearing to help with things like getting a plate for the cake cutting when the catering staff forgot to bring one out.
Lauryn was also so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, from sending me vendor recommendations to finalizing our timeline, and she definitely wins the title of Fastest Email Responder. From our first phone conversation, she was reassuring and just so lovely to work with. She's really the whole package, and one of my favorite vendors that we worked with--I couldn't recommend her more!!
My now husband and I met Lauryn on a brewery tour a week after we got engaged and instantly hit it off. I found out she went to the same college as I had and we knew right away, we...
had to use her for our photographer! I looked at her work and loved everything, especially the candids she took and how the pictures weren't all the, "typical" wedding photos. Lauryn's prices were reasonable and she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect before the wedding day and day of. I am a very anxious person and Lauryn answered any all and my questions in a timely manner and constantly put me at ease. Day of, she was right on time and took all of the pictures I requested. She even helped me put on my shoes and carry my dress at times! Just this week, we got out pictures back and needless to say, I am beyond happy with them!
