Having never had professional photos done I was really nervous about the shoots and she changed all that nervousness into joy instantly ! She helped us with outfit styling and choosing a location that fit our vision for engagement. Lavel is absolutely amazing. Not only did she take spectacular photos, but she made sure our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. After getting to know us she suggested a beautiful location for our ceremony out in the mountains and helped us put together a timeline for our micro wedding. Lavel was our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos, and everything was amazing! The photos looked incredible and she did such a great job with scouting locations and making us feel comfortable. Lavel did our engagement and wedding day photos. We immediately felt comfortable and at ease with Lavel. She really brings out the fun and perfectly executed our vision for our engagement shoot and wedding day photos. Since we were from Austin and getting married in Santa Fe, we really leaned on Lavel for locations and the best places to shoot. From our engagement shoot surrounded by incredible New Mexico landscapes to our Santa Fe venue and walk through the town square every spot was magically captured. Expect to get your photos back QUICK! I was so impressed with her turn around time. There is both quantity and quality of photos. Lavel was a true joy to work with on our engagement and wedding photos. Starting with our engagement photos, my husband and I walked in expecting to feel awkward in front of the camera but Lavel made the entire session fun and very natural. She really got to know us and was so easy to work with when we started planning wedding details. Where do I even start?! When Covid hit and our wedding had to be changed, Lavel really worked with us in changing the date multiple times. We wanted to take our engagement photos in a special place that was out of town. When we asked Lavel, she was more than happy to take photos in a new location that she hadn’t been before and she even took her beautiful family to assist us with our dog! Our engagement photos were flawless and she got them to us so promptly! Fast forward two years later to our wedding day, she made sure our timeline was perfect! Our wedding party was large and her and Chenoa really took the time to ensure everyone looked their best especially in the group photos! Lavel and Chenoa captured our day beautifully. Of course we were so excited to see our pictures and the morning after the wedding we woke up to some sneak peeks! They were so awesome to see immediately and we didn’t have to wait! Lavel was such an amazing photographer for our mini ceremony. She responded really quickly and was very flexible and helpful. We did things super last minute but Lavel was easy to work with and our photos are beautiful. We're not really comfortable in front of the camera, but Lavel made us feel comfortable and we got some really lovely shots. She also got us our photos back WAY faster than I expected.

With all of the craziness in the world right now with Coronavirus, I am sure you can imagine the disasters and stress of wedding season. My May 30th wedding was cancelled, my original photographer couldn’t travel to where I was stuck due to travel restrictions, it was a hot mess. But at the end of the day my husband and I just wanted to have our special day no matter what. So it was quite easy... all we need was a photographer. And that was when we stumbled across Lavel. From the very beginning, my thought are just wow. She was the sweetest, most thoughtful photographer I have ever worked with. Before our elopement, she took us to several places to scope out the area for a ceremony, and offered a few more recommendations as well. We chatted over zoom a few times to make sure all the details would be perfect- Lavel did not let anything past her when it came to perfection! Now our actual photo shoot and wedding photos- literal tears of happiness fall everytime I look at them. Label and her sister made Jacob and I feel so special on our elopement. They perfectly captured our love and playful personalities in the photos. We have already printed a few to go around the house, and I know more will be coming because they are just STUNNING. Well, where do I even begin? I met Lavel a few years ago as a fellow photographer for coffee, and the rest is history. I have unique experience working with Lavel on numerous occasions, both behind and in front of the camera. As a photographer she is extremely talented, knowledgeable, and prepared before every session. She does a great job organizing and directing groups and families in a wedding setting, all while continuing to make it fun, so that everyone has a great time (which is a feat in and of itself)! Her sister and Assistant Lara, is a blast, SO fun, and helps every aspect to run seamlessly. Chenoa, is an amazing photographer as well and is such a beautiful and friendly person. The team they have is and has become a little family, that rocks the socks off of every photography session. In front of the camera I have modeled for two styled shoots, one turned into my SURPRISE proposal!! 😱 Both times were meticulously well crafted and organized. Lavel worked with my now fiance to plan the most beautiful and perfect setup for him to pop the question... literally made my dreams come true! Working together, Lavel is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. She not only invests in people as clients, but she does it to build relationships. Which is something incredibly rare these days! Lavel has such creative vision and the ability to bring it to life! Additionally, Lavel is excellent at giving direction for posing which doesn't feel awkward or unnatural, something that is incredibly helpful!
